First class care home, my Mother-in-law is very happy and well looked after by excellent staff, all staff are always very welcoming when we visit. since being in Eridge House Mums health has improved due to the excellent care given by staff, standards of care is excellent and daily events are arrange, which she enjoys, participating in. The garden is nice to sit in when weather conditions allow. There is always coffee and a cake for visitors to enjoy, a fantastic home for Mum.
- Excellent access to relevant management team members and direct communication of results. - Staff members in general appear to have a genuine desire to provide excellent care and support to residents with dignity being paramount. - Food is good considering various diets, but perhaps more variety could be considered in choice of vegetables. - Good policies in place to provide equality and balance of service to individuals.
My mum came into Eridge House in a very depressed and negative state. The change in her is incredible. She is happy, settled and feels that life is worth living. The home is full of happiness and warmth. There are always fun activities. The staff are dedicated, caring, and are really happy with their work - you can feel it. The residents are lovely and all seem really happy and well cared for. It was the best decision made for our precious mum.
Mum has settled in very well since she came to EH in Jan'25. The staff are very kind and patient with her, even though she can be difficult at times due to her Alzheimer's. All staff are courteous, helpful, really lovely! EH is very homely and the facilities and activities are excellent. Mum has told me that she's happy to be here. She feels safe and well cared for. My brother and I are very satisfied with everything/service provided.
Fantastic care home, staff and management very caring for my fathers needs. I would highly recommend Eridge House to any of my friends and family for future care.
The staff are friendly and helpful. My mum Joyce, is very happy and content. She enjoys the day centre and activities in general.
My Dad spent approximately 8 weeks at Eridge House after suffering a fall at home and subsequent fractured hip. Our family felt my Dad would benefit from the safe and caring environment of a residential home whilst rehabilitating and regaining his confidence. Eridge House was already on my radar having been highly recommended and so choosing a residential home was easy. The process of organising a period of respite at Eridge was made smooth and simple with the help of the excellent management team there. My Dad and other family members were also free to contact the team to ask questions prior to his admission. My Dad really enjoyed his stay at Eridge and still talks fondly about all the lovely staff he met. As soon as you walk into Eridge House it feels homely and welcoming. The staff are exceptional at putting residents and relatives at ease with their warm, cheerful approach. The care my Dad received was excellent and activities organised for residents were an added bonus.
My father recently moved into Eridge House at the beginning of July , the stress related to finding the correct home for your loved ones can obviously be very difficult and overwhelming hoping that you are finding the right place for them . I was fortunate to already have some guidance from outside sources regarding this home on how well it is run and how friendly and caring their staff and management are . My father has now been there for just over 3 months and I could not wish for a better home to care for him , the staff seem to be more like a family than just a care home and the whole experience in the home from both a visitors and a residents point of view is so friendly and welcoming , I know that my father has improved both his mental health and his physical health since moving into the home and wouldn't want to be anywhere else , I would highly recommend this home and believe all the staff deserve recognition for all their hard work in making this home so well run. My mother has now resided at Eridge House for the last 15 months as a permanent resident. Although she had a shaky start with settling in and getting used to life in a carehome through no fault of her own due to mild Dementia and memory problems it was the staffs total dedication to her welfare that pulled her through. From management to hands-on staff, not once have I felt worried in any area of mums care. She is always spotlessly clean as is her room and toilet, and the food is nothing but amazing , in fact the smell of cooking when you walk in just makes the whole environment feel more like a 5 star country hotel rather than a carehome. The continuous entertainment and workshops provided during the days is incredible and when the animals turn up it's smiles all round especially from my mum . In all I cannot recommend Eridge House enough and if you are lucky enough to get a residency there for yourself or a member of your family you've definitely won the lottery.
Portion sizes for meals not big enough all else ok....
Very friendly and helpful staff. A homely atmosphere and very high standard of care. Always welcoming with free hot drink and cake. Staff went above and beyond showing genuine care and compassion. A great variety and quality of food options. Would highly recommend.
Very happy and feel safe. Food is very good. Staff are very nice.
Urged by family members to have a respite period, I was very impressed by the standard of care by each member of staff. Always cheerful and anxious to please. I felt confident that I could rely on any member of staff to assist me at all times. I shall return when I feel unable to carry on alone!
Eridge is a fabulous home-from-home when support, kindness and care is required. The staff are professional, attentive, friendly and compassionate. My parents moved into Eridge care home together, both in their nineties. They needed a full and diverse range of personal and physical care, and the wonderful staff were gracious and compassionate, as well as skilled and efficient. My parents were very happy there. The food and mealtimes were friendly and enjoyable as well as delicious and nutritious. There are a variety of activities offered most days, so there is company and interest if required. I can't recommend this home highly enough. I was amazed, thankful and so happy to visit. All the staff are welcoming and professional; they are amazing people and a great team. All my parent's medical needs were managed professionally, but there is also a sparkle and warmth - that is the core of it for me. Perfect.
Very welcoming amazing atmosphere bit like a hotel. Everyone is happy, residence and very entertaining. There are lots of things going on daily in the homes.

I know the staff are tying their best with activities and maybe they are being done at different times I just haven't seen as much. Overall I am very happy with everything. The staff are very friendly and informative. I definitely recommend the home. Some staff are better at updates than others and some do not acknowledge you.
