Mum has always been very reserved. Since being at Rosewood she has been encouraged to join in. Mum is much happier and relaxed and participates. The staff are very caring and considerate and its more like a big family than a care home. Mum has settled really well.
The home has a nice atmosphere, is
nice and clean and the residents are well cared for.
Reply from Lianne Carling, Operations Manager at Rosewood Care HomeThank you so much for your kind words. We're delighted to hear that your mum has settled so well and is feeling happier and more relaxed at Rosewood. It means a great deal to our team to know she feels encouraged, supported, and part of our Rosewood family. Your feedback truly reflects the caring atmosphere we strive to create every day.

I was really anxious about the Christmas period as it's my first Christmas not having mum at home with me. Woodheath staff , from carers , nurses, activities coordinator, managers and volunteers all went above and beyond to ensure my mum , myself and even my children had a wonderful Christmas. Every
visit we felt welcomed and enjoyed Christmas activities including a family Christmas party , mince pie and sherry Sundays , and carol singing. I can't recommend the Woodheath highly enough the staff genuinely care for all their residents.
Reply from Lianne Carling, Operations Manager at Woodheath Nursing & Residential HomeThank you so much for your kind and heartfelt words. We know how emotional the Christmas period can be, especially during such a significant first, and we're truly honoured to have shared it with you and your family. Your appreciation means a great deal to all of us at Woodheath, and we're so pleased we could help make the time special for your mum, you, and your children.

I am extremely happy with the level of care that my mum is receiving. The staff are competent, kind and attentive, and the management team's understanding of the needs and priorites of the residents is second to none. Coordination with the NHS to solve a health problem was excellent, and my mum's general
health and mood have improved enormously since she arrived in February, helped greatly by the delicious home-cooked food and the increasing number of activities on offer. Visitors are welcomed warmly and soon feel like one of the family. Housekeeping and maintenance are also excellent, with spotless bedrooms and public spaces and great laundry services. I never expected to feel this confident about the abilities of a care home to look after my mum, but I am truly impressed by both the staff's and the management's commitment to the wellbeing of their residents. Greenhill Park is a real community and a place where everyone can feel at home.
Reply from Lianne Carling, Operations Manager at Greenhill Park Residential Care HomeThank you so much for your lovely feedback about your mum's care at Greenhill Park. We are delighted to hear how settled and happy she is, and how positively her health and wellbeing have improved since joining us.
Your kind words about our staff, management, food, activities, and the welcoming atmosphere mean a great deal to the whole team. Creating a supportive, homely community for residents and their families is central to everything we do, so it is truly rewarding to know this has been your experience.
Thank you for your trust and for being part of the Greenhill Park community.

My mum was a resident at Woodheath for almost 18 months. She settled in very quickly. The staff were kind and attentive and looked after her with care, patience and dignity. Where possible, they involved her in the social activities available which happened frequently. She had complex nursing needs
which were addressed with professionalism and we as a family we're kept up to date on her treatment. Woodheath has a small, independent feel to it which we liked as it made the care feel more personal.

Hello I am very happy with the care my husband is getting , it took him a couple of months to adjust, but seems more settled now the staff are very caring and do all they can to make my husband happy , the only thing is I think there should be
more stimulation with the residents but that all depends
on what staff they have free to do that! The home do's have celebrations like Halloween, fireworks night Xmas Fayre and Xmas party and a Pantomime and go out of their way to make these celebrations a happy time , so we'll done to you all and Thankyou X

After a period of staff changes earlier this year, we feel increasing confidence in Monika the new manager and her entire team. Monika has held regular meetings with relatives ( and residents) to share her vision and has acted on some suggestions and requests arising. Part of her vision was to increase
the range of activities on the weekly programme; adventurous outings to the Safari Park and a Motor Museum have been enjoyed already. The visits from the tots are a delightful inter generational initiative, plus the classical music concert & art are stimulating and lovely for my mother. In fact she is captivated by all the music entertainment.
All staff are accommodating in many ways, for example, we are able to book the smart Garden Room for visitors, birthdays or lunch. The catering team are always so flexible & considerate of my mother's dietary needs (and even ensured there were vegetarian options for me when we had a rare Sunday lunch together with her niece.
Reply from Lianne Carling, Operations Manager at Greenhill Park Residential Care HomeThank you for taking the time to share such thoughtful feedback. We are delighted to hear that you are feeling increased confidence in Monika and the team, and the positive changes introduced over recent months have been meaningful for you and your mother. Monika is committed to transparency and collaboration, so it is wonderful to hear that the regular meetings and acted upon suggestions have been appreciated.
Your feedback means a great deal to us, and we will be sure to share your comments with Monika and the Team.

On the whole the care is good. However there are times when clear requests and written instructions are ignored.
When family feel the need to write instructions on a notice it should indicate to carers that something is not done as per care plan. Common sense does seem to be improving but trying to
encourage as much independence as possible and not doing things for them because its quicker is not good care.
Medication should be given as instructed, otherwise it is not effective and results in exacerbation of condition, causing stress and illness which should be controlled with correct procedure.
Activities seem to be improving which helps to reduce boredom which in turn causes aggression and distress. Sitting a person at a table to wait an hour for lunch or coffee is not stimulating and is very uncomfortable.
These are observations which I hope will help. The carers in general may on occasions be lacking but they are generally good carers who show compassion and genuine affection.
Reply from Lianne Carling, Operations Manager at Greenhill Park Residential Care HomeThank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We appreciate your observation and will ensure they are carefully reviewed with the team.
