With the care that my wife's auntie has received, makes me want to go there when I'm a certain age (if I cannot look after myself or be looked after by others within the family).
Thank you so much for providing such kind words and feedback. It is always a pleasure to provide high quality care to people we support and having a welcoming environment for all.
My friend has been a resident of Rosewood since October 2025. I have visited friends and relatives in other Care Homes and Rosewood is the best Home I have experienced. The Manager and all the staff work hard to make the Home feel genuinely like a home. You can sense the friendly atmosphere as soon as you walk in. It is very clean, has a nice lounge and dining area thoughtfully arranged and good activities and entertainment. I cannot speak too highly of it.
Thank you for your kind and thoughtful feedback. We are delighted to hear that you experience Rosewood as a welcoming, homely environment. Your recognition of the team's hard work, cleanliness, and engaging activities means a great deal to us. We truly appreciate your support.
It must be very demanding looking after clients with dementia but all of the staff are very kind, considerate and patient.
Thank you for your kind words. We truly appreciate your recognition of our team's patience, compassion, and dedication in supporting people living with dementia-it means a great deal to us.
The menus are good and special days are celebrated with everyone.

The home has a nice atmosphere, is nice and clean and the residents are well cared for.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We're delighted to hear that your mum has settled so well and is feeling happier and more relaxed at Rosewood. It means a great deal to our team to know she feels encouraged, supported, and part of our Rosewood family. Your feedback truly reflects the caring atmosphere we strive to create every day.
The senior staff have clearly been there a long time, they know their residents, and are chatty and knowledgeable.
Thank you for your lovely feedback. We're delighted to hear that your lo has settled in so quicky and feels content at rosewood. Our senior staff will be especially pleased to hear your kind words.
more stimulation with the residents but that all depends on what staff they have free to do that! The home do's have celebrations like Halloween, fireworks night Xmas Fayre and Xmas party and a Pantomime and go out of their way to make these celebrations a happy time , so we'll done to you all and Thankyou X
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're pleased to hear that you find the atmosphere warm and welcoming and that your mum is comfortable and well cared for. Our team works hard to provide compassionate support, and your comments are truly appreciated.
Rosewood home is absolutely wonderful. The staff are exceptional always there to help. Would really recommend this home it has given me peace of mind in respect of my husband. I was really worried about the home but the manageress Nicole totally put my mind at rest.
We're especially pleased that Nicole was able to reassure you and make you feel comfortable during what we know can be a very emotional and difficult time.
your recommendation means a great deal to us, Thank you.
I am easily able to contact her and I am always kept informed of any problems that may occur.
Mum is very happy in the home and feels the staff are like family to her.
I have got to know many of the members of staff while she's been there and feel very comfortable and relaxed when visiting.
Thank you so much for such kind words. I'm am happy that you and your mum have a positive experience with Rosewood and the staff.
The home has recently gone through management changes and they seem to be improving the home itself (new flooring, new lounge area etc) the rooms themselves could be better maintained and cleaned, not alot, but sometimes when going in to see my father the room is a bit untidy.
Thank you for your feedback. we're glad you've noticed the positive changes in the home, and we appreciate you raising the point about room upkeep. we'll make sure your concerns are shared with the team so we can improve the consistency of room maintenance for your father.
My mother lived at Rosewood for around 9 months and I was very impressed with the service in all categories. For relatives, I think you would be very reassured by the responsiveness of all levels of staff. I don't see a category for the link to the GP and staff who visited, and links to other services such as podiatry, dentistry, district nurses and a local hospice. I was very happy with the quality of the room, the quality of furniture both ordinary and care, and the cleansiness. There are smaller touches such as and extremely efficent laundry and very quick response from maintenance. There were age-related activities almost every day with a hairdresser and manicurist on site. TV is available in personal rooms and in a TV room and there is outdoor seating in secure courtyard/garden. In short, everything is "connected up" and "works". The staff themselves are every kind and are well trained. Thank you.
