Our weekly fees at Eridge House vary depending on the room available, double rooms are available at a higher weekly rate. The weekly fee includes 24 hour person centred care, medication administration, activities, laundry services and nutritious meals which can be tailored to meet specific dietary requirements. I visit the care home on average twice a week to see my mother. I am always greeted so warmly. I always find her clean + tidy and well cared for. She wants for nothing - food is first class. The staff are excellent and know her inside out. She can be extremely difficult to understand sometimes (not in a verbal sense). They do not ever force her to do anything, with all the activities available she will not join in. I cannot explain why. She just prefers her own company, like I say, strange woman.

I had the privilege of looking after a resident in her own home for several years, she now moved to Eridge House, naturally I wondered how she would settle and whether she would feel happy & comfortable in her new surroundings. I am genuinely pleased to say that, from what I have seen, she seems very happy and settled, and well cared for. The staff have always been warm, friendly and approachable I honestly could not ask for more.

Having worked in and visited many care homes over the years I can honestly say this is the best. The care and genuine compassion shown to residents and their families is second to none. My father received kindness and dignity, was well cared for and made to feel like part of the family. Eridge House is homely, comfortable and safe and there is always something going on for the residents. My father enjoyed some afternoons snoozing in the sunshine in the conservatory after a wonderful lunch and others watching and singing along to visiting entertainers. This is a very well run home with truly special staff who provide an exceptional level of care.

My mother did not want to enter Eridge House, but after a stroke and the onset of very early dementia we were beside ourselves with what to do. Eridge House was recommended, we made contact, they were so helpful, so kind and continue to be so. Nothing is to much trouble, from hair dressing to podiatry Mum is now going from strength to strength, she eats properly, takes her medication. She will out live us all !!

My mother in law moved in here last week. We had a lot of extra furniture + aids to move in before she got there and we were given access. The staff could not have been more helpful, nothing was too much trouble. They did everything they could to make her transition seamless

I came from Canada to spend 5 days with my aunt, who has mild dementia. Eridge House staff were very flexible with the changes I made to her schedule and very welcoming to me. I was really impressed with the quality of care and the high level of personalised attention for each resident. My aunt is unusually physically fit for one her age and I was glad to find that this level of fitness has been maintained. She is also eating much better than she did when on her own. Activities are plentiful and engaging and there is a lovely atmosphere of kindness in the place.
It was so lovely to meet you on your visits and we are pleased you felt welcome. We look forward to seeing you again on future visits to the UK, your Aunt continues to talk about what a lovely time she had with you!

In Heidi's words... I have had the privilege of owning Eridge House since 1988. I have lived in Bexhill for most of my life and for ten years I held the post as a trustee for two local charities which I found most rewarding. One of my biggest achievements is seeing the development of Eridge House from registration of fourteen in 1988 to that of forty-three older people today. In Laura's words... My first ever job was at Eridge House as a teenager. I went on to become a Care Assistant here, obtained my NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care, and after a few years away I returned as manager in 2018 until 2022 alongside Nicole. I thoroughly enjoyed my role here as manager and am thrilled to remain working at Eridge House, now in the role of Director. After travelling and acquiring various work experience, I was delighted to return to Eridge House, first in the role of Accounts Manager, to then go on to become the Registered Manager, and now a Director. “I joined Eridge in April 2025, having worked in the financial industry for 33 years, with the last 7 years working within the NHS in an administrative role. Eridge has a lovely, homely feel, and there is a great Management team & amazing, caring staff who go over and above and beyond to make sure the residents' needs are met on a daily basis.
