Our mum has been in the care of The Corner House for over a year now. I have to comment on the establishment starting from the management down to all the hardworking staff. You all do an incredible job, with due dilligence care, concern and smile on your face. All the staff make visitors and guests
feel at ease in what could be such a difficult time in peoples likes thank you all.

Mum has been at the home for a year now and just celebrated her 90th birthday. We had a small family party and the home made it a really special day. They helped decorate a private room and supplied a terrific buffet. We can't thank the staff involved enough. Mum has settled in so well and it's a
relief to know she is safe and cared for

My grandmother has been in this care home the last two years and I couldn't ask for a better home. The staff go above and beyond to make sure she is looked after but also having fun and entertained. The weekly activities are amazing, even the option to get your nails painted makes it feel like a
home not just a care home, which was one of the things that was really important to my family and one of the reasons we chose this home.

Mum is currently in respite, awaiting hip replacement. She feels and is, well cared for. The staff cannot do enough for her. Food wise, only thing which can be said is Excellent! Mum has settled well and is still finding her way under her terms and is considering moving into full time care, after
her surgery. Well done Kate and staff and thank you.

I am the carer for my 92yr old husband Peter, who has dementia Alzeimer's. I am 81yrs old and on Sept 25th 2025 I had to go into hospital for a cornea transplant necessitating convalescing for a few weeks. I could not care for Peter; so required respite for him. Corner House agreed to respite care
from 25th Sept to 19th Oct. Peter thrived and enjoyed the care home. His room was immaculate with a garden view and access. Daily activities were many and varied and Peter joined in happily with staff and residents. I could watch his participation on social media daily. Food was plentiful and the menu varied, star quality cakes and cuisine was available at all times if desired. Excellent care and support was constant. The manager was present and interested in all aspects of the care provided. The staff, senior and all ranks and manager are to be congratulated on a well run establishment and happy residents. I would not hesitate to recommend Corner House to potential users and would use their services again if required in the future.

I attended The Corner House family day for an old friend. I do not have a relative in this home but it was very clear that the care and attention to residents was very high. So much was put into the day and the lady I know clearly loved it.

My Dad has been at the home since Feb 25. I definitely made the right choice for my Dad. Staff make you feel like you a part of one big family. They are attentive and caring to all residents. The entertainment they provide for residents is top class. The home gives me a warm fuzzy feeling. Thank you
for looking after my Dad.

I came to the fete and was impressed by how friendly the staff were. They cared for the residents very well. It's lovely to see that there is an effort made to entertain the residents.

My mum has only been a resident for 2 weeks but what I have experienced so far has been very good. The home is always very clean, staff are friendly and welcoming and the residents seem content.

Absolutely love this home! The staff are all so lovely followed by great management. Both my grandparents say how nice it is including the food. Staff and management always have time to talk to families also.

Mum has had the up most care in corner house, she is so well looked after by all staff, they are all compassionate / caring about their work. They are always ready to talk, and listen to her and to us as a family.
The food is very good and offer a wide range of choices for mum who can sometimes be
fussy.
The home is always clean tidy & smells fresh all the time.
We are contacted by phone or email if their are any problems or a doctor appointment and we are updated to the outcomes.
We are so very happy to have found such a caring friendly home for mum and she always says that she wants to stay.
They give us support with mum and her dementia diagnosis.
The staff are always happy to help in any way they can from the manager / office staff to the cleaners making everyone feel welcome.
I can honestly say we are very grateful knowing mum is in a safe place and being cared for so well.

I am impressed in general by the atmosphere of this home and how they are looking after my friend who has dementia. Always patient and pleasant and the facilities - enclosed gardens and relaxed atmosphere encouraging residents to live their lives to the fullest.

Corner House Care Home is brilliant. The care that the gave to my mother was impeccable, they have loads of activities for residents, food is good and the staff are amazing, they definitely go that extra mile for their residents. Nothing is too much trouble, well done all of you.

My mother moved into permanent residential care a week ago, and we cannot fault anything. The staff are wonderful, friendly and caring, they all seem happy. Mum has been able to settle in immediately, she is enjoying the food and loves her room. Nothing is too much trouble. Very impressed.

I'm always happy to write a few words of praise for the caring team looking after my sister. The Corner House is a comfortable, friendly, well run care home. The staff are so helpful and caring, nothing is too much trouble for them. My sister is always dressed in coordinating outfits, which, to me,
is a sign of going the extra mile. There are plenty of activities organised and special days are observed. The standard of cleanliness is good, and my sister's room is kept spotlessly clean. My grateful thanks.

My mother has been in the home for 2 months. Mum has missed out on so much in life, we are so pleased to see her happy again and pleased to see her happy again and experience things that she has not done in a long time. We thank the staff for everything that they do for her. I am so happy with the

The Corner House is simply the best. The care, food, staff, kitchen manager, everyone who works there, are truly amazing all always happy staff you can talk to, it's just a really lovely home. I would be happy to send any parent there.

My wife & i visit my mum on a weekly basis since she went to live at Corner House in November 2024 & have always found the home fresh, clean & very welcoming. All of the staff are lovely, friendly & very helpful.
The cleaners are always chatting to mum as they work & the carers, though always busy,
still manage to have time for her. The management staff are wonderful & attentive & always on hand should any concerns crop up which they deal with promptly. The activities are fantastic & mum is always saying that she has got so much to do that she doesn't know where the time goes. She has been out a few times to different places with the staff & always looks forward to these jaunts, yesterday was a trip to the seafront for lunch & refreshments in a beach hut, she loved it!
So all in all a very contented resident & family that has nothing but praise for the care my mum is receiving.

We cannot express our sincere gratitude enough to the staff for the care and compassion they showed our nan during her stay. This includes the care staff, and specifically the management and finances team for always being on hand for any queries, or questions. They were more than happy to explain
things, multiple times, and really took the time to make sure we understood as much of nans care as possible. They protected Nan, and cared for her like she was one of their family, and even in death they treated her with dignity- compassion like this is what all care and nursing homes should strive for.