Thank you for your detailed and thoughtful feedback. We are delighted that your mother's time at Rosewood was positive and that you valued the responsiveness of staff, quality of care, and range of services and activities. Your kind words mean a great deal to our dedicated team.
My father in law has been a resident of Rosewood Care Home for three months. The home is safe, with good door security. He has found most of the food to be very good, much better than the previous home he was resident of. We have always found the staff to be very friendly. His health and medical issues are attended to on time and with compassion. The admin team is knowledgeable, friendly and communicates very well. We have always found the home to be clean. I would recommend the home.
Thank you for your thoughtful review. We're so pleased your father-in-law feels safe and well cared for at Rosewood. Its wonderful to hear you value the quality of food, the friendliness of staff, and the clear communication. Your recommendation means a great deal to our whole team.
There are many different activities that take place every week and a vibrant atmosphere within the main sitting room
Thank you for your kind feedback. We're delighted to hear that your dad's humour is embraced and that he feels at ease with our friendly team. It's wonderful that you enjoy the lively atmosphere and variety of activities - we aim to make every day engaging and positive for our residents.
The stress they deal ,as we can appreciate, with that many people with different personalities/opinions can be unseen. I for one will be grateful for the care shown to all.
Thank you for your thoughtful words. We are so pleased that you have found the Manager and staff to be approachable, courteous, and supportive, Your recognition of the team's dedication, even under daily pressures, means a great deal and will encourage them to continue delivering compassionate, person-centred care.
Back at the beginning of May a Brokerage Service were very helpful in helping my sister and I to find a suitable care home for our mother and we were able to arrange for her to go to Rosewood Care Home in Woolston, Southampton. We chose the home, from others that we were able to see, largely because of the staff . They have been all that we could have hoped for ; the carers are unfailingly welcoming and attentive and the care that Mum is receiving is such that my sister and I are both able to have peace of mind that Mum is in very good hands. The manager is to be congratulated on her team of willing helpers who all create an environment that is truly caring. People are so quick to complain and criticise these days that I just wanted to share our good feelings about Rosewood and its people.
Thank you so much for sharing such kind words about Rosewood Care Home and its Team. Its heartening to hear how well your mother is being cared for and how much reassurance this has given you and your sister, Your appreciation truly highlights the value of their dedication.
My father is now very happy in the home and on my last visit said "they sort everything out for me here it's like being in a hotel and there are always people to chat to".
It has taken a great deal of compassion and commitment from the staff at Rosewood to get to this point and I am so very grateful to them for everything they have done and continue to do.
It is also nice to see that there is a continued investment in the upkeep of the care home, for example since my father has been a resident there has been a complete revamp to the communal areas.
Thank you for your kind words. we are delighted your father is happy and settled at Rosewood. Our team takes great pride in providing compassionate care and creating a welcoming home. We truly appreciate your feedback and will share it with the staff.
I could not be more delighted with the care Rosewood gives my mother. All the staff are patient, gentle, enthusiastic, professional and kind - an approach that comes from the manager leadership. The home is airy and always spotless. There's always something going on and patients are never left in front of a TV. They also keep me very well informed.
Thank you so much for your kind words about Rosewood. it means a great deal to our whole team to know that our care, communication, and home environment bring comfort and reassurance. we will proudly share your feedback with everyone, as it truly reflects their dedication and compassion.
I would not hesitate in recommending anyone wanting to have a member of family to go and stay there.
Thank you again
Your kind and thoughtful words mean the world to everyone here at Rosewood, Your recommendation means so much to us, and we are grateful for your trust.
My mother was sent to Rosewood Care Home from the hospital after a fall. She has dementia and is 96-years old. The care she is receiving is exceptional. The staff are friendly, caring and efficient. I could not wish for my mum to be in a better place and cannot thank them enough for all they do. Her room is spacious, clean, warm and bright with its own ensuite.
Thank you for a lovely review, it was an absolute pleasure having your mum with us at Rosewood.
