View Full Details of Ashley GardensI am very happy with the care my mother receives. I know she is happy, safe and well cared for and mentally stimulated. The staff are lovely, and when I visit, I feel as though I am part of an extended family. It was a massive decision for me to place mum in care, but I know she is in the right place and that I could never give her the care she now requires; that Ashley Gardens gives her. I am very grateful to all the staff for the love and care Mum receives.
My mother is very happy to be living in Ashley Gardens and love all the activities they provide for all the residents. We were so lucky to have found such a perfect place just as the care homes opened after Covid. The staff are always so welcoming and have become mum's extended family. Mum is always clean, always have lovely food, always loved. Thank you to everyone at Ashley Gardens who have made mum very happy and content in lovely surroundings.
My mother has been in Ashley Gardens since October 2024 and we couldn't ask for better care for her. All the management and staff are very caring to residents and make the families very welcome at all times involving them in regular events and activities. All the residents are able to take part in activities such as exercise, singing, quizzes and crafting morning and afternoon seven days a week. Families are updated on a regular basis about any health issues. When my mother was admitted to hospital earlier this year the Manager and other carers kept in touch with the hospital to get regular updates on her condition and welcomed her back when she was discharged. Since then the staff have helped her to improve her mobility and health. Residents receive regular health checks. They make sure that residents have healthy well balanced meals, fruit and fluid intake is monitored.
My mum has been living at this care home for some time now, and we've been very happy with the care she receives. The staff are always friendly, kind, and genuinely caring - it's clear they treat residents with respect and compassion. The facilities are clean, well maintained, and provide a comfortable environment. The food is also very good, with a nice variety of meals. My dad visits my mum regularly and is always warmly welcomed by everyone, which means a lot to our family. We feel reassured knowing she's in such a supportive and caring place.
All the staff have a very positive approach when dealing with the residents. They are very attentive of their needs and are very caring. The food served in the dining hall is of a high standard and the lounges are clean and well lit and aired. The movement and music sessions help to keep everyones spirits up which means everyone is happy.
My Mum with Dementia was so unhappy and cried every day until she moved into Ashley Gardens. She is now like her old self again, laughing once more and loves to feel a part of the community they have at the home. I couldn't have asked for a better place for my Mum to live. The staff are all excellent and go above and beyond for the people in their care and the family and friends of the people in their care. If you are in any doubt before placing a loved one in care, visit Ashley Gardens and see for yourself what a lovely vibe there is on arrival.
My dad went into Ashleigh Gardens in February this year, aged 96. We could not have asked for anywhere better for my dad to be living in his remaining years. He has settled in without a problem. The accommodation is lovely, very clean and bright. Dad's room is lovely, everything he could need. But above all this the Staff, every single one has been excellent with dad's care, there have been a couple of testing times, but they have excelled, and his medical attention has been top-notch. His welfare and mental comfort and happiness have been taken care of. My mum and I have been so grateful for the living care dad has been shown. Highly recommend.
