My mum has only been in Mundy House for a few weeks but the difference in her is amazing. All the staff are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. The level of care is superb. Everyone works so hard there but they always have a smile on their faces and make time for the patients and relatives.
10/10. I would highly recommend Mundy House to anyone who is looking for a care home for a loved one.

My dad has dementia and has been into Mundy house twice for respite care. He has been looked after so well by the kind and caring staff that we are now looking at him staying there long - term.
What makes Mundy house special
Is the open door attitude of management and the genuine feeling of
residents being treated like part of a family. I feel I can leave my dad there knowing he will be treated like one of their own and that's the most important thing for me

Mum has been at Mundy House now for two years. She is really doing well. She enjoys sitting at the dining table with the friends she has made, chatting and laughing about how things used to be and is often joined by the caring staff. Overall, very pleased with the level of care and attention she has

Excellent staff and facilities. Take the residents needs and interests first. Very informative from the team.
Premises are clean and tidy
Staff really engage with residents and family
Activities are excellent and well co ordinated
The management team provide weekly updates regarding all
aspects of the home and the resident and has a total open door policy.

This is the first time I came to visit my very much loved friend. We was welcomed with so much love, the staff were very smiley, jolly and was atmosphere was wonderful.
They are very attentive to the residents and nothing was too much trouble for them.

When my mother first came to Mundy House from hospital after numerous falls she was very frail and could hardly walk , but only after a couple of months she was back to her old self and walking again which was all down to the brilliant care and attention from the wonderful staff , not only do they
treat all residents with care and compassion but also to all relatives and friends too , I honestly cannot fault this care home at all .

Can not fault Mundy House, the staff make this care home. They are all so caring and kind. My dad has only been here 9 days but he seems happy.
He enjoys the food which is a plus and I hope this continues.

I always receive a warm and friendly welcome from any of the staff at Mundy House. The residents are well looked after, they enjoy various activities throughout the year, including music, dancing and art. The food is excellent, and my friend has always said how much he enjoys it. I visit my friend
every week, and he receives the very best of care. He is comfortable and happy. The care home is always clean, and there are often examples of artwork done by the residents on the walls. I have peace of mind that my friend is a resident at Mundy House, he is safe and receives excellent care.

I visit weekly to see my friend bringing in holy communion as he can't get to church. My friend is ready and brought promptly to a room where we have a short service in private. I always find the staff very polite, friendly and welcoming. The care home is always clean and tidy, and residents seem
comfortable in their surroundings. The food is good and varied, and quite often there is an activity in progress where everyone is taking part.

Always a happy visit with friendly staff around. Lots of entertainment weekly, hairdressing, chiropody appointments available and GP services as and when needed. Housekeeping to excellent standard and freshly cooked food each day. Highly recommend this happy home.

I cannot rate the caring staff at Mundy House enough. Everyone is always so helpful, always greeted with a smile and you can see how much they care about all the residents and their families.
My dear mum is happy, getting to know the care staff well now and feels safe and cared for.
All her
needs are met and it is so reassuring.

Our Dad has been living at Mundy House since April 2024, his health and quality of life has been greatly improved since moving there . The care team make our dad feel safe, secure and cared for, when we visit him we can spend quality time with him without the worry we had when trying to look after
him at home. There is always something going on for Dad to join in, quite often he's playing bingo when I call in to see him, he also enjoys the crafting activities.
With the care and support Dad receives from everyone at Mundy House it's given him a comfortable and happy next stage of his life.

When I visit its usually over a few days, which means I have the privilege of seeing the staff and my mum at many different times of the day. I always find the staff to be in good spirit, kind to everyone, dedicated, and also good fun! I give them 100/100 for their amazing service!

My mum is not really aware of her surroundings but is more settled and calm and treated so much better at Mundy house than her previous accommodation. I wish I had moved her to Mundy house years ago. Every single member of staff is always happy and caring. No-one moans or complains about their
workload or what they are expected to do. My mum is treated with great care and with respect and dignity. What more could I ask for? Thank you Jose and the whole team.

The staff really understand the needs of their residents.
When my uncle joined my auntie ( a long term resident) at the home, it was a well managed transition taking into account the well-being of both people.
I always feel welcome visiting the home. There is always a cup of tea and warm smile
from the staff and my relatives are happy and comfortable

My mum unexpectedly fractured her ankle while visiting relatives in Essex. Once surgery was completed she was moved to Mundy Care Home so she could be looked after while she required hospital check ups. All staff were warm, welcoming and supportive. My mother is both gluten and dairy free, the
kitchen staff went out of their way to ensure she could have meals suitable for her.

Since mum and dad moved into Mundy House very suddenly and unexpectedly in May 2024, they have been provided excellent care. Unfortunately we lost mum very quickly to Dementia and related conditions in the August of 2024 and all the staff were incredibly caring and supportive of dad and us as a
family. Dad is physically incapacitated but of good mind. The transition of having to leave their home due to him no longer being able to care for mum was very difficult and the subsequent loss of mum even more so. Testament to the environment Mundy House provides is that dad now feels like this is his new home and we too are grateful as a family that his health and wellbeing is much improved under their care than when he was struggling at home. Josi and his team are always ready to assist with any queries we have and proactively monitor his changing needs. The fact the staff, residents and families are so happy speaks volumes.

Our mum has been in Mundy House for around 8 years. Now bed bound but the level of care is still the same today as when she first went in.
The manager, deputy manager and all staff are truly remarkable, kind, caring and always take time to keep you updated on mums wellbeing.
We can't thank them
all enough for looking after mum so well.

It always smells fresh and clean and tidy. Staff from cleaner to management all make you welcome feel part of it. My mum is very happy here. If you have any complaints its dealt with straight away, so no complaints. They try to encourage everyone in the activities to the best of the resident's
ability. Staff are all very caring people from my opinion. It feels like a family atmosphere very nice for my mum.
