I was pleasantly surprised to see Belmont View on my first visit. I was struck by how clean and friendly it is. Spending time with Mum I noticed the staff are kind and attentive and the residents appear content.

My siblings and I did alot of research, 'shed blood sweat and tears' as they say to find mum a decent care home. We eventually managed to support mum to be a resident in Belmont View Care home in Haileybury for over 10 years up to 2026.
From the initial visit, we knew this place was different to
all the many others we had viewed; its was bright, fresh, homely..not hospital like.. a real family environment. Genuinely caring team members, who really care about their residents. The care, administrative and management team at Belmont are unbelievable the was they all work together, to offer an amazing service to the residents. Every need is catered for holistically and life at Belmont View is fun, relaxing and so homely. We called it our mums home from home. Sharon, Anette, Kelly, Maria, Gill, Nic, Michaela, Carla, Julie, Denise many more over the years and of course our most special ladies Harriet & Lauren to name but a few of the most amazing people we could have asked for.

Belmont View is excellent - Mum has been in for 2 weeks so far and has made a great improvement. She has been encouraged to eat, to walk and get involved in the activities. The care team are great, always respectful and caring.
The room is comfortable, and Mum is well rested and building her
confidence and strength. Thank you, team.

We find the care mum received is excellent and would recommend Belmont to family and friends. Mum seems very happy with her surroundings and the treatment she receives. She does join in with activities if she wants to.

Always friendly staff. Will answer any questions relating to the resident. Caring attitude towards all residents. Good choice of activities. Residents always clean and tidy. Place is very clean, smells nice.

I am happy with Belmont View, I feel my mum gets good care, maybe she could be stimulated a little more but I understand that she is in the later stages of dementia

Belmont View has a lovely peaceful atmosphere with very helpful staff who are both caring & professional. Any concerns we have raised are always dealt with in a timely manner. Mum seems very happy in the care home which helps me get through the guilt of her having to be in a care home.

All staff excellent and treat mum very very well. A particular special mention for 3 members of staff in particular and also another member of staff who is mainly on reception duties, all go out of their way to ensure that mum is always comfortable, and that we are well treated on visits. Mum has
said for ages that if she has to be in a care home this is the one to be in.

We needed respite care for my mother after a lengthy stay in hospital.
We were impressed on the exterior and even more impressed with the interior. All very clean. Staff go above and beyond to get to know residents and their needs.

My mum went into Belmont View in Hoddesdon after a stay in hospital. Unfortunately, Mum passed away after a few short weeks of moving into the home. I cannot praise the home and the staff enough. They were so kind to my mum and her end-of-life care was second to none. Mum had dementia and was very
confused a lot of the time but the staff were very patient with her and sympathetic to her condition. I should also make a point of thanking two members of staff, in particular, who were also very kind to the family who had a few really bad days due to Mum's condition.
Thank you Belmont View for making Mum's passing easier for her and the whole family.

My husband came into the respite wing for a short stay which turned into a stay of three and a half months. In all that time, he was welcomed and cared for by the staff members. I cannot praise them enough for their dedication to their residents' care.

Mum was well looked after and was healthy and happy when I arrived to collect her.
All her clothes were clean and washed and so was she.
I was very happy knowing she was happy.
The girls were lovely and nothing was any trouble.

I can't thank Belmont View for all the support they gave my father. Staff at Belmont care so well for the residents, giving them their time. Belmont View care home are fantastic not just with the resident but family too. I would recommend this care home. Thank you so very much for making my dad
comfortable for a short period of time.

My mum has been in the home for two months now, and the staff are so caring and attentive not only to Mum but also to the other residents of the home.
I and my wife could not be happier with the home and staff, always on hand if we have any questions; most importantly, I know Mum is safe and well
looked after.

The care home is good and I am satisfied that they look after my wife's welfare and always discuss with me matters concerning my wife.

It was good to see residents up in the lunge together, and they had an entertainer. They all seem to be enjoying the music. My sister and I were able to sit with Mother while the entertainment was going on. It was the first time we have been able to go in and see our mother for two months. It's good
to see that the residents are well cared for and not just kept in their bedrooms.

My mother is being looked after in a kind, caring environment. The staff are as responsive as they can be in today's economic climate. Ideally, there would be a provision of physiotherapy to maintain and improve mobility, but I understand that this and more staff are required would cost money.

The staff are excellent on both caring and on the admin side, very approachable and keep me informed on my mum's well-being.

Belmont View is such a lovely place, I feel very welcome when I visit my mum. Everyone is so friendly and happy to help. I feel that my mum is very well looked after and always smells nice and clean. Even though I'm sad when I leave her I know that she is in safe hands. I would recommend this care
home to anyone.

As my brother was admitted during the pandemic I have not had much access to lounges and all facilities or much experience of activities and food. My experience of the place has been good. The staff are always helpful and though there is obviously a shortage of staff it appears everyone is doing
their best.
