This is the best place I could wish my mum to be. All the staff are so amazing and caring. Barbie who arranged events is very special. The residents have a better social life than me. My mum has been here for 5 years and there are no bad points to say about Avon Manor. If I am ever poorly I hope to
end up here. 5 Staff is not nearly enough.

It's a wonderful home and the staff are very thoughtful and kind towards the residents and their families.
There is always a lot of activities for residents to get involved in and I'm happy in the knowledge that my mum is very well looked after.

This is such a friendly, happy care home that I would thoroughly recommend to anyone and am so happy that this home was chosen for my dad. He loves the chicks too!

While day-to-day care at Avon Manor initially was satisfactory, our experience regarding my mother's CHC assessment has been deeply distressing.
Since applying, management has been uncooperative and, in our opinion, intentionally obstructive. Most alarmingly, as soon as we applied, detailed care
notes became "bare basic."
The home even deleted video evidence of my mother's extreme distress, citing "Data Protection" while retaining videos of other residents.
They downplayed her condition to the board, claiming she eats well despite documented weight loss. They reported her mobility and speech as "fine" when she cannot string a sentence together and is a high fall risk requiring constant supervision.
They also claimed she was "manageable" despite months of erratic, challenging behaviour.
We are formally escalating this to the CQC and Safeguarding regarding record accuracy and the deletion of evidence. Please be very wary!

Avon Manor is an excellent care home in every way. The way the staff love and care for the residents is outstanding, always going above and beyond. The activities are amazing with a great variety to keep the residents busy. My aunt is always amazingly looked after when she is on respite here, always
has a great time and always eager to return. It's also reassuring to see everything the residents are getting up to on social media too.

Brilliant place. Happy residents. Lovely genuine atmosphere, always keeping busy with activities. It's a lovely place knowing your family loved ones are taken care of. Staff are great.

Fantastic staff, wonderful facilities, caring, clean, I can't think of anything to say to improve the home. Makes me and my family so happy to see Bob so happy and content. The staff definitely go the 'extra mile' for my dear friend.

I cannot thank and praise the team at Avon Manor enough for all they do for my sister and the other residents. It is a very happy, warm, inviting and friendly home environment. The staff go above and beyond with everything they do with such love and warmth to the finest detail. The amount and range
of activities that is organised and carried out is second to none. I cannot speak highly enough of Avon Manor and their amazing staff.

Avon Manor truly cares for the well being of their residents, going above and beyond to ensure that their residents are comfortable and happy. They have given Mum budgies in her room, as Mum had birds growing up. Mum has had to spend a long time in her bed recently and they have provided great joy
and comfort to her. Although Mum had been in her room the staff ensure that Mum is included in any activities or visits. One recent visit saw Mum singing along to a clarinet player. The love, care and attention Mum has received here is exemplary.

At a time of utter chaos and bleakness, my wife went into Avon Manor. She has now been there for 5 years. I am unable to adequately put into words my feelings about the home, as I do not have any criticisms of the way she has been treated and looked after. It is the complete package in every way
with superb care and mental stimulation, and it leaves me knowing that she is in the best possible place. Thank you all at Avon Manor for what you do and achieve.

We are so pleased with the level of care, compassion and support given to our Mum. She arrived at Avon Manor in December 2024 and has settled into her new home so well. The staff are absolutely amazing, residents are kept really busy with a great variety of activities on offer throughout the week,
which helps to enrich their lives.
We are so grateful for all the care that Mum receives at Avon Manor, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to other families.

Since my mother-in-law has come into Avon Manor. She has improved immensely she is well looked after cared for the staff being very friendly very helpful and very caring. always very friendly to visitors and patients. Nothing is too much trouble.

Avon Manor is a wonderful place should you be trying to make the oh so difficult decision to move a loved one into care. 'The Manor' is a real Family, providing love , laughter and entertainment every day. It is such a stimulating environment and I am convinced helps keep all the residents on an
even plane, ensuring they retain both dignity and a precious piece what makes them the person you know and love. The staffing levels are noticeably significant ensuring that there is always a carer on hand, to help and encourage the residents. Kindness is the key ingredient and this is delivered 24/7. Residents are often found out and about on outings that suit their own special needs and are not confined to the home environment. I always get the feeling I have been somewhere special when I visit never leaving anxious and steadfast that the decision was made for the very best reasons and in the interest of my dear Mother in Law who continues to thrive and get the most out of her experience.

Dad has been in Avon Manor for over 2 years and it is wonderful to see how happy he is. There is always something going on to keep him occupied. All the staff are amazing and we know he is in a caring and safe environment.

Avon Manor is an excellent care home. The staff were very friendly and attentive. My father said he liked it there and it was a shame that he was unable to stay for longer. I'm sure he would have continued to have terrific support.

Avon Manor Is the best Care home in the area, I am so lucky that my mum is there, the staff are very attentive and caring. Treating my mum with great dignity. They do their best to make sure she is included in the activities but also respect her privacy.

Dad has been at Avon Manor for 3 1/2 years now. He has ways had outstanding care. He is very happy there. The social media posts are greatly reassuring to myself and family as everyone always looks so happy.
Friends often comment on how well dad looks and we'll looked after.
He has never asked to
go home from the moment he went in there.
The entertainment put on for them is so engaging and trys to involve everyone.
The staff are amazing and always happy to help. Couldn't recommend Avon Manor highly enough and I often do.
