View Full Details of Rosedale Care HomeGenuinely caring staff. I know my mum is safe and well looked after. Mum is treated with dignity at all times. The food looks good and I like their routine of eating in a dining room. It's good that they aren't stuck in their rooms all day and are encouraged to use the lounge.
My mum came to Rosedale after a fall and was in hospital for a few weeks. This has been a difficult time as my sister died a few weeks before my mum's fall and so she was very low in herself already. Going to a care home filled her with anxiety and fear. The manager went to see her in hospital before she was moved into the care home, and was very kind and reassuring to her. When she arrived she was anxious and a bit low and Alex, the manager and all the staff made sure that she was reassured and looked after. She said that she felt right at home the moment she arrived. She has settled amazingly quickly and is now getting involved in activities and engaging with the other residents. I couldn't be more pleased and relieved about all the above. The home is warm friendly and very comfortable. All areas of the home are spotlessly clean There is a nice relaxed atmosphere. Her room is large, light and airy. She is very much treated as an individual with respect, and superb care!
My mother moved to Rosedale after having a fall and breaking a vertebrae in her neck. The staff have been amazing. The manager went with a staff member to have training at the hospital. They were the only home in Horsham who were prepared to care for my mother with her spinal injury. The staff are so helpful and caring. My mother has settled in so quickly and is very happy there.
Mum moved into Rosedale last month. We were so anxious about her going into a care home and finding the right one. All our worries melted away after she moved in and we feel so at peace and blessed that she's at Rosedale. The staff are so caring and compassionate from the cleaner to the manager. Food, cleanliness and care is 5*. There is no horrible smell of stale urine that so many care homes have. Her room is bright and airy but more importantly she is treated like an individual and her needs taken care of with kindness. Rosedale is an answer to our prayers!
Three of us sisters regularly visit our eldest sister. Although she thinks she's in a hotel, our sister seems happy there. The staff are lovely and make us welcome, with tea/biscuits too. There is also an attractive garden.
My mum has recently moved into Rosedale, the care is fabulous and the food according to my mum is good. I,ve noticed how clean it always is, her room is excellent with fresh bedding and pyjamas consistently. It never smells, unlike some other care homes I,ve visited and always lovely and warm, it has recently been painted all through. The management are easy to talk to, one member of staff in particular being especially kind and empathetic with down to earth experience. It,s nice to know my mum is safe and well looked after.
Rosedale looked after my elderly mother for 10 days to provide some respite care after she had a couple of falls. She was well-cared for and happy at Rosedale. The staff all seemed very friendly and helpful.
Found it to be a very homely place and very friendly staff.
When my mum needed more care than my dad could give her, we chose Rosedale because of its small size, which is ideal for her, it has a real family vibe, homely atmosphere, caring staff, the fun-loving manager - all make it a perfect choice.
Mum went into Rosedale early January 24 and has been very welcomed by both staff and manager. Mum is settling well and is doing so much better. It's such a homely, friendly place. The staff have been there a long time, so they get to know the needs of their residents. Everyone is brilliant in looking after Mum, making sure all her needs are met - she has now put on weight and joins in with the activities. She enjoys the company of the other residents, and she is now embracing care home life. We are made to feel very welcomed and are kept informed on a daily apt to do with Mum. So happy we found Rosedale.
My nan is so well cared for and so, so happy at Rosedale Care Home. As a visitor I am always made welcome.
I could not ask for my nan to live and be cared for so well as she is at Rosedale. It does not matter when or what time I visit I am made welcome by the staff. I can witness first-hand the love and care my nan gets.
I am so happy my mum is at Rosedale. From the first day I visited to look round, I knew this was the place for my mum to live. The homely atmosphere, the caring staff, the fun-loving manager - all make it a happy place to be. I enjoy visiting my mum because I can see how happy she and all the other residents are.
Visiting a friend. Made to feel very welcome, offered tea and biscuits on arrival. Very pleasant surroundings and friendly staff.
On my last and previous visits, I found a very happy and comfortable atmosphere in the home. My friend said the food was good and she was looked after well.
It is always lovely to visit Nan. She is so much happier here, with access to the garden where she can sit and relax. Now she has her cast off, they are encouraging her to move about as much as she can. All the staff are welcoming and friendly. Nan especially likes the manager, who seems to have a great connection with Nan. They are always bubbly, friendly and going the extra mile to make sure she's comfortable (i.e. padding Nan's bed so her arms don't get trapped).
My mother has been living at Rosedale now for a couple of months and loves it. My sister and I viewed a lot of homes and chose Rosedale because when we entered, we immediately felt at home. The house is spotless and the staff cannot do enough for her. Mum loves the food and has gained weight since she has been there. Best choice we ever made. Absolutely no regrets. Mother is happy and safe, which was our first concern.
We were very worried about Mum going into a care home, we had looked at a few that we weren't happy with. But Rosedale, though a little tired in places, ticked all of the boxes. The staff are lovely and it is homely. Mum has settled in very well and is happy here. She loves sitting in the garden and she thinks the food is fantastic. Would highly recommend.
