View Full Details of Crest House Care HomeWe had to place my mum in emergency respite and the manager and deputy were so helpful and supportive. Since then, Mum has become a permanent resident. All the staff are warm and kind, and take an interest. They are respectful at all times and this does make a difference. They make me feel welcome too and are good at communicating information. The food is home cooked and excellent which has meant Mum's appetite has improved. I would recommend Crest House to others.
The all-round service, care and support for my father has been excellent. I am so happy he is here. The staff are wonderful and I would recommend anyone with an elderly parent needing full time support to consider this home.
A homely environment with caring staff and lovely residents. A friendly, upbeat, but gentle atmosphere. A hotel by the sea with support and thoughtful attention towards the residents. Attention is given to each person's needs and interests. Entertainment is excellent, very organised, clean and tidy with individual rooms providing the experience of a bedroom of one's own. Residents treated with dignity & respect. Hospitable to visitors.
My father has been in and out on Resbite for a couple of years, and now lives here permanently. Everyone has always been nothing but helpful and kind, its always been warm, clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend for anyone seeing their services.
My mum has been a resident of Crest House for just over 2 years and I couldn't be happier or more confident in the amount of care she gets. She is very disabled, arthritic and suffers from dementia so is very dependent on them. Being a small home there seems to be a level of intimacy - a real homely family atmosphere about it. The carers are always cheery when I visit, they seem genuinely happy to be there which is quite apparent in the low turnover of staff. The food is fresh and smells amazing. I am so grateful to each and every one of them
I have left reviews in previous years, all finding Crest House Care Home to be an excellent care home for my 97 year old aunt, who sadly passed away this month, at Crest House. She had been a resident since spring 2019. I just wanted to leave a final review, endorsing my previous praise for the care home and staff. My aunt could not have been in better hands. I have no hesitation in recommending Crest House as a homely establishment, staffed by kind, professional people, who treated my beloved aunt with dignity and compassion.
The staff at Crest House have been absolutely marvellous! My father became a resident in late January and ever since then he has always said how happy he is there and how well he is looked after. Nothing is ever too much trouble and the staff are always friendly and welcoming when I visit. As well as this, Crest House is always immaculately kept, the quality of the food is superb, and I'm always seeing that many different activities are arranged to keep everyone active and entertained. I'd have no hesitation in highly recommending Crest House to anyone who is in need of their top-class care and support.
Good.
I like the idea of it.
I feel better that my Mum is here. They look after her day and night. The staff are all lovely.
My mother has been residing at Crest House for a few months. I cannot recommend the home enough. The staff are brilliant and the home feels like a home rather than a clinical establishment. I did visit a few and Crest House ticked all my boxes for mym mother's care and welfare.
At my time visiting my friend at Crest House the staff were very kind and helpful. They even seated me and my friend in one of their lovely conservatories where they gave us a cup of tea each and a biscuit or two. My friend always has a hot meal every day, seated in the newly decorated dining room and can make friends over dinner. My friend has got a very modernised room with a great view overlooking Hastings with the hill tops in the background. Overall I am writing this review because I, and my friend who lives there, are very happy with the level of care that is provided and the friendly staff and management.
Our mum was a resident at Crest House for one year. She unfortunately suffered from dementia, resulting in eating problems and although usually happy, was very stubborn and if she didn't want to do something she wouldn't do it. The care, gentle kindness, support and encouragement were second to none. She had a lovely ground floor room. She was fully mobile, so able to join in with the daily activities, especially the music and dancing. The thought given to encouraging residents to enjoy the things they like best was, again, second to none. There is a beautiful residential garden across the road, which she spent many hours enjoying. Crest House is a small, homely, loving environment. We, the family, are so grateful Mum was there, especially during the last month of her life, they looked after her so tenderly with love, dedication and expertise and went above and beyond (holding her hand and singing her favourite song to her) and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this lovely home.
Words alone can't describe my latest stay here. All the staff were lovely, from the lady manager and her lovely assistant through to all the carers - day and night, not forgetting kitchen staff/carers, and that is what they all do - care. As this was my second visit for respite everyone including the residents I met last year treated me with love and as if I was a permanent resident. Thank you everyone.
My father is very happy at Crest House. The manager is absolutely wonderful and her team has made my dad feel so well looked after. It's a beautiful clean home, with a great social programme, he is always trying new things, even still life drawing. We were always worrying about his weight, but he loves the food and the chef has always catered to some of his fussier requests. We couldn't recommend the home more highly.
Very nice.
Very happy with all services.
All the staff were caring, helpful and kind. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Food was varied, plentiful and delicious. Room was bright, comfortable and clean. The ten days I spent there was a very pleasant experience and I would not hesitate to recommend the home to anyone else.
Before entering Crest House Care Home, a friend (who recommended Crest House) said it was like a five-star hotel. Very true. All the staff were unbelievably helpful. I never once felt any embarrassment when they attended to my personal needs. The catering was very good, thank you. I can't think of any way to fault the place or staff. Entertainers and exercise visitors were very good. I would not hesitate to use Crest House in the future.
I visited Crest House Care Home on a weekly basis for almost a year. I cannot commend the staff highly enough. They were attentive, kind and always enthusiastic! The care my mother received was second to none and they were as thoughtful with her family as they were with her as a resident. Covid was a trying time for everyone but you still got a smile whenever the door was opened....even if you couldn't see it properly you could hear it in their voice and see it in their eyes. It was always scrupulously clean throughout and all the residents were happy. I can honestly say my mother could not have been in a better place.
