From the moment we are greeted at the front door we realised that we are entering a very special place. All the staff are welcoming and make Longfield a home. The residents are treated with loving care, dignity ( very important) and understanding.
So grateful for our friend to enjoy the comfort
that Longfield offers.

All the carers seem very kind. Mum has settled in well and seems much happier than when she lived by herself in her own home. She loves to join in the activities and talking to the other residents and their visitors.

This is the second residential care home my mother in law has lived in. Whilst lower cost than the first, the care, ambience, staff engagement and overall experience at Longfield is dramatically better. This is a low rise, low density, low stress care home. Lots of space, easy access to secure
outdoor fresh air and great food means I and my wife are completely relaxed leaving my Mother in Law in the care of the Longfield team. Congratulations Team Longfield. You are all stars.

A massive thank you to all the staff at Longfield care home. You not only looked after my mother-in-law you also looked after the entire family. You not only provided excellent care, but you also provided warmth, empathy, and compassion to us all. Each member of staff made Longfield feel like our
second home, took time to speak to us, knew our names and made the whole process stages freer. Each time we left Longfield we knew we had made the right choice, and definitely knowing our loved one was in the right place where they felt safe, loved and take care of.
I cannot thank you all enough.

I've been visiting my sister pretty regularly since she first came to Longfield last October & I would like to thank the staff for their unfailing kindness & hospitality, which I encounter every time I visit. Well done!

My uncle is very well cared for and loved. The level of care he receives is second to none and there are always activities going on. Everyone is always welcoming and has a smile on their face. The manager is always present and always available for a chat.

What a wonderful, homely, welcoming, clean, stimulating environment for my mum. I could not be more delighted with the care my mum has been shown. The environment is beautifully decorated and spotless and the staff are kind, caring and thoughtful.

Today has shown a wonderful sense of community within the home and teamwork from the start and from all of the staff. A wonderful atmosphere was created. Steps were taken to ensure that the event was totally inclusive for residents of all abilities. The quality of the entertainment was exceptional.

Attended Christmas show with my friend, as always he was engaging and entertaining as ever. The staff and residents joined in with the fun. This home is so warm and welcoming and all the staff are wonderful and it is great to see how they interact with the residents, they are so helpful, very nice
and seem totally committed to their roles.

Simply wonderful. We have observed first-hand the 24-hour care given by loving and dedicated staff, as we sit in vidual with our loved one. We are humbled and impressed by the resilience and compassion of staff toward us and all the people in their direct care. We are so grateful for the generous

We had a really lovely lamb roast dinner with our dad on Father's Day.
The food was excellent and the lady that served us was so nice, checking everything was ok.
Dad ate really well which was nice to see.

We had a lovely Sunday lunch with Dad on Father's Day. Lamb and all the trimmings. It's great we are still able to share these lovely memories in welcoming surroundings. Everyone is so kind and caring and compliments to the chef.

Our experience has been very positive. The staff are excellent, and we are confident our mum is being well cared for. The entertainment is varied and looks great fun. The quality reviews are valuable and give us a chance to speak to the staff on a one-to-one basis.

My mum has been a resident at Longfield since June 2023, and I am so happy with the care she receives. Whenever I visit, the staff and residents are cheerful, and there is such a lovely atmosphere. The staff are caring and supportive and go out of their way to cater for her needs. They have lots of
different activities going on, from music to crafts and gentle exercise that can be enjoyed if the resident chooses. Communication is excellent, and her care is reviewed and discussed with me on a regular basis. The meals are freshly prepared on-site and are of a high standard. She sees the hairdresser, chiropodist, dentist and optician who visit the home. She has been able to personalize her room with some of her own furniture and belongings, which helped the transition from living in her previous bungalow. I would highly recommend Longfield.

Longfield Care Home has been my mum's home for nearly three years now. She is very happy and content and loves the food and her cosy room.
All the staff are very approachable, kind and caring. Any concerns you may have are dealt with promptly.
The home is bright, cheerful and clean, and the
activities available to the residents are varied and enjoyable - something for everyone!
