I have visited many care homes in the past,and would just like to say how wonderful the staff are here,also the cleanliness of the whole establishment is outstanding. I visited a friend here and was very impressed with the whole set up.

My ex step Mother passed away peacefully on Friday 12th December. She was 96 years old and had two carers with her. She had been in Stanecroft for over 4 years. ALL the staff have been fantastic. This goes from the kitchen staff, cleaners, handyman, carers. Accounts department and the management. I
would recommend this care home to anyone. On top of the usual day/ night care they have an activities every day. Trips out. Even an in house hair dresser. A Big Thank you

My Mum has resided at Stanecroft for the last 3 years and sadly this week passed away.
I can honestly say that they have provided my Mum with the utmost care and support during her time with them and in the past few weeks leading up to her passing have shown nothing but respect and love to not just
her but to us, her family.
We will miss the whole team that Emma successfully leads and our heartfelt gratitude to the carers who go above and beyond looking after the residents.

The dignity and respect that the staff at Stanecroft show towards our Mum is wonderful!! It makes us smile to see her so happy and settled into her new home and way of life. It was such a big change for her and us as a family, but made so much easier and so personal by the kindness, care and support
from all of the staff. We are always greeted with happy smiling faces and with positivity and understanding. It is a very inclusive environment with so much going on for the residents and time for them to enjoy activities and social gatherings in a safe and supportive way. Everybody is very approachable and so lovely to be able to visit our mum, at any time. When we have made requests, they are actioned very promptly and always feel the door is open for us. We feel our mum is being taken very good care of. Thank you to all the staff that make this happen.

Absolutely amazing! Mum has been in Stanecroft since March 2025 and she has settled in beautifully all thanks to the wonderful staff and environment. The home is all on one floor, very open and residents are in units. It's like home when I visit. The care team make me feel like I am part of the
family. Mum is so happy here. She gets on so well with the staff and they genuinely all love her. It's a hard decision to make when a parent has to go into care but honestly the manager, Admin and carers and her amazing team made the transition so seamless. Thank you Stanecroft for taking the best care of my mum.

We were so fortunate to have Dad at Stanecroft after weeks of searching for a suitable place. They are experts when it comes to dementia and he settled quickly and was very comfortable.
For me, the people there are a cut above the rest. They just treat patients like family. It's very heartwarming
to have such an engaged group of caregivers for your loved one.
I'm very pleased and grateful for our experience with Dad, and would be happy to fully recommend them to anyone thinking of them as a care home in the Dorking area

The whole team at Stanecroft are amazing! From the very first minute my aunt arrived, the care they showed, and the support they gave, enabled her to enjoy life whilst living with Alzheimer's disease. During her stay of almost 3 years, she developed new friendships and frequently told me how much
she 'loved it' at Stanecroft. Their activities programme, and outings, allowed her to socialise with others. The management and care staff kept me well-informed at all times. Knowing that my aunt was happy, safe, and well cared for, relieved so much of the worry that comes when caring for with someone with this horrible disease. I highly recommend Stanecroft.

I cannot speak highly enough of the care my sister received, for almost three years she was a resident at Stanecroft. All the staff are so compassionate, helpful and fun. My sister enjoyed the variety of entertainment offered in the Day Room. The residents' diet and presentation of food is
excellent. She was so much happier at Stanecroft than what became a struggle for coping at home. Stanecroft for the residents becomes more than a home, it becomes their home. Sadly my sister has now died, but thank you to everyone for all your care and supporting the family too.

My dad went into Stanecroft Care Home for respite care beginning of September 2024, he has never been in a home before and he settled very quickly, the staff make this home, nothing is too much trouble, they are friendly and caring with all of the residents. My dad has decided that he wants to stay
permanently now and he can't speak highly enough of the place and mostly the staff. They are all so kind to the residents, it means the residents' families can relax knowing they are in safe hands. Thank you to all the team for your help with settling Dad in, you are really appreciated.

