We've been really happy with how Mountside have looked after mum. She's safe and well looked after. Lots of people for her to get involved with (whether she does or not is up to her!!). But it is really invaluable for us and takes a huge pressure off our shoulders

My Dad has been at Mountside since November 2025 and he is very settled and happy. The staff quickly got to know him, understand his needs and make him feel at home. There are always fun and engaging activities on across the day to stimulate the brain and keep positivity flowing. The staff really
care and make time to talk and work together with Dad and the family as a team to ensure Dad is comfortable and thriving. Life when you get older is not easy but Mountside staff are so kind, caring and professional and nothing is too much trouble for them. They always go the extra mile to make sure Dad has his needs met, with good communication including Social Media. I would highly recommend them to other families based on our experience.

My brother has settled in and he's now happy. He is receiving perfect care. He is kept clean and really enjoys the food a lot. He loves the daily activities. He is very happy with the staff. He likes how bright the care home is.

Mountside Care Home have gone over and beyond the care and love that they have shown my mum over the last two years, from the nurses, care assistants, domestic staff and voluntary staff. I cannot thank them enough for all the care that they have shown her. They are true heroes. They not only care
and help the residents but also the family through the darkest of times. It is like a home from home and mum has enjoyed her golden years with them. Nothing is too much trouble and everyone that works there is a friend to you. I would strongly recommend Mountside Care Home to anyone who needs a care home for their loved ones. It is hard when the time comes to put our loved ones into a Care Home but they made the transaction with care and dignity to both mum and myself.

I have been very impressed with the total package provided by Mountside Residential Home. The carers are generally polite, helpful and smile. Meals have been interesting and enough. The tea/coffee trolley service is excellent. Finding the breakfast room (using the lifts) was difficult at first but
staff are willing to help. The laundry service is also excellent.

Mum recently moved in. Super happy. Relieved. They are looking after her and its a nice, safe space for her to be whilst we figure out the long term plan. Felt that I couldn't leave her at all over the last year when she was at home, now she's at Mountside, I can take a much-needed break myself.

The rest of my family have encouraged that I leave a review on behalf of all of us. We have a family member that was stuck in hospital for a couple of months and fortunately was temporarily discharged to Mountside earlier this year. It was great to get him out of the hospital environment where he
was in bed day in day out. It took some getting used to him being in a care home, but it was really helpful to see him interact with others and encouraged to get out of his room and amongst the other residents. It was also great for us because we no longer had to adhere to strict visiting times and expensive hospital parking! This proved a great solution to us all until he was ready to move elsewhere.

Really happy with this place. Everything was as we needed it to be. Felt like being at home so it was easy to settle into. Lots of friendly faces and a nice buzzing environment. Lots of activities to keep everyone entertained.

This is a really good care home. The people are incredibly friendly and there's lots going on. I really like how things seem to be suited to each person and I'm very happy to recommend Mountside. It's not easy seeing a loved one go into a care home but places like this make you feel at ease.

Happy to recommend Mountside. No complaints. Staff work really hard. You can tell that they really know each person that lives there and are happy to help with what they need. Activities are enjoyable and happen a lot. Everyone always seems so happy.

Really good place. Helped with my dad's short term needs where he needed to go into a care home. He was happy and came back home having had a nice rest that allowed him to rest and recuperate. I would recommend.

My uncle came for respite care for a few weeks before moving in with us
The staff were friendly and caring, all happy to help with our questions regarding his care as we were unsure what to expect when he moved in with us

I feel compelled to write a review for Mountside. The care and support that they give is fantastic. There's always staff around and if you can't see one, you can press a buzzer and they come on over. Nothing is too much of a bother for them. And they are all so happy - such a great experience!

What a fantastic place. The bedrooms are beautiful and kept to a really nice standard. The staff are very helpful and do anything you ask them to and the activities are tremendous. Really commend the staff for the time they put in with everyone that stays there.

My friend came to stay here to help her to recover and leave hospital. It was great to see her. She had been in hospital for so long and every time I visited her, she looked more tired and frail. She then got moved to Mountside, where it was great to see her up and about and engaging with people
again. She had perked up much more and it was great to see the rapport that she was building with the staff who genuinely cared about her and tried to help her to get better.

My grandad came for respite and it really helped. I only visited one day but he was settled and happy. He told me they were looking after him and he had everything that he needed. People kept checking up on him, which was nice to see. So I was pretty happy!

I came to visit my uncle, just popped in without booking or anything. Really warm welcome and allowed me in and showed me to his room. Everything was tippity top. He was happy, the home was warm and relaxed. He said the activities are lots of fun and he likes having company.
