Mum is a lady with advanced dementia, she can be extremely difficult to deal with. The care staff have shown patience and understanding when dealing with her personal care! The management and staff have been so welcoming to not only my mum but also to my brother and myself when visiting.

I would like to thank all the wonderful staff who look after Anita in her safety & health. Appreciate all the hard work & patience it takes to run a nursing home & Anita seems to be happy in her environment. Thank you somuch she is so looked after.

We have always found the staff at Corner Lodge to be very helpful. They treat the residents with kindness and dignity. The activities for the residents are plentiful and very varied.

We had a bad experience with another home, and when my sister and I came to Corner Lodge, the manager & another lady put our minds at rest and answered our questions & concerns brilliantly. Our family is extremely pleased with all the activities that are put on at Corner Lodhe. The social media page
is a great idea to keep me updated on all that my mum & other residents have been doing. All the staff are welcoming and pleasant to talk to. 5*

Found the home, very welcoming. Constant up date on relatives care, especially end of life care. Everything was in place.
The person in charge of end of life care, was supportive and involved conversations and visits from the hospice team as well as the GP.
Found my relatives care first class, .
Was able to come in and help with meals and feeding, during, protective mealtimes, on my relatives poorly days I was able to come in to be with relative, supporting my relative.
Staff were always polite, and made me feel at home.
I was offered drinks, and was able to have meals with my relative, at a small cost and I was happy to pay.
Meals were of good standard and tasted nice.
Activities, were very good, and I was able to join in with as well, with my relative, with meaningful conversations, with not just my relative but with other residents using the service. Was able, to see care plans on request.. always updated on care plans, and involved .I found the management very approachable

Mum has received brilliant care since she moved in during 2022. There have been occasional problems but staff and management have always listened to any concerns and have rectified them quickly and efficiently. A lovely care home with a welcoming family atmosphere.

Knowing that my husband is being cared for very well by friendly, competent staff is a huge relief. It is very hard to stop doing the caring at home for myself and I am sure family of other residents feel the same.

We are very happy with the care mum receives. All the staff are very friendly, helpful and care about the residents. We had quite a difficult time getting mum a permanent residency here, but the staff were a massive help in achieving this and the support they offered, made it happen and we can't
thank them enough. Thank you for looking after our mum.

My mum has been with you for approximately 2 months and is very settled and happy. Rooms and staff are very helpful and attentive, very clean and regular activities. Could not recommend this place highly enough.

Everyone is so friendly and always looks to be making my gran's life easier and safer. As a family, we greatly appreciate everyone at Corner Lodge and feel so blessed that my gran came to this home.

The care my father receives is wonderful. My dad is always clean with nails cut and cleaned regularly. The food is plentiful and there is a whole range. Drinks (even a bar!) range from tea, coffee, juice, milkshake and hot chocolate. Resident activities each day. Residents go out, activities brought
in. I recommend 10/10. All staff polite and friendly.
