View Full Details of Milton LodgeThis care home is absolutely fantastic they go above and beyond to make sure that my mother is cared for at all times. Nothing is too much trouble for them even asking her what she would like for meals making cakes for her popping in all through the day to make sure she is comfortable and spending time chatting with her. Every time I go in, I'm offered a drink and I quite often like to talk to some of the other residents in there and sometimes I will take my dogs in which is always a hit with most of the residents.
Well what a lovely enviroment for my stepmum, always clean, lovely home cooker food, my stepmum is always relaxed on visits she often joins in with the great entertainment and activities, her room is always tidy & clean, staff are 2nd to none managment & staff are so friendly and approachable they treat Resident's like family which is why i chose this home for my stepmum and four years on she is still happy and looked after what more could you want for your loved ones , Thankyou Milton lodge
My mother in law was admitted to Milton Lodge in November 2024 and from the moment she arrived we were made to feel welcomed by the Management and staff She has settled in really well and we can't fault the care and attention she receives as she can be a little difficult at times. The activities they supply is suited to the abilities of the residents which in turn shows the engagement and enjoyment from the daily news letters we receive. Anybody looking for a carehome that specialises in dementia then we highly recommend Milton Lodge. Thank you everyone
Milton Lodge has a wonderful team who looks after their residents with kindness care and laughter. Always on hand to help if needed when some things need sorted out for our mum. Feel relaxed and at home on every visit and we know our mum is cared for greatly by all the team.
I cannot fault the care my brother and sister received from all the staff at Milton Lodge. The day-to-day thoughtfulness and compassion shown to my brother in his final weeks and days were wonderful. Thank you for your continuing care of my sister.
Mum has been in the care home for 18 months. They have done wonders with her. She is safe, clean, eats well and her medication has brought the mother I knew back to me. Thanks to Milton she has retained her sense of humour and her dignity. The management and carers are amazing. It is one big happy family. I volunteer there with the garden and I feel part of this amazing family.
Absolutely marvellous carers at the home, great management, nothing is too much bother for them. I feel they go above and beyond for residents in my experience and always provide updates as needed but in a compassionate and caring manner, residents are people to them, not a number which has become all too common these days. The manager is great to work alongside and always quickly replies and takes time even when she is not working to help with any matter needed. It is lovely to visit, and people importantly seem happy when you are there.
Mum has had excellent care from all the staff in Milton Lodge. They make sure there are many activities such as games, singing, baking or arts and crafts which help to keep the residents stimulated. There is an excellent varied menu every day prepared by the kitchen. She is treated with dignity by everyone. If Mum or I have any concerns at all we feel free to voice them and they are taken seriously and help is always at hand. The home is well-equipped, attractively decorated and has a warm and welcoming feel. There is a cheerful demeanour from the domestic staff to the managers. Mum is healthy and encouraged in all aspects of her care. Her appearance is very important to her and the team is on hand to help her with her manicures and hair styling. My family feel very lucky to have found this wonderful home.
Staff at Milton Lodge are very caring and look after my mum very well. The food is good and nutritious and Mum has a nice clean room. Mum's laundry is always good except they often do lose clothes and Mum has labels in all. I have no worries about the welfare of my mum at all.
I have been connected with Milton Lodge since 2014 and the residents are a happy bunch of people. Very well fed and kept occupied with games, singing and groups of children also exercising everything that helps to make them happy and as fit as they can be. My mother was here and I can't find fault with anything as staff are so professional and kind.
Sadly, Mum is now completely bed-bound, totally reliant on others to provide for all of her needs and approaching the end of life. The management and staff at Milton Lodge have ensured that Mum has continued to be well cared for and comfortable throughout her recent deterioration and I cannot thank them enough for doing so.
I find staff friendly and helpful and polite. It is clean and tidy.
The resident is happy in Milton Lodge, she feels safe and secure which is most important. Although not the smartest of homes, we feel the staff are caring and helpful and would like to thank them all for all the work they carry out, especially through the COVID period.
Early days yet, but very happy as is my mother.
I am looked after fine.
The staff are friendly and caring with a professional attitude. Clean and well kept. Lots of activities for my mother to enjoy. The staff all know her name and speak to her. We can visit at any time without any problem. We are kept updated regularly and there are regular family days. We were really worried about leaving our mum in a care home, but we now feel really pleased that she is happy and well cared for.
Staff are all extremely friendly and helpful.
The manager and her team have been amazing, Mum was in a really poorly way when she went to Milton Lodge and they have helped her to settle in. Within 3 weeks she is doing better than we thought possible - we can’t thank you enough.
At a time when Mum was really unwell and we were at a total loss as to how to support and care for her Milton Lodge stepped in and provided exactly what we all needed. Their friendly, whilst very professional service has been outstanding. The care that all the staff has shown Mum has been wonderful and she has responded so well to this and in a matter of weeks has shown significant improvements in all aspects of her health and wellbeing. We owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to the manager and her team for what they have done and the wonderful way in which they have done it, you totally demonstrate the "care" in care home which is exactly what we and Mum needed; thank you.
We had to choose a care home for my mum just over 3 years ago. As soon as we walked into Milton Lodge everyone made you welcome. Mum was there for nearly 2 years and we couldn’t have wished for better care for her, so when it came to looking for somewhere for my father-in-law my first call was to Milton Lodge and luckily they had a room for him. When we took him it was so nice to see all the same staff still there. It really is one big happy family. All the staff go above and beyond in caring for the residents and I would highly recommend Milton Lodge, it really is a care home.
