Great service and excellent care of mum at all times, staff always pleasant and helpful, care for mum with her dementia is done with love and passion , so I cannot thank you all enough at Nyton House.

I have been a volunteer for over a year now assisting with outings and activities like crafts and excercise dance and event days. All the residents and myself have enjoyed these activities and I look forward yo the year ahead at Nyton.

Nyton House has provided excellent care for both parents over the last 2 years, sadly my father died last year, but we were welcomed to stay with him, overnight and treated like members of the extended Nyton family for the whole period. My mother has quite complex care needs - but the care team here
have been phenomenal in catering for her care needs and improving her quality of life
19 January 2026
I really can't recommend Nyton House more highly. My father has been a resident for nearly two years and my mother was a resident in the last weeks of her life. The care is second to none. The staff are all just wonderful and you just can't put a price on the knowledge that your closest loved one
is being given the dignity, time, compassion and respect they deserve. My lovely Dad feels safe and content and is spoilt rotten. The environment is very much a 'home from home' and the staff actively engage with residents. It really is a special place.

My partner, who has Lewy body dementia, moved into the Coach House at Nyton House last September and, to be honest, to my surprise he's settled remarkably well.
All the staff are lovely, highly trained and skilled in dementia care and have really taken time to get to know him and to respect his
needs as an individual. I'm also really happy with the communication I receive from the management staff. The environment is clean, homely and, as there are only nine residents in the unit, it has a real family feel about it. He's really enjoying the wonderful food too!

Outstanding care in every way. From the moment my dad arrived at Nyton House, it truly felt like a home from home. The care, kindness and dignity shown to him were exceptional, and nothing ever felt too much trouble. Every member of staff went above and beyond - not just in looking after my dad,
but in supporting us as a family too.
I genuinely cannot speak highly enough of this care home and the incredible people who work there. They made an immeasurable difference to us all. They are like one big family and it is a very happy place. You feel it the moment to step in the front door. My only regret is not finding it sooner.

Not enough space to put how the team at Nyton House picked me up, dusted me down and assured after assessment my mum would join their family.
I call it a family from the professional, caring approach given to all that was evident from walking in the door.
Judging I was struggling with the
overwhelming pressure of finding care for mum, both Felicity and Activities Organiser listened intently to my story and report from Hospital about mum. An widowed but active 88 yr old lady, admitted with a chest infection to now reportaldy bed bound : in addition to Alzheimer's. Mums overall health has taken a nose dive since admitted to Hospital but is 'Medically fit for discharge '!
I am grateful, Nyton House have taken the lead on admitting mum to their family and am hopeful once settled she will agree she is in a safe, caring, home from home.

My wife is very well cared for indeed. She is treated with dignity and respect by kind and caring staff. The food and drink are excellent and plentiful and great attention is paid to hydration and food intake.
There are plenty of activities and she is encouraged to take part.
She is settled and
calm.

My Dad was simply rescued by Nyton house in our hour of need. They swooped in, assessed, agreed admission and picked him and my mum up, helped my mum and myself settle him in, reassured him and us and welcomed us into the Nyton house family.
The care and attention he and we received was first
class, kind, compassionate, professional, reflexive and supportive to his needs and they worked hard to understand his life history, helped him with independence and subtly assisted him where and when he needed it and seamlessly increased their support as he needed them too. Special thanks to all the gang, facilities/ chef team/ activities team and Felicity for managing such a brilliant care home.
His end of life care was excellent, kind, thoughtful, dignified, compassionate and we were supported as a family.
We miss him dearly, but are so grateful for his last few months where he was supported and truely cared for as were my mum and I.
10/10 care / environment. Would highly recommend

Both my parents moved to Nyton 12 years ago and my mother now only lives there since my Father passed away and couldn't be happier and receive better care than she gets at Nyton. This is the true definition of a care home as each and every person cares so much and goes above and beyond.
Great
location, beautiful gardens and grounds, amazing staff, lots of activities and engagement and the food is of the highest standard.

Very homely and carding home ,Brilliant care for mum right up to the end.
When mum died in the evening, two of mums friends/carers came in on their day off to help us both spiritually and hands on.
When mum was able there were loads of activities to cater for all tastes with a different weekly
schedule.
All the staff are great, with plenty of staff on during the night.
Food really good too, smells lovely every day.