Mum has been living at Stanecroft since 2018, Mum is very happy and well cared for. From management, carers and domestic staff, they are all kind, compassionate and caring. Mum's key worker is exceptional she is truly amazing the rapport and love she has for Mum are admirable.

My grandmother has lived at Stanecroft for almost a year and moving her there has been the best decision for her welfare. Grandma has really flourished since moving to Stanecroft. She is safe, happy and stimulated. Gone are the days of her staring at 4 walls or sleeping the day away, she is now
active and involved in the many events and activities on offer at Stanecroft. She has friends, company and stimulation. The staff at Stanecroft are excellent. Kind, caring and so obviously fond of all the residents. There is no apparent 'us and them' between the staff and the residents; they are one big family and I could not feel more confident and reassured that my grandmother is in the best place!

Mum has been in Stanecroft for nearly 2 weeks. The manager showed us around and it is very clean, bright and spacious. The staff are very happy and helpful, her room looks over gardens. I’ve been into home today to blow dry Mum's hair, she was very cheerful and having a laugh with the staff. She is
enjoying the activities and seems happier than when she was at home. Having company all day is good for her.

Staff are always happy and helpful. Nothing is ever too much to ask. My grandmother is finding it a little difficult to adjust, having some days where she is upset and the staff take the time to talk to her and make sure she is settled and ok. We pop in and my grandmother is always clean and looking
her best. There is a great range of activities for them to get involved in which is lovely to get them communicating with other residents.

From my first contact with the Stanecroft care home team, they were very friendly, reassuring and took time to answer my questions. Mum settled in quickly which was definitely helped by the warmth and individual care shown by all the team. Some highlights - Mum has enjoyed the meals, putting on
weight. The trips Mum has been on sound awesome - I wish that I could have attended them too. The home is relaxed with some very nice touches such as animal visits. I am very grateful for the warmth and care that you have shown Mum and being so nice when I have turned up to see Mum at random times. Many thanks!

Our mum of nearly 98 years of age, she was a resident at Stanecroft Care Home for over two years, she was so well cared for by all the staff, who were so caring and kind. Mum enjoyed all the food and gained weight, which the staff always kept us informed of, as with any additional medical needs. Mum
especially enjoyed her coffee that the staff made especially for her. Mum also loved all the activities, dancing especially, singing to all the old songs. Mum made many friends at Stanecroft, whether it be staff or residents. This is a fantastic care home which gives 100% care and support to their residents and makes it feel like home from home. Thank you to all the staff that gave such wonderful support and care to our mum, we are so grateful to you all.

My mum recently took up residence at Stanecroft Care Home. My mum smiles again, laughs and has a calmness that is so endearing to see. My mum is so happy to be in a home that makes her feel like she is part of a family, the Stanecroft family. A big thank you to all the staff and carers at Stanecroft

My sister-in-law has dementia and has been living in Stanecroft Care Home for just over a year and is very happy. She likes the staff, the food and her room.
I have found the staff are very kind, caring and professional at all times. Overall, I don't think we could have found a care home better
suited to her needs.

Stanecroft cared for our Grandad for just over a year and did an excellent job. The layout of the home is bright and welcoming, easy for residents to navigate and helps residents to feel as if it is their own home. The staff go above and beyond to get to know the residents and support them with
their needs. Our grandad was always well looked after and enjoyed the food and activities, particularly the musical entertainment. Due to his Alzheimer's, he would not have been the easiest man to look after, but the team did an excellent job of helping him to wash and dress each day and encouraging him to take part in the activities. The additional thoughtfulness of giving us space to have a birthday party for him and the care, compassion and attention they showed him did not go unnoticed, and we will always be grateful for the care they provided.

My mother arrive 4 weeks ago, the care, patience and help all the staff have given my mother is unbelievable, not only helping my mother but myself, my brother and my nieces to navigate the health care system.
In four weeks my mother has gained weight and been involved in more activities than she
has done in years. With all the wonderful staff caring and encouraging her to get involved in arts and crafts to music therapy. Her health, happiness and safety have been such a worry, but now she is healthy happy and safe.
Thanks all to the staff at Stanecroft.
