My mum has settled in really well and I find the staff caring and considerate. She is eating much better now and likes the food. She is also participating in some of the activities which I am really happy to see. The manager is really helpful and accomodating, which has made everything easier for my
brother and me.

My first visit to Munday House, as I live in Dorset. My daughter and I are very impressed with the facilities, the staff are lovely, friendly and attentive, and my father-in-law complimented the food too, saying he was fed well. The home feels very much like home from home, my mum has excellent care and we are always welcomed by the staff. I visit my mum weekly and am happy to help out where I can. My mum does have favourites here but all are very accommodating. Mum has also made good friends in both residents and staff.

I would 110% recommend Mundy House to everyone. The home is very welcoming, the staff are very attentive and always available to help out. The care provided to my grandmother has been exceptional. The staff are very professional and express humility when dealing with her everyday needs. She felt safe and secure in the homely environment created by the staff and was always in clean clothes and had a cup of tea at hand. Her final days were

As a family member, I can't find one fault with Mundy House. Great care and kindness. Never seen or heard any stress or upset. Efficiency from staff keeps residents safe. My loved one is always clean with a smile. Lovely clean and tidy bedroom, meals look delicious. They have sing songs, bing and entertainment
with a lovely garden to sit out in on sunny days. Tea trolley refreshments and safe night watch. Always updates from staff if you have ay worries. Lovely place. Top marks from my family. Thank you.

I cannot fault anything about this care home. The quality of the care and this staff are amazing. The manager is so caring, since this pandemic he has really kept us informed of everything that has been happening. He sends us weekly emails and lets us know how my mum is. He and his staff are always
there to speak to you if you have any concerns or worries. I look forward to my weekly FaceTime calls with Mum and the carer who helps with these is amazing also.

My very caring nurse assistant is excellent, always cheerful and keeps me comfortable! I visit the garden every day with a friend and we are supervised by our carer. I look forward to garden maintenance beginning now spring is here. A great place to relax.
My bed is comfortable and I have complete

The manager and all the staff at Mundy House Care Home do an exceptional job, even more so in the last year or so with the covid-19 pandemic. Staff have also been fantastic and reassuring, especially when Dad had a fall recently, I was kept well informed of the situation.
It's great that the families
get updates twice a week, usually on Mondays and Fridays. And if we have any concerns about our relatives the manager and the team are always there for advice and help.
Not only have they got the residents physical health and well being at heart, but also their mental health too, so important, especially when you live over 300 miles away from your relative!
The indoor visits are a must, and I know my sister and dad are so grateful to be able to get to see one another again, as social contact means so much to the residents in so many ways.
Keep up the fantastic work Mundy House, you all are so appreciated by all of us, residents and families. You are a credit to Larchwood care.

The staff are first class, cannot do enough for you.
Unfortunately my mother-in-law past away this month, February 2021.

My mum has been a resident of Mundy House for over 3 years, whilst having quite severe dementia she also has quite severe mobility issues, the care she has received has been first class from the staff even before COVID times. Since COVID the staff have further stepped up and have quite frankly been
absolutely amazing. Communication with staff is key in these times where you cannot visit your loved one and again this is first class.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Mundy House

Josi George

Job Title: Home Manager Joined: 2004

The Registered Home Manager, Josi George, has a passion for the care of older people, he works alongside his staff to ensure they offer the best in individual care for the residents. He achieved Level 5 in Leadership and Management in 2016. Also, he completed the My Home Life course for the Care Home Managers in 2016 conducted by the Essex Local Authority. Josi also has NVQ level 3 in Management, health & social care along customer care. He has also completed training courses in all mandatory subjects in the past and will continue attending all Healthcare Management Solutions own courses.


Josi has achieved Champions in Dementia through the Alzheimer’s Society and is a trained trainer for Dementia care. Josi has 20 years of experience in care and he has been the manager of Mundy House since 2014.
