Cannot thank the team at Greenhill for the care they give to mum. She was reluctant to go into residential care but realizes its for the best. As she cannot walk and needs care 24/7. They are on top of her health issues. Contacting her G.P for medications and contacting the paramedics if that is whats
required. She has only been here for 6 months but is joining in. Activities there have been a lot of changes in the short time mums been here but hopefully things have settled down now.

Mum has been a resident at Greenhill Park Residential Home since April 17th 2025. During that time Mum has been shown compassion and kindness from every member of staff. Her room is kept spotless + bed made beautifully. The whole care home is very clean. It is a very welcoming place - with plenty going
on. Lots of different entertainment. Mum has settled in so well. Her health + wellbeing has improved immensley. Thank you to all staff.

We chose Woodheath to care for my Dad in the last few weeks of his life as our Mum had received wonderful care at Woodheath during the last 3 years of her life.
Dad was terminally ill. The care he received was exemplary. All of the staff were professional, compassionate, kind and most of all treated
Dad with dignity, especially in the last few days of his life. We cannot thank the staff enough for the care that they gave to Dad and also to us as a family.

I wanted to leave a message to anyone looking for dementia care. My mother was not an easy personality and we worried about how she would settle. In the time she resided at Apple House Woodheath she was treated like one of their family, as was anyone who visited her. They took time with her and showed
nothing but patience. It is a fun happy environment with activities to keep the residents engaged and happy.
My mother passed away there and in her final days the staff were amazing. Thankfully her final days were as comfortable as could be. As a family we thank all the staff for everything they did

This is a lovely fresh looking home that has some lovely homely touches. My Mum's room is bright and kept spotlessly clean. The meals are varied and suited to a range of residents preferences.
The care staff are lovely- they seem to have responded well to the management changes that are happening at
the moment. They work really hard and could do with a little more time to socialise with the residents during their shifts, which is difficult with the amount of care that they need to provide.
The activity coordinator works hard and provides a good range of activities. I appreciate greatly the events that are put on that can be shared with the residents families.
Communication with the home is good ( face to face) There are some relative meetings planned which is really positive.
Finding a good home with a good standard of care like Greenhill hasn't been easy and I am so glad we found it for her.

My mum moved to Greenhill Park recently and so far everything has been absolutely fine. The home is well run, the staff friendly and everyone has quickly got to know mum and are friendly to her.

Mum lived at Woodheath for the last 2 years of her life before she passed away in March 2024. During her time there she was very well looked after and was loved by the staff, just as she loved them. She looked forward to the daily exercise classes as well as various afternoon activities. She especially
loved the trips out. Thank you to all at Woodheath for taking such good care of her and for being friendly and welcoming to us each time we visited.

As I live in Australia it is very important that I feel my parents are safe and well cared for and that they love where they live. Greenhill Nursing Home provides my husband and I with confidence that my parents are being cared for by people who love their job and respect the people they are caring
for.
I have received phone calls and emails and send texts informing us of all we need to know, in regards to Mum and Dad's health and well-being.
The staff care for my parents and ensure they maintain as much independence as possible. Their room is lovely and the fact they remain together in their room brings them such happiness. Mum and Dad enjoy the entertainment, food, and the lovely friends they have made since being there. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. All the staff are responsive to any questions we may have and management has always been on hand to talk to, email us or phone us.

My time visiting Apple House it's a pleasant and welcoming environment with clean and tidy routines, Apple House takes residents on day trips and in-house events are a great help and I'm sure they all love it too. Best wishes to the friendly staff.

My mother has been a resident of Greenhill for nearly four years. She is not the the easiest person to please, however she is provided with a good standard of care. The location of the home and its own garden are good. The level of care is from a team of consistent carers who are regularly checking
on my mum who is bed ridden. Visitors are welcome. The building is well maintained. If you are looking for a home to provide care for a relative I suggest you go check out Greenhill, as I am sure you will not be disappointed.

Woodheath Nursing & Residential Home

from Ben S (Husband of Resident) published on 17 October 2023

My wife is just starting her fourth year as a resident of Woodheath's Apple House annex for dementia patients. From the very first, the management and staff have treated her with kindness, understanding and skill. Although she is, inevitably, deteriorating mentally and physically, the wonderful carers
have never given up trying to bring some meaning and pleasure to her life. Only a fortnight ago, for instance, they organised an outing by taxi and wheelchair to the local promenade, for fresh air, sea views and a meal out. That initiative came from the staff, not from me, and was typical of their thoughtfulness. In short, I am full of the utmost praise for this excellent care home.

Woodheath Nursing & Residential Home

from Catherine H (Niece of Resident) published on 17 October 2023
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

My auntie has resided at Woodheath for over 4 years now and the care and consideration that has been afforded to her has been excellent. She has been well looked after since she had to give up her home when she could no longer look after herself. The activities offered to the residents are varied and
well-planned with schedules shown in the reception area.

My auntie particularly loves the children and animals coming to visit and the photos that appear on Facebook show her face lighting up with genuine smiles and joy. Woodheath is always clean and tidy when I go and visit and it is a very calm environment to enter. The staff are amazing and I really like the fact that there is always someone there that we know and have known since my auntie went there 4 years ago. Staff seem to like working there and stay which is great for continuity for the residents.

There seems to be a very proactive caring management team at the heart of Woodheath which radiates down through the home.

September was my Mum's 80th Birthday month. (Mum has advanced Dementia formerly Alzheimer's disease) Woodheath staff provided the whole family a space to celebrate and share mums "Big" birthday. We were provided with refreshments and on top of us having a cake, the Canteen had made a surprise one for
us to share as well. Woodheath feels like a proper home, not a a bedroom for mum. We find the staff always helpful and friendly and enjoy our visits with mum and regularly chat to other residents, I would recommend choosing this lovely home.

We were so reluctant for Mum to go into a care home but I cannot thank Woodheath staff enough for the care they provide to her. They are so very dedicated, friendly and loving and treat all the residents with kindness and respect. They entertain them, and provide activities and days out. They celebrate
all of their birthdays with a constant stream of cake and fun. The staff have become Mum's new family and she loves them. This is an outstanding care home with outstanding support for your loved ones. They go the extra mile and I am eternally grateful to all of them.
