Very warm and welcome nothing to much when asked everyone is very cheerful residents also have something ie trips out lots off activities and fun things to do whether it's joking with the bingo and dancing it's such a cheerful place to visit

Amazing always met with friendly staff who are great care givers, attentive and go over and above to accommodate residents needs. There are always a variety of activities on offer for who ever wants to participate. Hygine Is a top priority in Moor House !!!!! Menus always look appetising and nourshing. I'm a regular visitor and take my dog in which residents really enjoy, they love talking about pets they use to have. Moor House is a warm friendly welcoming home and maybe one day in later will be putting my name down for a room .

Moor House is a lovely family orientated care home. All the staff are very friendly, caring and the welfare of the residents is uppermost. I personally would like to thank all of the staff for caring for my dad, who was a resident at Moor House for the past 4 years. I know he felt very safe and comfortable there. Specifically my sister and I would like to thank them for their extra care and support over the last 2 months where my dad was on end of life care. We will miss visiting Moor House, now our dad has passed, but will make sure we try and pop in when they are holding one of the family events. I would thoroughly recommend this care home.

Mum has been a resident at Moor House for the last 10 months, both mum and I are delighted with the decision we made for mum to move in. The care given is professional and very friendly. There's always engaging activities organised and fun outings arranged. Moor House has given my mum a new lease of life, new friendships and a safe secure home.

My father has been here for a year now, the care has been fantastic during that time and the staff have been outstanding during that time very attentive to my father needs and the rooms are nice and bright.

Absolutely love all the staff who are so caring & attentive. My mother is settled & loves living there. Lots of activities which stimulate & are fun with lots of socialising. If I have a concern or need help/advise they are there to chat & ensure I'm kept up to date with all my mothers needs & sharing any concerns they have for her. Since my mother has been there which is 2 years I can relax & not worry about her knowing she is well cared for.

My friend has been staying at Moorhouse for respite care, she has settled in very well and it is great to see her looking so good. All the staff are very friendly and the home is very welcoming with great facilities. I would definitely recommend this care home.

Mum has been at Moor House since September 2023 and I can honestly say I have never had cause to complain. It has truly been a home from home experience for Mum and the family. I always feel so welcomed as do my little dogs. Whenever I have made a request or suggested it has been speedily accomplished .. Meals / menus are fantastic and as I live 200 miles away and I select her menus each week which makes me feel part of mums life. Also I do know what she eats/likes and that is not a criticism but a huge plus. Two great chefs and a team of caring people. The senior carers a d carers are wonderful so caring and considerate, gentle and persuasive resulting in happy residents who are content, and well presented . Fabulous managers and office staff Laundry, cleaning is always of a very hight standard. Activities well what can I say superb imagination and such a variety of gentle exercises, painting, gardening and the list is endless. Visiting entertainment. I am so grateful

Lovely home very caring and happy place . My sister in law is very happy and the staff all very caring. Great entainer todays. We joined the resident for lunch which was delicious. The rooms are bright and airy and clean

Moor House is the most amazing happy place I could ever imagine my Mother in Law to be. We can visit any time un announced and we are always welcomed with a smile. Activities are plenty and very varied and we can also see everything our Mother in Law gets up too with photos on Facebook and newsletter. She always greats us with "I am very happy here" "they" the staff are all very kind! We leave feeling happy that she is being well looked after. I can honestly say the food is amazing to having been invited to a family BBQ last Summer !

Marvelous place, with lots going on, great food and staff. I really recommend the home in Staines, worth a visit to have a look around if you need someone who needs care, could go on and on if you want but do have a look.

Great care home, with very polite and friendly staff. I have seen many positive changes in the home recently. I would definitely recommend Moor House Care Home to others. Residents always appear happy.

When family roles are reserved, it's devastating. That's what happened to my mother and I last year, a home had to be found. Moor House was recommended to me. The manageress was very helpful about the move as my mum was coming from the county council. The home had a lovely atmosphere, small, cosy, light and airy with a pretty garden, of course, my mum was furious, but with the help of happy, smiling staff, she soon settled in. The entertainment ladies are brilliant, the effort they put in to keep the residents occupied is amazing e.g visits to the garden centre, small country walks, parlour games and arranging many musical performances, singing all the old songs. Pamparings hair, nails, chiropody, dental care and GP visits for all. Not forgetting the brilliant chef! A truly wonderful team.

Finding Moor House has been a blessing. My mum moved into Moor House in September 2022 and she found a loving and caring family there. All the staff is absolutely amazing: they are competent, professional and truly care for the residents. Being Italian, my mum's use and understanding of the English language has never been great and her suffering from dementia didn't make it any better. Despite that, the entire staff went above and beyond and my mum felt the love and care from everyone there. Entertainment is great and I've been amazed on what my mum was able to do and how much fun she had doing the various activities. The building and facilities are top notch as well. It's simply an outstanding place where you can rest assured your loved ones are in safe hands.

The staff can never seem to do enough to care for all the residents. They are always cheerful working tirelessly to create a caring, friendly and welcoming environment. I would have no hesitation in recommending this care home and my mum is very happy as a resident.

My mother has been in Moor House since June 2022. This is the most wonderful care home. All the staff are caring and kind in their duties with the residents and their families. I cannot praise highly enough. My mother who has dementia is involved in activities and is stimulated with the other residents and staff all taking part in daily games, entertainers and quizzes. My mother is the most precious person to me and I am reassured and safe in the knowledge that Moor House is outstanding in its care and activities for mum.

On every visit, the care provided has been excellent. There are activities always available at an appropriate level. My mother is very happy with her choice and is settled well into her new home. The staff are attentive and show genuine concern for her wellbeing and care. The home is well run and maintained.

Mum first went to Moor House for respite care following a hospital stay, and was immediately made welcome. She very quickly felt very comfortable and cared for. The staff took time to tend to her needs, and it was a simple decision for her to become a permanent resident when it was clear that a return to the family home was not viable. Friends who visited her at Moor House were impressed by how well she was being looked after, and as a family, we were very confident that living at Moor House was the best decision that could have been made for mum’s safety, care and well-being. Activities were numerous, varied and frequent, and included trips out, interesting visiting speakers and many different sessions of carpet bowls, quizzes, flower arranging and bananagrams. After being very restricted in social interaction during lockdown, Mum enjoyed just over 6 months at Moor House until she passed away. We could not recommend Moor House highly enough.

Our family have been delighted with the welcome our Mum has received this last year, at Moor House. We feel she has joined a family, and the fears we had her leaving her home, have been allayed. The warm and welcoming atmosphere has enabled her to settle in easily and to begin to enjoy life. The communication we have with all the staff is very good, and their readiness to listen to any concerns we have and act on them is very reassuring. Moor House, itself, is a lovely facility, in a beautiful setting, it would, however, benefit by being updated in parts, such as the resident's bathrooms. Under the current situations, the staff have done a magnificent job keeping the resident's spirits up with the ongoing organisation of a variety of activities and assisting the families to keep in touch with their loved one with photos, video calls and regular updates to how they are. We are incredibly grateful to them all for caring for our Mum, going above and beyond.
