This is a wonderful care home, mum has been here over 5 years. The all do a fantastic job in caring for our loved ones. Activities are amazing and the staff are cheerful and caring. I will be moving in soon.

Dale Lodge is a warm, caring and welcoming environment which I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place for their loved one. Residents are treated as individuals, with dignity and respect. The Management team are fabulous and the fact that many of the staff have worked there for many
years speaks for itself.

One of the hardest choices has to be choosing a care home for a parent.
As my Mother's dementia has progressed, the team at Dale Lodge have adapted to ensure she is comfortable and safe, working very hard for her and every other resident to give them the best care possible.
I was speaking to
one of the staff some time ago and mentioned the difficulty of their work and questioned if was easier for them over time as people come and go. She said... 'No, it never gets easier as we see them as our extended family'. I think this sums up the level of care, dedication and diligence the team exhibit. It has a family feel, is always very clean and doesn't smell as other homes can.

Dale lodge is fully supportive of my mother. She is very difficult at times but they care and always put her needs first. They call and keep me updated with any issues or concerns should they arise. I am unable to fault the care

We are very happy with the care aunty gets at dale lodge. She is a vegetarian and her needs are always met. Aunty is quite 'on the ball' and know exactly what's going on. Whenever she tells us of an issue she may have we always relay it to the manager and the issues are explained to us. The
activities are always varied and adapted to all the residents needs. Aunty is always clean and her laundry is always done on a daily basis and there is never a smell in the home. Whilst the home is not the most luxurious I realise that the care is more important than chandeliers and crystal glasses well done to the whole team

My mum has been a resident at the care home for a few years and continues to receive the highest level of care. All the staff are friendly and caring and she loves the food. Her favourite activity is when the pet therapy dogs come to visit. She also likes getting her hair and nails done on a
Wednesday. I'm so grateful for the care she receives and can't thank them enough.

A friendly, quiet and even peaceful care home in beautiful surroundings. The staff are very caring. The home has gone out of it's way to resolve my mother's initial anxiety. Visitors are made to feel very welcome.

A lovely home for my mother to live in. Always something going on to keep my mother occupied. On the days I visit I have seen at first hand how the residents are included in a great variety of activities. The staff have always been very good to her. This is her third care home ,and certainly the
very best.

Dale Lodge is a lovely, clean and friendly care home. Nan is always well fed (appraently the food is lovely) and entertained. The activities are frequent and lots of fun. Thank you for looking after her so well.

My mum is happy in this environment. All of the staff are friendly and she always looks clean and tidy. Mum loves the visits arranged when the children and animals come as therapy.

Mum has always been treated with great care and dignity. All the staff are friendly and do their best to answer any queries we have. Mum always says now nice the food is and never complains about being hungry. Cleanness of rooms and lounge area is great.

I cannot recommend Dale Lodge highly enough. From the moment you step through the doors, you are met with warmth, professionalism, and an environment that truly feels like home. The staff go above and beyond, treating every resident with kindness, dignity, and respect, making each individual feel
valued and cared for.
The facilities are spotless, modern, and thoughtfully designed to cater to every need, from comfortable living spaces to engaging communal areas. The variety of activities and events available ensures that residents remain active, socially connected, and stimulated. It's clear that great care is taken to create a vibrant and supportive community.
The quality of care is outstanding, with highly trained, compassionate staff who take the time to understand each resident's unique needs. Communication with families is excellent, providing peace of mind that loved ones are in safe hands.

Mum began her stay at Dale Lodge when her Dementia was so bad she could no longer stay at home. The team are fantastic and the transfer was simple.
Dale Lodge is lovely and clean, and nicely laid out. The activities are really good, mum enjoyed the music and singing. The food is brilliant. The
staff are friendly and caring. The home is small which means the staff know the clients really well. Nothing was too much trouble. Mum was always clean and nicely dressed.
I would recommend Dale Lodge to anyone looking for a care home for a loved one.

When the time comes when your parent can no longer live independently, it is one of the hardest decisions to make to move them into the care of someone else. However Dale Lodge has fulfilled all expectations in keeping Mum safe, well cared for and respected. I have nothing but gratitude and
thankfulness that Mum is being cared for by this wonderful team.

My mum has been at Dale Lodge for over three years. Her dementia has progressed significantly during this time, as have her care needs, but she has always received the same excellent standard of care during this time. It really is like a home from home and I never worry about my mum. The carers are
all excellent. They truly care about the residents and go above and beyond to give them all the love, care and support they need every day. They have lots of activities and special events. This is a happy home. I would not hesitate to recommend Dale Lodge to anyone needing to place their loved one in a residential care home.

We were lucky at short notice to have a lovely room available. Mum has settled quickly and is enjoying the company. The staff are attentive and caring. What more could we ask at this difficult and emotional time?

Our mum only arrived two days ago after a week's stint in hospital. Despite our concerns about Mum going into a residential care home after years of independent living, she seems to have settled in very well. The staff at Dale Lodge have been professional, caring and very kind - showing Mum respect
and giving her dignity. Thank you so much for looking after her, it is a huge relief for all our family to see Mum looking happy and relaxed.

A big thank you to the manager and team for doing an amazing job taking care of our mum's needs. It's lovely the way they all have great banter with Mum and seeing how caring everyone is means a lot. The kindness shown makes me feel very happy and I can see that our mum is happy too. When visiting
at the home I feel I get to have quality time with Mum, having a cuppa and a chat together makes the visit so much more lovely.
