I am very pleased with all the care and attention given by the staff at Lansglade House. My husband appears to be quite contented. I am extremely satisfied with all aspects of his care and can praise all members of staff for their kind help to patients. Thank you.

Dad has been at Lansglade for just over six months and his care needs have become more complex. The support the Lansglade team have provided him and us is outstanding. The team's expertise and empathy are truly excellent. They keep us informed at all times and Dad is happier than he has been for years.

As soon as you walk into the home it oozes with kindness and friendliness nothing is too much trouble for anyone. The room where my wife says is kept spotless. I cannot praise you enough and that goes for my daughter as well.

My mother stayed here following a month in hospital. The Manager and the team are very professional and kept our family up to date with the processes, what to expect and ongoing progress. The Activities Coordinator arranges great activities and takes time with each resident. All the staff are kind,
compassionate, and caring and treat their residents with respect.

My stepmother spent her remaining months at Lansglade House Care Home. The care and attention given to her by staff were exemplary. Although unable to fully communicate, she was obviously very comfortable with the staff and surroundings. They looked after her so well with great care an dignity. Thank

We as a family were very happy and satisfied with all aspects of care received by my sister during her stay with you. The atmosphere made it so easy to settle in. Mum has been resident at Lansglade House Care Home for some years now and, as a family, we continue to be very grateful that a room was available to her after being discharged from hospital. She is most definitely a member of the Lansglade family and held in genuine affection by the caring, friendly
and helpful staff, many of whom have been at Lansglade for many years. Despite being confined to bed now, as she nears the end of her life, she is still involved in everyday activities which are adapted to her interests and capacity. Mum is safe and content. We couldn't ask for more.

I write for myself and my sister to thank you for organising the exceptional care that my brother-in-law received while in your care home. I and my sister were in confusion at the time when care homes were under consideration earlier this year. Lansglade house was offered and from the very first introduction,
we knew he was in safe hands. My brother-in-law arrived with behaviour issues that must have been a challenge at the time but with the care and consideration from senior staff members and the referral to the relevant assessment teams he was managed successfully in an environment that he grew to enjoy and thrive. His progress in the home was always fully explained to the family members using non-medical language and good humour which was always appreciated. Nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble to any of the staff members which is highly creditable and should be recognised as the high level of training which all staff must have achieved.

My dad has been at Lansglade House for a little over two weeks now and I can honestly say he has never looked better. The staff always seem friendly, happy and eager to help when I visit His room is clean and comfortable with big windows, so bright and sunny (when it shines). He has a toilet and sink
in his room and a shower room on his floor so he can be supervised when showering in case he falls. He tells me the food is very good and there's plenty of it. Lansglade have had a visit from a therapy animal group and took photos so I could talk to dad about it and the photos really prompted his memory of the visit The only negative I can think of is that dad likes very hot water for shaving and he tells me its not hot enough in his room but I guess there's a safety concern about very hot water.

Although dad was only a resident at Lansglade House for a few weeks, we cannot praise them enough for the wonderful care he received. Mum was able to relax in the knowledge that he was safe and well cared for. The manager and her staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely
recommend them to anyone looking for a residential place for their relative.

I would like to thank the management and all the staff at Lansglade House for their care of my mother who has sadly passed away. Mum was very happy there and considered it her home. She made friends amongst the residents and staff. The home dealt with her physical and mental wellbeing with patience,
understanding and kindness. We were always kept informed of mums ups and downs and were supported not only with mums death but also the deaths of my father and brother earlier in the year.

It's been (and still is) a tough time for care homes. What's more, the declining health of my mother is challenging. However, the staff at Lansglade are so attentive, patient and kind, that I cannot recommend them highly enough.

This is a very happy and caring home and I am delighted with the way my husband is treated. I cannot comment on the quality of the food as I haven't been there at mealtime, though my husband has said that he is satisfied with the quality of the food. He is often helping the staff with light duties which
he loves doing and he asks them to give him things to do with them as well as laying tables for meals etc.

My lovely mum was watching TV when she suffered a stroke, if it wasn’t for the care and fast actions of staff I know my mum wouldn’t be alive today. The care and love is just outstanding not just for mum but for us as a family.
They truly need to be recognised for the amazing work they do and how they
love and care for all the residents, they really are one big happy family.
They are simply the best.

My Aunt has been at Lansglade House since December 2018, until her passing in May 2022. I can highly recommend the love, help and support shown to her during her stay, especially in the last few weeks when her health deteriorated and she became bedbound. All the staff were so friendly and caring and
communication was excellent. The home is very clean and she always had fresh sheets and her room was very tidy. All the staff went above and beyond to look after auntie so well, and it was a great comfort to know when I wasn't with her that she was left in safe hands. I can highly recommend Lansglade House, and thanks again for all the care given to my dear auntie.

Mum has been here since March, she is happy and content and settled in really quickly and I am happy knowing she is safe and well cared for. The staff are all amazing, kind, caring, friendly professionals. Every visit Mum tells me they are all lovely and I totally agree and they not only look after
her but support me as well. They keep me well informed and I can call at any time to see how she is and visiting is easily organised.


Mum is in her own world but she comments on how nice the rooms and food are and she has put on weight since arriving. She is always clean, neat and tidy in appearance and loves having her nails painted. Her room which is bright and comfy is kept clean and tidy. I am so pleased my mum is here and that she is happy, it has such a homely feel to it - I couldn't ask for a better place for her. Just want to say thank you for making a hard decision so much easier.

My dad was at Lansglade for nearly 4 years with advanced dementia. I can not thank the staff enough for the wonderful care that he received. The staff are dedicated and knowledgeable.
They were so understanding of his needs and when I regularly visited dad he always looked calm and comfortable.
Lansglade has a homely feel and there is always a smile and some laughter. I have every admiration for the staff and thank them for their commitment particularly through recent challenging times.
