My Nan was moved to the home due to care needed beyond our ability for early dementia and Alzheimer's. From the initial visit to her home across over 2 years to the last days of her stay the staff and management were thoughtful, kind and experienced. They developed activities during the time, put
measures in place for her health and kept communication in place throughout.

My dad came to Woodbine Manor Care Home for a two-week period of respite care to give my mum a much-needed break. From the moment he arrived, the team at Woodbine were incredibly kind, patient and caring. We truly couldn't have asked for more. Dad settled in very quickly and seemed happy in his own
way, which meant a great deal to us. We were able to visit every day and were always made to feel so welcome, with the team regularly offering us a cup of tea or coffee. The lounge area was spacious, bright and very clean, and Dad's room was also clean and comfortable, which helped him feel at ease. We would like to say a very special thank you to all of the team for making some of his final days such a calm, caring and positive experience. It meant more to our family than words can say.

After visiting Woodbine manor, I was very impressed at how clean and well maintained everything was. They are a Carehome that strive to offer the best care and service to all residents no matter the circumstances with always such a friendly smile. Thank you for doing what you all do.

Emma and the team work so hard to provide the best care for their residents, ensuring that Woodbine is their home,
going above and beyond for their safety, their health and their happiness. They have amazing activities, entertainment and visits really making it such a special place for everyone.

What a lovely care home. You are always greeted with a smile. The staff are incredibly polite and caring. I have been visiting the home for almost a year now since my friend/neighbour moved in, and every visit has been a pleasure. The home is always clean and there are so many activities for
residents to enjoy. The recent improvements have made the home bright, welcoming and even more comfortable.

1) Level of care and kindness of staff are exceptional. A result of their high calibre and typically long periods of employment at Woodbine. 2) MGT outstanding. 3) Recent significant refurbishment. (Pleased lift is now operational again, so mum can enjoy a full shower)

What a fantastic place all very welcoming and clean and tidy, the manager Dani is great she: very helpful and understanding. I would definitely recommend this place to have there relatives to stay. All the staff are so polite and helpful and kept in very clean condition can't thank you enough

I could not fault the care my dear friend received. It felt like every member of staff went above and beyond. It was a comfort to know how well she was looked after in her last few days. I just wish she could have had long with you. Thank you.

My friend was admitted to Woodbine Manor on 8th October 2025. She immediately captivated the hearts of the staff by her wonderful personality. That night she suddenly deteriorated and died on 12th October. She was expertly and lovingly cared for by the staff and so were we her friends. She could not
have been in a better place for the last days of her life. The staff are all loving and kind and the home bright and cheerful. We cannot thank them enough for everything they did.

The staff at Woodbine Manor are very professional approachable and also show people they have empathy. They are caring helpful and offer staff things before the request could be made. I feel that Woodbine Manor is a caring place and if I needed to I would have my relatives working there.

I have been visiting Woodbine Manor on a weekly basis for a few years now, currently seeing two residents, giving them Holy Communion. I have always found the staff very welcoming and considerate, both to myself as well as with the residents under their care. I generally see the residents in a
communal area, but if I have seen them in their room, they have been fine and settled in their surroundings.

My mum has been at Woodbine since May 2024. The team have & still are looking after her extremely well. They look after Mum with great care & consideration. Also have been very supportive to my brother & I. Thank you Woodbine.

Excellent care home. All the staff are wonderful with the residents, lots of hugs included. Staff are caring and always have smiles on their faces. The manager is lovely and likes to also interact with the residents, helping at meal and refreshment times and coming up with ideas to keep the
residents occupied. Mum is very happy there and always commenting how nice staff are.

Woodbine Manor Care Home looked after both my parents during their final days when they were invariably treated with dignity, respect and compassion. The staff were ever-present, caring, professional and endlessly patient. As a family, we were offered kindness and support, along with many cups of
tea! Our parents were treated with love and concern for their physical, mental and emotional states. The staff went above and beyond their duty to make the home comfortable and welcoming for the residents, I even saw one member of staff give up her time off to make the gardens beautiful prior to an afternoon tea for the residents. We were also very impressed by the attention to every tiny detail; the quality of their handovers to the next shift of staff is amazing, we always felt that all the staff were very aware of every facet of our parents' care. We offer thanks and highly recommend Woodbine for giving our parents such a positive experience of loving care during their final days.

As a professional, Woodbine Manor have looked after a number of my clients. The staff and management go above and beyond to make them feel welcome and settled. Their communication is excellent, the environment is clean and the food is good - many of them have put on much needed weight! The
activities are entertaining and the residents are treated with dignity and respect. Highly recommend Woodbine.

Excellent home with caring staff. Always clean and the rooms are bright and welcoming. Food is excellent with a varied menu. The gardens are beautiful and there are numerous activities for the residents. Visitors are always welcome.

Mum has been a resident at Woodbine for about 12 months, moving her into care was the hardest decision. I picked Woodbine as I had heard positive things about the care provided there and I am so glad that I did.
The team are fantastic, always cheerful, approachable, and kind and caring in their
interactions with residents. There is always a very calm, friendly family-type feel to the home, and laughter, lots of laughter! The staff are prompt in discussing any health concerns and because they know the residents so well are able to quickly spot if anything is off the baseline. Mum always mentions how kind and lovely the staff are and I can see, just by looking at her, how content she is there and how well looked after she is. The variety and frequency of the activities on offer is fantastic, and Mum participates with gusto! It is so lovely to see her laughing and enjoying herself. I would highly recommend Woodbine, it is a gem of a home with wonderful staff who provide excellent care.

The standard of care of residents and their families is amazing. It is very difficult for residents when they go into care. They are giving up their home and it's a complete change to their way of life. The staff are supportive and most understanding. They are kind and considerate, making an effort
to talk to each resident and to make each person feel special.
