View Full Details of Windermere Rest HomeI stayed at WRH for 9months and I am happy to say during my respite stay the staff were kind and supportive. Always helping with personal care, medication and making sure I had plenty of food and drinks. A special thanks to the manager, and two other members of staff whose warmth and willingness to engage in a bit of chit-chat really made a difference. Thank you to the manager for all your advice and emotional support during this sudden change in accommodation. I looked forward to the activities at the home it was both enjoyable and enriching. I've learnt so much during my stay and especially looked forward to the colouring sessions which I plan to continue on my own. Though I leave with a heavy heart but also with a heart full of gratitude and beautiful memories. I'll surely pop in for visits as I've grown close to many of the residents and staff at Windermere Rest Home. Thank you all for everything.
I have come to the home many times as a visitor and I am always made to feel welcome by the staff and manager. She is always available for a chat and takes great care of all the residents. Residents seem to be well looked after and are always cleanly presented. The home is a bit old fashioned but always clean and neatly kept. Happy with the care overall
My dad was a resident at the Windermere Rest Home, we got on very well with all the carers, cleaners and the other residents. The carers went above and beyond to reach my dad’s needs, making his favourite meals, drinks and desserts but most importantly making my dad feel at home from day one, even made me feel at home when I visited. My dad always very well looked after, thank you to the carers, cleaners and residents.
