The management and the team are highly professional and competent. They take on a real duty of care and responsibility for their residents. And they do so in a kind and compassionate manner. The home itself is comfortable and cosy. It's a little busy and noisy at times. But on the whole it's a
positive and homely environment. As a visitor I'm always made to feel welcome and I am kept updated on the progress and well being of our mum.

My mother, who has very recently passed away, spent the final eight months of her life as a resident of Bradfield Residential home. Having previously visited a few residential care and nursing homes, including my late stepfather's and mother-in-law's, as well as my mother's previous home, I found
Bradfield to be far superior in almost every aspect. The facility was clean, bright, and well-run. The staff were always attentive. My mother, who was in her 98th year, settled very well at Bradfield. I was always kept informed of any health issues. One huge bonus was the ability to borrow Bradfield's wheelchair van at no extra cost. This enabled me to bring my mother out, something that previously would have been impossible. I wish that all care and nursing homes maintained Bradfield's standard.

My Aunty Joan had to leave independent living in late 2018 and was warmly welcomed into the Bradfield community where she was cared for with love and consideration. She gradually accepted her new life and found the safety and security of the home a great comfort. She was very well cared for and when
her health deteriorated they expert personal support she received was amazing. This is a very special care home and I would recommend it to anyone without reservation.

All staff are very friendly, kind and extremely patient with all the residents, always an activity of some sort in the communal lounge going on when I visit which helps to engage all residents if they so wish, otherwise a quiet lounge is available. The on site hair salon keeps all residents looking
their best. The home itself is spotless and fresh smelling giving a warm, homely ambiance.

I cannot speak highly enough about Bradfield . My mum moved in February this year and from the very start she has been settled and happy there . The staff are extremely attentive, on a few occasions when mum has not been herself or they detected something unusual their prompt reaction to seek
medical attention and keep us , her family , informed has been outstanding.
The staff are very friendly, as an observer it is obvious that they know and understand each resident as an individual . As a sociable person Mum really enjoys the familiar chats and laughs she has with the staff . Everyone is so supportive and helpful , there is very much a "can do" attitude . When it was my son's wedding , in September , Bradfield suggested they assist us by driving mum with her wheelchair to the church , deliver her to the venue afterwards and then wait for me to call to collect her that evening when she was ready to leave , which delighted mum and helped us knowing she was safely back home.

My mum has been in the home for many years and we have always been happy with her care. The staff are well trained and attend to all her needs. We would highly recommend this home to other people.

Bradfield has provided my mother-in-law with a clean, well staffed and comfortable home where she is happy and cared for. In my opinion, after looking at many, Bradfield is the best care home in the area.

I have visited a lot of care homes over the last couple of years and this is heads above any other homes I have been to. Staff are always so welcoming and friendly. The home itself is very clean and always smells lovely. Great choice of food for people that like particular things. Couldn't recommend

Mum has recently been admitted to Bradfield. The process has been handled very sensitively and efficiently by the Bradfield team with minimal disruption. She has been allocated a room with a lovely view and despite this having been a difficult change for her she is doing very well. The staff are
kind and responsive. She has had severe mobility problems for the past year so it has been lovely to see her in a place where she has enough skilled support to be able to get outside. We are very impressed so far.

I have recently moved my mother to Bradfield and what an amazing care home this is.
Every single member of staff is caring, helpful and makes every visit a pleasure as I can see how well looked after my mother is.
She is always clean tidy and well presented and with her food request they always
accommodate her needs which is amazing.
The home is spotlessly clean and looked after beautifully.
I would not hesitate to recommend this home and they all certainly deserve 5 star as they give 5 star treatment to each and every resident.

My mum, aged 96, moved into Bradfield in mid-March. The Manager and staff were very helpful in furnishing her room to make it comfortable and attractive. She is settling in happily and says the food is amazing.

The staff are genuinely lovely and clearly care about the residents. My grandma feels safe and comfortable. Family members always feel welcome and we are kept up to date with everything about her care and wellbeing.

A wonderful standard of care. The staff are attentive and caring with lots of attention to detail. They know the residents' preferences. The staff are always very welcoming to visitors. The atmosphere is lovely. There are decorations according to season. The standard of facilities is very high.

Bradfield Residential Home team couldn't be more supportive of Mum and I. Their understanding of individual resident's needs is obvious. What underpins the understanding is low staff turnover, so individuals get to know one another. Mum's dementia has increased and she can't do sentences much now.
She hasn't been mobile, weight-bearing since she was 94 two years ago. But Bradfield team helped me take her out for a drive in her wheelchair. The liaison with the local primary healthcare team is great too.

My mother has been at Bradfield Residential Home for 15 months now and the whole family including Mum are much happier now she's here instead of her previous home. Mum seems much more settled, happier and healthier. The staff always seem very helpful and friendly with nothing being too much trouble.

All the carers show so much compassion and friendliness towards the residents and it is such a relief to know that our mum is in very safe hands.

The staff at Bradfield Residential Home have always been kind and patient with my mum. Respecting her wishes as best they can understand them.
If there are any problems, they notify us straight away and are watchful for any changes in how Mum is, looking for signs of ill health. E.g. a week or so
ago, Mum was displaying agitation and some confusion and so the manager was very proactive in testing a urine sample, contacting the GP and getting antibiotics for a suspected urine infection. They informed us how Mum was and what they were doing about it and contacted us once the GP had decided how to treat her.
They treat us (Mum's family) as if we are their family. We are always welcome at any time. And welcomed onto the premises as into Mum's home. The staff have got to know us over time and are all very warm and welcoming. The food must be good as Mum is always keen to get back for her meal if one of us has taken her for a brief outing.
The home always smells and looks clean.

Bradfield Residential Home is outstanding for the care given to its residents in the area of Walmer, Deal and Dover, Kent. A beautiful home. A beautiful building. The bonus, beautiful gardens. Privately run by a family who absolutely know what caring is about.
