This is one of several visits to Elizabeth House over the last few years as a partner of a respite user. Every time I walk into Elizabeth House I feel a sense of calm and feel my shoulders relax as we are warmly greeted and staff know we are coming. My husband has stayed on both of the upper two
floors and always gets a lovely welcome and made to feel part of the family. His room is always clean and help is about as needed to unpack/pack. I feel very confident about the staff and how they deal with matters and nothing seems too much trouble. I feel I can go away confident in the care he will receive. I could not have survived with him at home as long as I have (10 years since diagnosis) without the support of the respite care I have at Elizabeth House.
Thank you to all the wonderful staff.

A regular user as a respite resident, my mother thoroughly enjoys the experience.
So many daily activities mixed with very caring and attentive staff enhances my confidence in knowing mum is well cared for.

Attentive staff, clean rooms, fresh smell in the home.
Secure for residents, who sometimes get frustrated as they cannot wander outside the front door, but the garden is accessible to all residents and well maintained.
Notices with the menu and activities are available for residents and visitors.
Care staff assist with bathing, dressing and feeding if required.
Pets can visit residents.
Food looks appealing, with choice of menu, which is printed and displayed in a common area.
Staff encourage residents to eat, engage in activities and mix with other residents in social groups.
A very friendly atmosphere with what appears to be a low staff turnover, so residents know who can help them at any time.

I have found all staff very caring and helpful towards all the residents, and friendly to family and friends. The home is very clean and the food looks good and activities are provided and residents are encouraged to join in if they wish. The garden has good seating and south facing to catch good
daytime weather.

The service and everything is absolutely fabulous. I take my friend out every week calling the staff before I come in to ensure he is ready and he always is. When I leave I ask staff to arrange hair cut etc and it's always done when I visit next time. Receives excellent care. Thank you all.

Care Home is well placed for me as I am a resident of Bognor and with public transport reasonably easy to visit.
I am met with courtesy and politeness from all members of Staff, and am very pleased with the attention and care my wife is receiving.
she particularly enjoys days with entertainment
and joins in with most of them.

After two falls in his home, my brother was admitted to hospital for examination. Elizabeth House (EH) had been recommended as an excellent care facility and we visited to consider a possible later placement for him. However, during our visit - late afternoon, the hospital called to say my brother
would be discharged that evening. Suddenly, a "general overview" visit became a critical requirement for accommodation!! EH Management and Care Staff responded brilliantly - and immediately began making arrangements, preparing a room/facilities to make my brother comfortable - and obtaining information from us about his condition, medication etc. Later that evening, the Care Staff Shift Leader confirmed that my brother had arrived and was now safely in bed. Every time we visit we are pleased to see the care, attentiveness and friendliness of all the care staff - and their caring interaction with all residents and ourselves. Very pleased with everybody involved at Elizabeth House.

I have nothing but thanks and praise for the staff of Elizabeth House. Dad has been there a year, the staff have always been warm, welcoming, friendly, caring and professional, contributing to the family feel. Communication channels are always open, whether thats regarding dads care, activities dad
has chosen to join in (which are many and varied. There have been outings, in house activities also visits from singers, animals and entertainers) or generally how he's been. There is support for the family too, all staff have ensured we feel welcome there, that we can drop in anytime to visit and keep family together as much as possible. I see the interactions with dad and staff, making him laugh, treating him with dignity and respect, ensuring his room/ the home is clean tidy and comfortable. They ask dads preference for drinks, he has his elevenses still, with cake or biscuits and fish and chip Friday, but with other choices if preferred. He is settled, in a safe, caring, clean home.

I have not left a review before but I have nothing but praise for this care home my Aunt has been there for about 4 months and the management and staff have been totally committed with care and kindness to help her settle in to a environment which is so different from what she has been used to ie
living in her own home. From my point of view it has allowed me to come to terms with my own doubts if I have done the right thing for my Aunt but having seen how the caring staff have helped my Aunt settle in has reassured me that I have made the right decision and have just had a call from the care home that they going to take my Aunt to the seaside for a picnic which doesn't get any better. So to sum up my review I am totally relaxed about the care my Aunt is receiving.

I had to leave mum at Elizabeth House while I had a hip replacement and couldn't drive. It is light and airy, and the staff are really helpful and caring. When her 6 weeks were up, she didn't want to go home. She enjoys having company and making friends. She's a bit forgetful now, and for us, it is
such a relief to know she is safe. It really is a lovely place to live.
