View Full Details of Lyons Court Residential Care HomeOur mum has been a resident since September 2024 during this time mum has been treated with loving care by all who work here. Mum is now very comfortable knowing the carers and staff know her well and her needs. Management are very approachable and react quickly to any of our concerns with regards to our mum.
My Mother in law has been a resident at Lyons Court since June 2023. I have always been impressed by the care she has received. Over the years she has been a resident, her health has deteriorated gradually and her care needs have increased. The extra care she has needed has always been addressed by the home without the family having to raise any issues. Lyons Court is a small home, where the friendly staff know their residents exceptionally well and their needs. The care provided is excellent and my Mother in law is very happy there and has a close relationship with her carers and I do too.
We were very happy with the service our dad received while he was in the care home. The Staff were really helpful & considerate, nothing was too much trouble. We were always informed of any issues of any nature promptly. The staff are very caring very often went above a beyond their duties. What a great care home.
Mum is safe and well looked after but most of all she's happy.
A caring and very personal hone. My wife has settled down very quickly and the care staff make every effort to assist in any way they can. Perhaps more importantly the Home Manager is (duties permitting) always available and very approachable. The whole atmosphere of the home is one of calm and care.
Everything is brilliant the staff look after my mam really well mam always says that they look her she loves them all I find talking to the staff they are very helpful My mam is comfortable bless her at 94 Doesn't complain at all
My son was a resident at Lyons Court care home for a number of years where he received the very best love and care. You hear horror stories about care homes. This does not apply to Lyons court and was treated with absolute love and respect. The premises were always in absolute first class condition. The food in line with a top hotel and if he wanted anything it was there for him straight away I could not forget the place. My son loved it there.
My mum has been in Lyons Court since November 2024. Having visited a number of Care homes we chose this establishment. Mum has dementia. The management staff have been very supportive, and professional when giving advice to move Mum in, that was very useful and took a lot of the stress out. Mum has a lovely room, which is clean and tidy and spacious. It's the small attention to detail that impresses my family. A bath once a week ( they have an electric chair that lifts the resident into and out of the bath. Also a sensor so the water is not too hot or cold) Milkshakes once a day to help with energy. Also, the 'activities' each morning to simulate, when they can is great. So residents are not just left in their rooms. Thank you Lyons staff on my Mum's final journey.
My mum has been in Lyons Court for nine years. She has been very happy there and has always found the staff to be kind, caring and compassionate. They have always given her the best care and have often gone the 'extra mile' in arranging for her to have her hair done or by painting her nails for her. We have been extremely happy with the care that she has always received there and found all of the staff to be very welcoming and friendly. When Mum's health deteriorated they communicated with me continuously and I was always kept up-to-date with all of the doctor's visits and everything else that happened. Unfortunately, Mum passed away recently and she wanted to be in Lyons Court, the place that had been her home for so long. A big 'thank you' to all of the staff that looked after our Mum so well for so long. Thank you.
Our Mother has been a resident since June 2023. As a family, we are very pleased that we chose Lyons Court as her home. All the staff are excellent, loving, caring and friendly. Our Mother is always saying "They are wonderful" and we agree with her. Recently she has been unwell and the staff have made our Mother and ourselves feel that she is safe and supported in all aspects of her care.
I just wanted to thank and commend all the staff that have welcomed my 103-year-old nan over the last two months, she feels part of the Lyons Court family, the staff all go the extra mile to make Nan feel special from chatting to her, baths, cups of tea and booking her hair and nails in, the support and communication to family has been over and above what we could have asked for. Nan's health since being at Lyons Court has really improved, she no longer feels alone, has made some wonderful friends, loves the yummy food which is clear as she has put weight on! She looks wonderful we are very proud of her and to see how the staff have invested in Nan and all the residents is something very special, so huge thanks to you all we really appreciate your hard work, kind and patient natures. Look forward to Nan's next chapter at Lyons Court, you’ve certainly all given Nan a new lease of life, thanks.
My mother-in-law is a new resident in Lyon’s Court. She is 103 years old so a very new experience at a good age. The manager and her team could not be more professional, caring, kind and always ready to help. My mother-in-law is really happy and the whole family are so grateful for the wonderful care she is receiving.
I found it very difficult leaving my home, but the carers here have made it so much easier. Their care and kindness to me have made my life so much easier, and I thank you all. Unfortunately, the food is often lukewarm or cold.
My mum has been here a short time, but the difference in her mind and body is amazing. All thanks to the carers, management, cooks, cleaners and hairdressers. Thank you.
Although my mum has only been in Lyon’s Court for a short while, it is so lovely to see the difference in her, and that is all down to the kind and caring staff, from management, carers, cooks and cleaners. I can’t fault the place, thank you.
I am very pleased to have my parents staying at Lyons Court. The care from all the staff is excellent. They are both happy and settled. The food is very good with both their preferences and diets catered for. The chefs make excellent cakes as and when required e.g. birthdays, etc. They both engage in daily activities and also enjoy the entertainment provided at times. The home is very well managed and any concerns are always addressed promptly.
My mum moved into Lyons Court Care Home at the beginning of July. It became clear immediately that the discussions from the initial meeting with the manager regarding Mum had been shared with the staff and they 'got' Mum immediately. The staff are fab! Mum is treated with professionalism, care, and compassion. She has Vascular Dementia and Alzheimer's and the patience and understanding she is shown is amazing. When we visit the staff are always friendly and approachable and keep me well informed on Mum's wellbeing.
Such a pleasant care home. The manager is fantastic and always available to speak to and takes care of all residents and staff. Would highly recommend this home. Staff are always very pleasant, but it's the manager who makes it with her care towards families, residents and staff.
Thanks to the dedicated staff at Lyons Court Residential Care Home, my mum had an easy transition into the care home and is very happy and settled there. Staff are always welcoming, approachable and friendly. Mum has vascular dementia and is always treated with dignity, compassion and respect and they know her well. We are always kept informed of everything relating to mum and I am extremely happy with the care she receives. A very big thank you to all the care staff and management at Lyons Court for the excellent care and support they give to my mum.
Since my mother has been a resident at Lions Court she has been treated with great care understanding, compassion and with great professionalism. I have been kept in touch with everything that has happened with instant effect. I am extremely happy with the care she is receiving.