There is nothing more precious than the bond between a mother and daughter so when the time came to find somewhere extra special for mum to move too, I cannot ever begin to say how thankful our family was to find Nyton house. The level of care is first class, the staff are like family members, they
clearly really care for the residents and their wellbeing. Mum is extremely happy, any worries about her being in a 'care home' soon dissipated, she loves it! the entertainment is brilliant with regular trips out each week. Mum beams her way through her days now.
The house is beautifully decorated, and the meals are well thought out, balanced and home cooked. All of the staff work hard to maintain the standard that has clearly been established for many years.
The houses sit in lovely well maintained gardens, with plenty of space to move around.
I cannot recommend Nyton House highly enough, and want to say a huge thank you to everyone who works there, you have given us all peace of mind.

Nyton House is a safe, clean, friendly caring residential home. Mum feels safe, she is well fed & cared for, the staff talk to mum as much as possible. I am always given a coffee during my visit to make the visit more like home. Her clothes are washed daily, her wishes are respected and her opinions
are listened to and valued.

Outstanding!
Great support from management and staff throughout for mum and the family. All the staff are very caring and work extremely hard to ensure the home is friendly and meets individual needs. The activities, for the residents, are wonderful and help them to interact socially mentally.
Small numbers of residents in each area to help make it feel like home from home rather than they are just one of many. Thank you to all at Nyton House
Highly recommend - 5 stars.

Mum has been a resident since 22nd November 2023. The attention to detail and the significant, one-to-one care she has received during that time has meant that my three brothers and I are confident she is in good and capable hands.
The staff are vigilant and energetic which ensures Mum has the care
she deserves and requires. The entertainment arranged is of excellent quality and the regular opportunities for Mum to be taken to church are valued highly.

Excellent care and attention. Always ready to listen to the concerns of relatives willing to go above and beyond.

I must express my enormous thanks and deep appreciation for the care my darling daddy received over the last 6 weeks and in the final days of his life at Nyton House. The staff were outstanding throughout and their genuine care and affection and deep respect for our father exceeded expectations. Not
only was our father cared for with dignity and love, but my sister, mother and I were also cared for as we prepared to say goodbye to him. We were looked after fully during the last few days when we were with him. We had a room to rest in, freshly prepared meals provided and sympathetic and sensitive support to take the time to be his family aside from caring for him. I cannot praise Nyton House and everyone who makes this place such a beautiful serene place to end one's earthly journey. Thank you so very much.

I have known Nyton House for many years and was happy to recommend it unconditionally to my father who has now been a resident for two months. He used to spend most of the day snoozing in his chair but has now come to life again, as it were. He enjoys all the activities - music, poetry readings,
talks about local history and numerous other subjects, and when I suggested visiting him on a particular afternoon, he said, 'No, we have a really fun quiz that day!'. The food is delicious and all homemade, and the staff welcome friends and family to join them at their meals. The care is second to none. My father loves nature and just to gaze out into the beautiful well-kept gardens gives him a real sense of peace. In his own words: 'I never imagined at this time in my life I could be so happy'.

My parents have been staying at Nyton House for a couple of months. Their health has been up and down during this time, as has their acceptance of needing care. The Nyton team have been very kind and patient throughout. Mum and Dad thoroughly enjoy the range of activities during weekdays and they
usually love the home-cooked lunches, with the occasional glass of wine! The home and beautiful grounds are very comfortable and well-tended and they are looking forward to being able to spend more time in the gardens as the weather improves. We really like being able to visit them at any time, to try to replicate times we have previously spent together as a family. Many thanks to all the team at Nyton - kindness counts.

This is my second visit to Nyton. I have recommended it to several people known to me. I have compared it to a well-run and very comfortable country hotel. The atmosphere is calming. The staff are caring but not at all intrusive and the food is very good. There is a daily programme of visits and
in-house events which provide opportunities for those who want or need social engagement. One is left in peace to decide whether or not one wishes to join in. The rooms provide the means for entertainment or 'work' with one's laptop. The rural surroundings contribute to a sense of peace and relaxation. The fact that the house is a period one contributes to a sense of permanence.
