I visited the Home today and my son was very happy. My impression is that my son gets a good quality of life, and the residents get structure in their. The Owner of the Home ensures that all residents are treated with respect and many opportunities in their daily routine and she has Governance as a Director/Service Provider. The Owner has completely reorganised the management structure and has ensured rigorous continuous training for staff. My son has undergone a complete transformation in his behaviour since coming to Ashleigh House from his previous placement and words cannot say how happy I am when I see him content. In respect of food and drink, there is an international menu on rotation where meals can be tailored to cultural and dietary needs. May the Owners and Ashleigh House staff team continue the improvements made to the service. I will be willing to speak directly to the Care Quality Commission Officers if they contact me to convey my satisfaction with Ashleigh House.

My son has been cared for at Ashleigh House for over the course of 7 years. The staff have been attentive to his needs and I am happy that he always presents well cared for and always immaculately dressed. He is happy there and is supported to enjoy his daily activities. So happy that he is also supported to attend his place of worship regularly which he loves. The Manager is very enthusiastic in ensuring that our son receives the best of the care he needs. The team should be proud of the job they do.
