My friend has recently settled into Rosewood. It is a very pleasant clean and friendly home. All the staff are very friendly and helpful.
The menus are good and special days are celebrated with everyone.

Mum has always been very reserved. Since being at Rosewood she has been encouraged to join in. Mum is much happier and relaxed and participates. The staff are very caring and considerate and its more like a big family than a care home. Mum has settled really well.
The home has a nice atmosphere,
is nice and clean and the residents are well cared for.

I have been very happy with Rosewood this year. My lo settled in really quickly and is content there. The activities are plentiful during the day and visitors feel included as well as the residents. The cleanliness is very good and always very tidy.
The senior staff have clearly been there a long
time, they know their residents, and are chatty and knowledgeable.

Hello I am very happy with the care my husband is getting , it took him a couple of months to adjust, but seems more settled now the staff are very caring and do all they can to make my husband happy , the only thing is I think there should be
more stimulation with the residents but that all
depends on what staff they have free to do that! The home do's have celebrations like Halloween, fireworks night Xmas Fayre and Xmas party and a Pantomime and go out of their way to make these celebrations a happy time , so we'll done to you all and Thankyou X

Rosewood home is absolutely wonderful. The staff are exceptional always there to help. Would really recommend this home it has given me peace of mind in respect of my husband. I was really worried about the home but the manageress Nicole totally put my mind at rest.

This is a fabulous care home, with wonderful dedicated staff. My mother couldn't be better cared for.
I am easily able to contact her and I am always kept informed of any problems that may occur.
Mum is very happy in the home and feels the staff are like family to her.
I have got to know many of
the members of staff while she's been there and feel very comfortable and relaxed when visiting.

The home has recently gone through management changes and they seem to be improving the home itself (new flooring, new lounge area etc) the rooms themselves could be better maintained and cleaned, not alot, but sometimes when going in to see my father the room is a bit untidy.

My mother lived at Rosewood for around 9 months and I was very impressed with the service in all categories. For relatives, I think you would be very reassured by the responsiveness of all levels of staff. I don't see a category for the link to the GP and staff who visited, and links to other
services such as podiatry, dentistry, district nurses and a local hospice. I was very happy with the quality of the room, the quality of furniture both ordinary and care, and the cleansiness. There are smaller touches such as and extremely efficent laundry and very quick response from maintenance. There were age-related activities almost every day with a hairdresser and manicurist on site. TV is available in personal rooms and in a TV room and there is outdoor seating in secure courtyard/garden. In short, everything is "connected up" and "works". The staff themselves are every kind and are well trained. Thank you.

My father in law has been a resident of Rosewood Care Home for three months. The home is safe, with good door security. He has found most of the food to be very good, much better than the previous home he was resident of. We have always found the staff to be very friendly. His health and medical
issues are attended to on time and with compassion. The admin team is knowledgeable, friendly and communicates very well. We have always found the home to be clean. I would recommend the home.

All the staff are friendly and helpful. They get on with my dad despite his very dry sense of humour.
There are many different activities that take place every week and a vibrant atmosphere within the main sitting room

Since dealing with the manager and the Staff, I have to say that I have experienced nothing but courteous, polite, approachable people. Who, answer any query, with honest answers and encouraging feedback.
The stress they deal ,as we can appreciate, with that many people with different
personalities/opinions can be unseen. I for one will be grateful for the care shown to all.

Back at the beginning of May a Brokerage Service were very helpful in helping my sister and I to find a suitable care home for our mother and we were able to arrange for her to go to Rosewood Care Home in Woolston, Southampton. We chose the home, from others that we were able to see, largely because
of the staff . They have been all that we could have hoped for ; the carers are unfailingly welcoming and attentive and the care that Mum is receiving is such that my sister and I are both able to have peace of mind that Mum is in very good hands. The manager is to be congratulated on her team of willing helpers who all create an environment that is truly caring. People are so quick to complain and criticise these days that I just wanted to share our good feelings about Rosewood and its people.

My father has now been at Rosewood for 11 months and suffers with dementia. He took a while to settle and during this time the staff at Rosewood showed immense patience and understanding towards him. At all times I also felt involved and supported.
My father is now very happy in the home and on my
last visit said "they sort everything out for me here it's like being in a hotel and there are always people to chat to".
It has taken a great deal of compassion and commitment from the staff at Rosewood to get to this point and I am so very grateful to them for everything they have done and continue to do.
It is also nice to see that there is a continued investment in the upkeep of the care home, for example since my father has been a resident there has been a complete revamp to the communal areas.

I could not be more delighted with the care Rosewood gives my mother. All the staff are patient, gentle, enthusiastic, professional and kind - an approach that comes from the manager leadership. The home is airy and always spotless. There's always something going on and patients are never left in
front of a TV. They also keep me very well informed.

Rosewood were amazing and certainly had their hands full at times with my mum. The Management were supportive at all times and in every way possible and the Care Team were amazing too. Not forgetting the cleaning and kitchen staff and Activity Team could not be faulted in any way. I will be forever
grateful to them all.
I would not hesitate in recommending anyone wanting to have a member of family to go and stay there.

My mother was sent to Rosewood Care Home from the hospital after a fall. She has dementia and is 96-years old. The care she is receiving is exceptional. The staff are friendly, caring and efficient. I could not wish for my mum to be in a better place and cannot thank them enough for all they do.
Her room is spacious, clean, warm and bright with its own ensuite.

Hello I am very happy with the care my husband is getting , it took him a couple of months to adjust, but seems more settled now the staff are very caring and do all they can to make my husband happy , the only thing is I think there should be

My mother was sent to Rosewood Care Home from the hospital after a fall. She has dementia and is 96-years old. The care she is receiving is exceptional. The staff are friendly, caring and efficient. I could not wish for my mum to be in a better place and cannot thank them enough for all they do.
