The staff are kind, caring and attentive. The original staff are hard working, and at times, new staff members can let the team down, but they are encouraged by the older members.
I am very happy with my mother's care, even though her health is deteriorating. The carers always seem calm and unfazed
and know what she needs.

It's always a pleasure when I visit my mum at Hazeldene. The staff always give a welcome and offer a tea or coffee. The staff are always attentive and give their very best. All the residents seem very happy and well looked after. Although at the moment a lot of building work is going on and the lift
has been out of order, the best provision has been made to all, and a lounge has been provided for comfortable seating. My mother is on the first floor, and a member of staff is readily available to take me to her in a difficult situation. As this is, I cannot fault any of the staff; they give their utmost best.

My mother has been at Hazeldene for two years and has settled in well. Excellent standard of care is provided by all staff who are very engaging with my mother and our family in general. The environment is a friendly and caring which gives me peace of mind, knowing that my mum is so supported and
cared for. When I visit it is apparent that my mother is happy. Mum is treated with the dignity and respect she deserves.

Hazeldene is a brilliant care home. They care for my nan and look after her well. They keep her occupied, clean, entertain her, feed her well, and she's got a lovely room. The staff are lovely to her, kind, respectful, and interact with her, and they made her 99th birthday special. They keep her

Hazeldene cared for my dad for 18 months and then my mum when she joined him. The home is wonderful and I highly recommend anyone who might be looking for a place for their loved ones to look no further. My parents were so well cared for and both had their conditions supported. They were treated
with dignity and respect at all times. We always encountered the same, loyal staff who clearly cared deeply for the residents and saw everyone as part of a big family. The lounges are beautiful and comfortable and residents can get as involved as they liked with activities or just enjoy some TV, quiet conversations and the general sense of togetherness. As a family we have peace of mind that our parents were so well looked after in their final years.
In addition I have to highlight the incredible support the staff game me when my parents were on the end of life care pathway, it was a huge comfort to me and they went above and beyond to support us at a very difficult time.

Always a friendly welcome. Happy resident who always says shes happy there and staff are lovely. I think the food smells great and staff are happy. Its a great care home and we are lucky to have her there.

My mum was in Hazledene Residential Care Home for 3 1/2 years until she died in February. During her time there she thrived. Despite never wanting to go into care she was so happy there. She gained her interest back in life. She never lost her spirit and individuality. Always being given choices and
respect. The end of life care both she and us, her family, were given was amazing and we will never forget it. They gave us lovely time and memories with our mum.

From the moment I stepped into Hazledene I knew this was the place for mum. It has such a warm, happy atmosphere and the residents seem content. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. The two lounges are bright and tastefully decorated, and the chairs are placed to
enable residents to socialise in small groups. Activities are good, with musicians/singers attending regularly to entertain and stimulate residents. Dementia care is very good, residents are encouraged and never rushed.

Hazeldene is suitably adequate for the needs of my sister. The staff are welcoming & friendly. Once the rebuild work is completed, the home will be a great place to reside in.

There is only one word to describe Hazeldene - OUTSTANDING! The level of care shown to my nan is truly heart warming.
Nothing is ever too much trouble, every member of staff is always happy. Whenever my sisters and I have a question, they always take the time with us. The food is fantastic (all

My mother was admitted into Hazeldene Residential Care Home for a short while and then was admitted permanently as her care at home wasn't enough. She needed extra care in a residential home. This met her needs and her care there was excellent. The staff at the care home were superb. Thank you all

Mum has been living at Hazeldene since April. She was reluctant to give up her independence but could not be happier now. Her room is warm and cosy and she loves the food, especially the roast dinners. We are very impressed by the kind, understanding manner of all the staff towards the residents and
by how quickly they got to know Mum's likes and dislikes. Mum likes to observe before she participates and we greatly appreciate how the staff gently encourage her to take part in the wide range of activities when she feels ready. Hazeldene was recommended to us by several family friends when we were looking for the right place for her and we would not hesitate to recommend it to others. Mum now refers to it as her house. Thank you.

So much has improved since my last visit. New flooring has been put in which brightens the place up and colourful pictures have been added to the walls. A newer bed has been provided which means my husband is now supported when he sits up in bed. Also, I noticed the bed was much more comfortable.
I
have always found the staff to be excellent and seem to manage my husband's rapid change of moods excellently. I do however wish there was somewhere downstairs for visiting as it is quite a palaver for the staff having to disturb and take my husband upstairs, when they are so busy, but I do understand space is limited. Thank you everybody.

A pleasant care home where residents are made to feel welcome and at home by all members of staff and of all departments. It is very clean and well run with a good homely feel. The staff are attentive, kind and most professional in their duties. The kitchens provide good plain meals and do the very
best to meet the requirements of the individual. I would have no hesitation in recommending Hazeldene Residential Care Home to anyone having care needs for a loved family member.

Hazeldene Residential Care Home has looked after my uncle for two years now. He was admitted, as we thought, for his last months. The care and attention that he has been given has been amazing and two years on he is now walking and in good health. The home itself is spotless and the decorating is

Our aunt has flourished despite advanced dementia at Hazeldene Residential Care Home. It is a relief to know she is safe, warm and well fed on a daily basis. We are impressed by the daily activities and comfortable feel of the home. We are always met by smiling personable staff.

The care home is very good.
My mother is more than happy there which puts my mind at rest knowing that she is being looked after. Although she spends most of her time in her room, the staff are always encouraging her to get out and meet other residents.
Her room is small but perfectly adequate
for her needs. She loves her smart speaker.
The staff are all very friendly and supportive. I have no complaints at all.
