The setting is great, with the bonus of a lovely outside space. All visits, emails and phone calls are met by caring staff who do everything they can to look after my parents.
Lake House is a friendly, well run home. The staff do a great job caring for the residents and always have smiley faces. They will answer any queries you may have to the best of their ability. There is always things for the residents to do if they wish to, in the entertainment area. I am pleased that mum is safe and cared for.

My mother has been a resident at Lake House for nearly four years now during that time she has gone from frustration and being unsettled, to extent of non stop walking around and constantly crying out. Now she has settled and regards Lake House as home - and all the staff as family. This gives me and my family peace of mind, knowing that she is in the best of hand, and being well looked after.
Mum went in to The Lake House for respite while Dad was in hospital. The amazing team helped her settle very quickly and it was so reassuring to see her comfortable, safe and happy. She also celebrated her birthday during her stay and they were so lovely, making her the most amazing cake and singing happy birthday. She said it was the best birthday ever. We are so grateful and thankful
Mum has been at Lake House for 4 years now. She took a little while to settle, mainly due to the COVID restrictions, but now she is well established, well cared for and has lost her look of anxiety which she had beforehand. Before her dementia really took hold she asked us not to move her from Lake House as she felt safe there. The whole family feel she is well cared for by the staff at Lake House and are happy to see her so settled.
I find this care home to be a lovely place to visit. All the staff are great with the people living here.
I like the staff and the company.
Excellent care home. The staff are very motivated and caring. No task to difficult for them to take on. Admin very good and management are very efficient. No complaints about the care home but I do have issues with the wider care question.
Home very welcoming, food good plenty of it and choices. Entertainment for all very good. Overall happy with home. Care for my family resident very caring.
My grandad came to stay at the home in February 2024. The home has been amazing to him and all the family. Food is brilliant, the staff are always so friendly and they look after him so well. My grandad loves living at Lake House, we are so happy, he's happy as that was one of my main worries. Highly recommend.
We couldn't be any happier with the standard of care our loved one is receiving. All the staff are attentive and caring. His room is always left clean and cosy. The food is delicious and it feels like a home from home.
My mother has been a resident here for three years. Initially, she was very unsettled but now it is her home! After breaking her left femur last year, she wouldn't respond to anyone on her ward, or eat or drink. It was decided to bring her back to the Lake House, and her recovery was amazing after seeing familiar faces. The care here is brilliant!
I visit once a week from 10am until 4pm. Sometimes it's noisy with other residents shouting. I like the fact that I can go into another quieter room, at times and watch TV. The staff are very attentive and kind. The food is very good.
Lovely, friendly staff who seem very attentive to the residents. The staff encourage the residents to do what they can and join in the activities.
