Marita and her team are kind, caring and compassionate to my grandad. He loves living at the home, he treats it just like a 5 star hotel.

I like to thank Morita and every member of her staff for keeping a lovely home always smelling nice and clean. The food is amazing and everybody is so caring, professional and nothing is much of a problem.

My brother-in-law is extremely happy at Cumbria House Care Home. His health is a lot better now. He would be happy to stay there for the remainder of his life. I can't recommend it enough.

Since my mum was placed in this lovely home, we have all been extremely satisfied with all the superb care and attention that she has received. The staff including the manager are exceptionally kind and have made sure that mum is comfortable, clean & tidy and happy. Nothing is too much trouble. Her
room is lovely and warm and always looks nice. It has taken a weight off my mind to know that she is in a 'home from home'. Thank you to all the staff for looking after mum so well.

Although I do not like being in a care home and would have preferred to stay in my own home, I knew that was not possible because I was always falling over and forgetting things - cooking, cleaning etc. My wife chose Cumbria House and I think she has picked one of the best in the area.

My mother was a resident at Cumbria House for just over a year and we are very grateful for the care she received there.
The home has a very relaxed, friendly environment. It is well lef by managers who are open and welcoming. Care, compassion, kindness and commitment was shown by every member of
staff. My mother was always treated with dignity and respect. The home was always clean and tidy. Families are made welcome at anytime, always greeted as friends and offered refreshments. I can thoroughly recommend Cumbria House for the care of loved ones.

This is a wonderful home, the staff are amazing and incredible. The cleanliness and smell of the house is extremely pleasant. Best of all the management of the home is the greatest of all. I love the home and I am willing to stay here until my dying day.

This is my mother's second care home experience. I would have no hesitation in recommending Cumbria House. An immaculate, friendly care home which is very well-run. She is very well looked after including frequent nighttime checks. There are regular visits from a chiropodist, hairdresser, and
optician. When visiting I have often delayed my departure to listen to visiting singers or musicians, who all seem to be of a high standard, as does the weekly seated exercise class. The carers and the home handyman are all very welcoming and efficient.
My family and I look forward to the Christmas party!

Our family is grateful for the care my grandma has received at Cumbria House. As a resident for nearly a year, we've been impressed by the staff's attention and compassion. They treat her with dignity, ensuring she is comfortable and happy. The team is friendly, and the manager excels in keeping us
informed about her well-being, providing peace of mind.
Her room is spacious, cosy, and well-maintained, while the communal areas create a warm atmosphere. The visitor lounge makes spending time with family easy and enjoyable. Small gestures, like greeting us kindly and offering a drink, highlight their dedication to both residents and families.
We're pleased with the care and environment at Cumbria House. Knowing my grandma is in such capable, respectful hands is truly comforting.

My friend is very happy living at his new home. The staff are very welcoming, he enjoys going back after a day away. His health is monitored very well which keeps him the best he can be in health and well being.

From my mother's very early days of residency, there has been a huge change for the better. The atmosphere in the home is now very relaxed and friendly. All staff welcome me when I visit and offer a cup of tea. My mother is a lot happier, she frequently comments with praise about the staff. We as a
family now feel confident about the quality of care now and in the future.

Attended a well-organised garden party. So much enjoyment seen on the resident's faces. It was lovely to see so many of the staff interacting with relatives of residents. Felt like a big family gathering.
