View Full Details of WhitebourneDad became a resident in October following respite and hospital. He appears to have settled after a tough start. Staff are friendly, attentive and keep us up today with dads care needs. They encourage him to join activities and eat in the dining room but often he declines as he likes to be on his own. The food is amazing and we are offered a Meal if we are there visiting at the time.
I can only express my pleasure for the support of my mother, the staff provides high degree of care, the management keeps me well informed on any situation that arises, which gives my family great comfort knowing they have my mother best interest at heart. Please pass on my thanks to your staff
We continue to be satisfied with the care provided at Whitebourne. The friendliness of all the staff is second to none and we highly appreciate the care quality in what we imagine can be difficult circumstances at times. We particularly highlight the cleanliness of the home .
The staff have always been very kind and caring. They recently supported my mum though the death of her husband and have really gone the extra mile to support us as a family too. Particular staff have taken great care to enable her to understand what has happened and are always available to her.
My mum has only been in whitebourne since August 2025. Since arriving there she has improved immensely. In the last care home she never left her room or spoke to anyone other than staff. Here she leaves her room to eat her food has taken part in a couple of activities and her mobility has come on leaps and bounds. I unfortunately live too far away to visit each week, but am kept updated about mum. The staff will always find the time to talk to me if I have any queries. Mum is in a safe environment and well looked after, for this I will always be very grateful. Thank you .
From the minute you walk through the front doors you are warmly welcomed. Every member of staff is approachable, supportive and kind. As a relative of a very loved resident and fighting a "guilty conscience" it is certainly the hardest but best decision myself and family have made. I have been told on more than one occasion "remember we are here to support you as well". Well done everyone
Whitebourne has a very high standard is of the very best the manager and team leaders and the carers are gold standard always willing to answer questions and very kind to all the residents the food served is well balanced and nutritious.
Staff are lovely, very friendly and helpful I love coming here and my husband is happy, which is the main thing. Have had a lot of things go missing but I know it's very difficult, overall I love coming, I love the residents also and have made lots of friends.
Very pleased how well my relative has settled in, enjoying the socialising and events. Her biggest comment is that she is having fun and enjoying it, which is everything we could hope for.
All of the staff are wonderful every single member of the team- nothing is too much trouble- any issues are resolved quickly.
All the staff are genuinely caring and supportive. Nothing is too much trouble. If I had to go into care myself would love to come here.
The level of care the team offer is extraordinary. Staff are so caring and compassionate; gentle and kind with the wellbeing of residents being paramount. My grandmother is always clean and her accommodation tidy, she is very happy here. The staff as a whole are a credit to Care UK, and I am convinced that if she were not so cared for and loved, she may not be with us now.
If I ever need to be in a home I would like it to be this. My mother gets exceptional care and love from the staff - no matter what day or time I visit she always looks clean and happy, and her room is always very clean. The food she gets looks good enough to eat.
My nan has settled really well in Whitebourne. The experience has been amazing. All staff and management are wonderful and communicate really well. I cannot thank them enough for everything they do.
I have found that, since my father has been at Whitebourne, the staff, especially the team leaders, have been wonderful - very caring and attentive, and nothing is too much trouble. I can't thank them enough for their care and support. My father is treated with dignity and respect.
I was here for one week and found all the staff really nice, always smiling and ready to help.
When I visit Mum, she is always happy. I love the way the staff are with the residents. Lots of smiles and attention. There is a happy buzz in the dining room. I leave knowing that she is safe, happy and well.
My experience of this care home is very favourable. The general age of the people indicates a high proportion of mental illnesses i.e. dementia is prevalent, however the staff are well-equipped to care for them. The food and the catering is excellent, 3 meals per day and a good variety is available. There is a good selection of activities i.e. trips to local supermarkets and the beach and also a summer fete was very successful.
My mum recently moved into Whitebourne, prior to her moving in she spent several days feeling the environment to make sure she was comfortable with all the surroundings and facilities. I can only say that the staff and management are absolutely fantastic, committed and warm to all my mum's needs and the level of care has not dropped with my family being welcomed with warmth and management available at all times. To sum it up, my mum is a happier person and enjoying life again! Thank you.
This care home is a wonderful place for the elderly. My mother-in-law has been in Whitebourne just over 4 years and when my mum needed a care home I was in no doubt that this was the place for her. The staff are attentive to both residents and their family members. They are always happy and willing to help. This, I'm sure is largely due to the excellent management team. The manager is always around and greets all residents and guests with a smile, nothing seems to be too much trouble. All care homes should be like Whitebourne.
