I am resident living in brook, getting well cared and team is helping me in everything. Very happy to be in brook

The staff at this care home are very kind, patient and supportive. They treat resident with respect and make sure everyone feel comfortable and safe. The environment is clean, calm and welcoming. Communication with families is good, and team is always willing to help with any concern. Overall, it is a caring place where residents are well looked after.

The staff always seem cheerful and ready to help. The cleanliness of Brook House is very good; it is bright and welcoming. The care Mum has received has been excellent. I was concerned about 'putting her in a home' after 90+ years of independence but the friendly atmosphere and the professional 24hr care have made it the right choice for both of us. Particular thanks to the management team who arrange activities and events for letting Mum take part and feel a valued part of the Brook House family.

The staff at Brook House are incredibly caring. They genuinely look after residents as if they were family. There is always a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in the home. Mum feels secure and enjoys the activities that are arranged. Staff communicate well with families when there is an issue and there are lots of cheery greetings when I visit.

It is the people at Brook House that really make it a caring home. The team put great effort into every moment from keeping things running smoothly in the everyday care and proactively addressing the needs of the residents, to the celebrations - seasonal decorations and events, birthdays, games and other activities. The garden and communal areas as well as the dog and cat that live onsite certainly enhance the environment. We visit our neighbour most weeks since he moved into the home earlier this year - at that time fragile, anxious, and with a number of health concerns. Over time we've seen him find his feet, feel more at ease, have health issues addressed, build trust and confidence, and start to make friends with other residents. The staff go out of their way to accommodate any requests during visits and ideas to improve his experience that we might have. A big thanks in particular to Manuela for always bringing a smile, compassion, professionalism, team stewardship, hospitality.

My mum was taken to the care home from Hospital and was made welcome from day one. the staff were always caring and had time for her even when busy and she was at times difficult and moody but staff always remained cheerful with her I cannot find fault of any kind with her stay and care given all staff and management I found to be first class :)

Mum is well cared for and I know she is safe. The staff are excellent,friendly and amazingly calm and patient with the residents. I'd like a friend and family portal with activities and importantly for me a who who in the staff.

As a family, we are so pleased that we chose Brook House for my Nanna following on from her dementia diagnosis. Nanna was a resident at Brook House for over two years, and in that time she, and we, all got to know the team well. The atmosphere at Brook House is very welcoming and relaxed, and the staff are friendly, caring and always happy to help the residents and their families/friends. Nanna being a resident at Brook House meant that she was always safe, warm, had company, and looked after which allowed us to spend time with her as family. Nanna could sometimes be difficult and uncooperative, but the staff were always patient, kind and respectful, even when she was giving them an earful! We are so grateful to everyone at Brook House, and cannot thank them enough for the kindness and care that Nanna received.

My late mother has been looked after very well, with such attention to her dignity and with such kindness throughout her stay. This review pertains to her last month and final days. The manager and her team went above and beyond their duties to ensure that mum has the appropriate medical and clinical care for her end of life at Brook House. So much kindness and compassion was afforded mum. The carers and manager were on duty 24/7 and ensured they engaged the district nurses & GP promptly - much effort was required by the team to ensure a good/excellent end of life experience for our mother - we are v.grateful

I'm so glad we chose Brook House for mum following her dementia diagnosis. Being a smaller care home meant we got to know the carers well - and they got to know mum. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the staff are friendly, kind, caring and always willing to help the residents and their families. Mum's behaviour could be challenging at times but she was always treated with patience, kindness and respect. To know mum was safe, well cared for and had company was a weight off our minds and we are very grateful for the entire Brook House family

I have found Brook House to be a very warm and friendly place. My partner has settled in well and enjoys most of the activities on offer. i have found the Staff to be very efficient and friendly. They are always conscious of preserving dignity and are very approachable when answering questions etc. As I live nearby I often visit and now feel part of the Brook Brook House family.

I visit my friend each week. Various days, on every occasion the staff are so friendly and professional with the up most care. I have totally confidence in Brook House. The new House Manager has made a great improvment.

Manager has an open door policy. Staff are very friendly Meals always look appetising. Dad took a while to settle but is now settled and happy to be living here. Room is always clean.

Brook House is a wonderful care home. My mother has been a resident nearly 3 years. I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible compassionate care that my mother receives. The dedicated team of staff truly understand her needs and are always on the end of the phone, if I have any questions. Knowing that she is in such capable and caring hands gives me great peace of mind.

My daddy has been living at Brook House Care Home and I couldn't be happier with the care and love he receives there. From the moment we walked through the doors, it was clear that this was a special place. The staff are incredibly kind, compassionate and attentive. They treat every resident with respect and dignity, taking the time to truly understand their needs and preferences.

Our grandad stayed at the Brook House Care Home during November.The deputy manager was very helpful when arranging his stay. All carers have been very friendly and professional and he wouldn’t mind staying again in the future if necessary.

Brook House is honestly one of the loveliest places you could ever leave a loved one in someone else's care. The staff work incredibly hard and do their absolute best to ensure every resident is completely cared for. They go above and beyond and look like they are having fun at the same time! I could not recommend this home enough, the deputy manager is outstanding and committed to providing the highest quality of care.
