Mundy House Care Home

I thought it holds everything I want from it.

I must say having both parents in Mundy house carehome is always a challenge but the care staff always take the stress away knowing the care they both receive is absolutely outstanding. Honestly nothing is too much trouble for any member of staff, the meals, entertainment, general wellbeing are all top priorities to staff, attention to detail is second to none. I couldn't wish for both mum and dad to be cared for any better than they currently are.

I was devastated that my father had to go into a care home, but mundy House has showed me there are some good homes in fact Mundy House is brilliant, They take such good care of my father they respect him as a person although my father has needs to them it's nothing he and my family love the staff from the management team down to the cleaners and everyone in-between, they show kindness compassion, they are just amazing and very happy that mundy House accepted my father. I sleep at night now knowing that my father is in good hands.

Mum has been in Mundy House for 2 years now. The care and attention given to each resident is remarkable. I have never been on a visit when we have not been able to talk to someone about mums, health or wellbeing, she is clean tidy well fed and happy, i couldnt ask for more.

Warm welcome - staff helpful - always able to get Mother-in-law sit down and have a cup of tea.

My wife is a resident at Mundy House and has lived there for about 3 years and during this time l cannot fault this home in any way, senior and general staff are excellent and I feel very fortunate to have my wife residing there

I visit my sister every week and have nothing to moan about. She is reasonably happy being there.

My sister-in-law is there and I go & see her at least once a week, sometimes twice. She is very settled there, and is always happy when I visit. It's kept very clean, and all the staff are very attentive to everyone, I would recommend this care home

My gran has been a resident at Mundy House for 1 1/2 yrs. I visit her everyweek and each time she tells me about all the activities she has joined in with, she especially loves bingo there are also regular entertainers that come and sing or do magic. Gran praises the wonderful staff very highly and I agree, they are always very friendly and kind.

My mum has been very happy at Mundy House She said the staff are all lovely + care for her needs. I find the manager Josi very welcoming and friendly, always finds time to talk to you. He is a good manager to his staff. All the carers are polite to the visitors as well as the residents, kitchen staff are friendly and cook lovely meals. Its a lovely care home.

The carers at Mundy House do so much as the can to entertain the residence and make life fun for them not just sitting and looking at 4 walls and when they are poorly and need moor attention the carers are there for them with loving care and dignity not only the carers its all the staff kitchen staff laundry staff all the way to management. It's not just the Residence they look after its the family as well these poeple are true carers all of them

My wife was admitted to Mundy House on the 11th June, myself and my daughters felt this could be the one to suit her needs. When they showed us round the staff seemed extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is good and they are there for you if you need. The management are professional and welcoming and my wife seems to have settled in really well. Betty has been a resident for two weeks but myself and the family feel we have made the right decision with Mundy House.

They helped us fill out the forms for Pure Cremation, which was very much appreciated in our time of grief

I would not hesitate in recommending Mundy House as a care home.

My dad was in Mundy House Care Home and stayed 1 week and Mundy House changed my dad he arrived with beard unkept and with the help of our lovery home and management my dad was given medication a smart look, shaved and bathed lovery food and has now gone home a new man had hobbies now and enjoying life. Thank you.

My mum has only been in Mundy House for a few weeks but the difference in her is amazing. All the staff are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. The level of care is superb. Everyone works so hard there but they always have a smile on their faces and make time for the patients and relatives. 10/10. I would highly recommend Mundy House to anyone who is looking for a care home for a loved one.
