We had out doubts about David coming into care. His dementia is very complex and although he understands he cannot speak. We are now extremely happy he is here. I visit regularly and go home knowing he is happy and contented. We so appreciate the time everyone has taken to get to know "OB" they are
all wonderful.

Really lovely staff always happy to help out, great atmosphere, Food is great too, home is clean and tidy, they provide a great level of care, I would definitely recommend this care home to others! :-)

My father moved in this month
We are very pleased with the care and support that has been provided for him
The staff are very friendly,polite and also supportive
The home is always clean and tidy
When we leave I am also reassured and happy that my father is taken care of

My mum moved in last week and we couldn't be any happier, from the first show around to move in day everyone was so helpful. Thank you Buchan House for making this process easier.

Buchan House is a remarkable place, since moving in my mum was looked after incredibly well, nothing was ever too much trouble and the team were fantastic, especially the manager Tanya, the work she puts in deserves to be noticed.
I would recommend Buchan House to anyone.

My mother is very well cared for at Buchan House. The administrative team make the entire process smooth. They treat everyone with respect and gentleness.

I cannot recommend Buchan House highly enough. After a difficult year watching our mother struggle with dementia, finding a place where she would feel safe, comfortable and genuinely cared for was our top priority. From the moment we arrived, the team welcomed and reassured us, taking the time to
understand her unique needs and preferences.The level of care here is truly exemplary. The team is not only highly professional but also incredibly compassionate, treating residents with dignity, kindness and patience. She has settled in remarkably well, and it is clear that she is receiving personalised attention and support every day. Activities are engaging, the environment is warm and inviting and the staff consistently go above and beyond to ensure residents' well-being. Knowing that she is in capable and caring hands has brought our family immense peace of mind. For anyone seeking a care home where empathy, professionalism and dedication are evident, Buchan House is outstanding.

My grandad has recently moved here and when I went to visit him for the first time on the weekend all the staff was very helpful and very welcoming. Really clean and tidy place and he seems to have settled really well here.

Absolutely amazing home, grandad had come from fulbourn and he is extremely happy and looks so much more content here. Home and staff are great nothing is to much trouble, communication is perfect. Thank you

I arrived on 4th November and was met by staff, I was immediately made to feel welcome and within an hour I had had a complete makeover. A fabulous start to what had been a difficult decision, moving into care from home in such a short space of time.
The staff here are amazing, they are
professional and respectful, they give their time freely, my room is immaculate and beautifully decorated in autumn colours. Staff regularly check if anything is needed and come quickly even when busy to reassure me that they will deal with my need asap.
My son came today, said I looked happier and healthier than I had done for weeks, I am
Mum again.
My journey has not been an easy one, diagnosed with MND in July and rapid progress in decline but feel I now have a quality of life here.
Thank you Buchan House.

My grandfather is living in Buchan House, he is well looked after, his needs are always met and I never have any concerns regarding his care.
He was always such a sociable man and so the fact he can join in with activities in the home is great for his social skills and gives me peace of mind when I
am unable to visit.

My mum came here in Feb 2025 from the beginning she has been cared for in a wonderful way. I cannot thank all the staff she has been in contact with enough. The staff involved mum in all events even though she was deaf and I enjoyed the photos posted most days, I will cherish these for ever.
The
final days have been the hardest ever and all the staff treated my mum with respect and dignity right to the end. The care for us as a family was well appreciated.
Mum appeared to love them all. I fully recommend you to take a look and trust your loved ones to this wonderful place.

The staff working here are kind caring and very professional. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they always go the extra mile.
Their service users are always happy and seem to be really settled. It's just a lovely environment for them to live.

My father moved into Buchan House at the start of June. He had been in hospital for 7 months. We were very anxious about the move due to his dementia.
I met the manager on a tour prior to my dad moving in, and I immediately had a good feeling about the home and staff while I was on the tour. From
early visits, it was clear to see they care so much for the people staying there. Each day there are activities for the residents to be involved in.
The food is great quality, and I am kept up to date with my dad with calls from the staff. It is so satisfying that I know my dad is being looked after in such a great care home.
The home is very clean, well maintained and looked after. and all the staff are passionate about their work.

The level of care and attention to detail is outstanding. The team takes the time to get to know each resident personally, ensuring their individual needs are met with kindness and respect. The activities and social events are wonderful too - there's always something going on to keep everyone
engaged and happy.

I visit Buchan House regularly to visit a family friend. I am always greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. We could not be happier with the excellent level of care my father in law has received at Buchan House Care home. Every thing from the communication with families to the planned activities to entertain the residents to the highest level of care that is delivered day in day out. This care home is
exceptional and it is so reassuring to know that every one there is treated with respect, dignity and compassion. I cannot fault the place. Thank you for everything you do.

My friend has been living in Buchan for over 3 years and I can honestly say its been a wonderful experience for him. The home has a lovely welcoming atmosphere & is always clean & maintained.
The staff are kind attentive & generally care about the wellbeing of everyone. Most importatnly my friend
is happy living there which gives me great peace of mind. I would highly recommend this care home.
