The staff at Aran Lodge are so kind and caring. My mum was in safe hands for the last few days of her life. Many thanks to you all.

My husband was taken into Aran Lodge straight from hospital. He was looked after from that moment on with such caring staff/carers. The home itself was homely and welcoming. The food was excellent and well catered for. Activities were good for all and entertainment was always layed on. The garden was superb. I cannot find fault only recommend to anyone wanting their loved ones well looked after. Thank you all in Aran Lodge.

My mother passed this week after just 12 days in Aran Lodge and I would like to thank all of the staff for such wonderful care. She was shown such empathy and attentiveness in her last days and her dignity was restored by each and every member. Such a clean and inviting care home for the residents and their family with the added bonus of Luna the dog providing companionship. I just wish Mum had become a resident a long time ago as I know she would have had a much better quality of life and enjoyed the activities provided and the delicious food ...the lasagne looked amazing. Thank you again, I am so happy Mum spent her last days in such comfort and I had the weight lifted off me knowing she was in such good hands.

Our wonderful relative spent his last two months being nursed at Aaron Lodge. The care and attentive attitude towards him & all residents was truly special. Delicious freshly cooked meals, spacious and clean rooms, daily activities & as a family, we were always welcomed. Aran Lodge is full of love & dedicated staff. Thank you to such a wonderful teamxx

My mother in law was only in Aran Lodge for 9 days for end of life care. During that time the care she recieved was fantastic. The staff were always friendly, extremely helpful and gave answers to our questions in laymans terms. On my mother in laws last day with us, the staff were so kind, considerate and understanding. I would highly recommend them. Thank you for all that you did for mymother in law and for us to make her passing peaceful.

My stepmother has been in the home now for 17 months and I cannot fault the care and attention that she has received. The management put a lot of effort into providing entertainment theme days and other activities. The home is open and welcoming to visitors at any time and is always very clean and tidy. Medical and personal care is also excellent and well managed.

My mother is in the home currently. I've never known a care home of this calibre there so kind , caring and nurturing and patient with my mother , since the first day she was in there until now she has had nothing but exceptional care and compassion from all staff members including management , carers , cooks cleaners and other residents the way this home is run from top to bottom is spotless clean , tidy , and well kept . Would strongly recommend to all .

Our father was only in Aran Lodge for six days, but during that short time the care he received was excellent. All the staff were friendly and supportive to me during my visits and they made our father's last days as comfortable and peaceful as they could be.

Just a brilliant experience from start to finish even though it was for end of life care so the outcome was inevitable. Home could not have been more helpful and understanding, both to myself and my mother, highly recommend

My dad was sadly only with Aran Lodge for 8 days before passing and I can honestly say they were amazing. They treated my dad with respect and dignity, all the staff were so kind and caring. On my dad's last day with us not only were they there for my dad, but they supported us through every stage of dad's passing and I can't tell you how much that meant to us as a family. I truly believe that if Dad had been with us longer he would have been very happy there. So to all the staff that looked after my dad thank you for everything you did, you were all amazing and to Dad's nurse we will never forget you, we could not have got through that day without you.

I could not have asked for more in my Grandfather's last days than the care he received at Aran Lodge. The way this business runs is so different from the industry standard, not only are residents looked after beautifully, but the families of those residents are welcomed into part of a much wider network of help, support and love. Many friends were made and bonds were built for my family at Aran Lodge and some lasting friendships have been made. A network like this is so rare and incredibly important when dealing with complex issues such as residential or end-of-life care. My Grandfather's final few months were made much easier by the staff who I can't recommend highly enough. The sensitivity they showed when he reached the end of his journey was above and beyond. We are truly grateful for everything that they have done for us.

What a beautiful final resting place for my dad's final days. The staff are outstanding. The facilities and rooms including lounge, bathrooms are spotless clean. I thank you.

Mum was in and out of hospital between April and August 2024 and cared for at Aran Lodge in between. It became her safe space and second home. The team there are kind, caring, and compassionate. They were never too busy to stop and talk to either Mum or any visitors and nothing was too much trouble. Our memories of her time there are positive and we know that she will be missed by them - and us as well.

My husband went into Aran Lodge whilst I had a respite break. I was worried about leaving him but there was no need as he was given first-class care. Nothing was too much trouble. The home was lovely and the staff were excellent and my husband himself said he felt very relaxed and welcome. He said he would certainly go into Aran Lodge again in the future allowing me to have a carefree respite break. Thank you again Aran Lodge.

Aran Lodge is a wonderful place. You are always met with a welcome. My wife is comfortable and recognizes the care and attention she receives, she has said that she is indeed in the right place. The staff are caring and kind. Aran Lodge is always clean. I am confident that Aran Lodge could do any more for my wife.

Our mother stayed at Aran Lodge for palliative and end-of-life care. The service, support and care provided by everyone at the home were excellent. The care home provided everything we could ask to give Mum all the dignity and respect we would have wished for during her last weeks. The attention given by all at the care home exceeded our expectations, and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to any potential user.

My mother stayed at Aran Lodge for her end-of-life care. I can't speak highly enough of the care and compassion she received. She was only there a short time, but the way she was treated as a person rather than a patient moved me. My mum was a private and proud lady and at all times she was treated with respect and the dignity she deserved. The home was calm and the staff attentive, it was homely and warm. I was touched to see carers just go in and stroke my mum's head, to reassure her. We had dreaded that final moment but she passed in peace and comfort, all of which was given by Aran Lodge and its angels. Everyone took time with us too. Making sure our feelings were included, we were always made to feel welcome. It's fair to say they made a very difficult time much easier. I will be forever grateful. The residents seemed happy and content and each individual's needs were clearly met. If your loved one is lucky to be placed here I want you to know they are in careful and caring hands.

I was so very impressed by Aran Lodge. They provide the best care for their residents that I have ever seen, I know because my mother was in care homes for 8 years. The level of dedication and kindness shown by the staff is remarkable. They engaged with my partner throughout the day, making sure she had everything she needed. A most extraordinary place, with the best staff ever. A big shout out to the manager - who runs the facility with attention and compassion.

I cannot thank all staff at Aran Lodge enough for their professional palliative nursing and care given to my mum over her last four weeks. All staff managed to reach my mum and give her their utmost comfort and care which she needed so much at this time, out of a hospital environment. I will be eternally grateful for your support and kindness to my mum and myself. The staff understood my mum so well and were able to meet all her nursing and caring needs. Even with such health needs, Mum had some really happy and enjoyable days with you, eating and drinking well when she could and interacting with the activities with other residents which gives me enormous peace. Mum’s needs were totally met and I could not ask for more. The home-from-home environment was so peaceful for Mum and myself.

My mum was given a palliative diagnosis recently and could not be cared for within the home environment, she was offered a place at Aran Lodge which has been amazing from the first day. All the staff are very attentive and supportive with all of my mum's daily needs, she is still able to walk from her room into the lounge which they assist with as she walks using a frame. We are very happy with her room and the care and attention she gets from all the staff they are all so kind, and have the time to spend with her during the day when we are not visiting. Mum has the ability to participate in activities which are reading, board games, television, listening to music, and talking to all the staff which she loves We are able to come and go at any time which is really important as we all work different times during the week, and we are able to take Mum out for visits with the support of the staff. It's made a really sad situation much more bearable. Thank you to all.
