I cannot praise the Hillings highly enough.
My Dad spent almost 3 years there before he died there in November this year. He had dementia and his condition deteriorated over the time he was there, so care needed to be adjusted to suit his needs over time.
The staff and management have provided
excellent care and support. The manager is very strong, she has an excellent understanding of the position of relatives, as she has been there herself, and she listens to all feedback. Not every single thing has been perfect over the period, but if I've had any concerns or suggestions, she's acted on them quickly and changes have been made.
There have been many carer and other staff over the 3 years but no one has made me feel that my feelings weren't valid, or that my Dad didn't deserve the very best care. Even when stretched, the carers have had a smile and treated Dad like an individual.
Living with a relative with dementia is very challenging and the Hillings supported us through that.

Walking into The Hillings is very welcoming. Laura, Tracey & the team went above and beyond for both my parents who had dementia. They treated them with love and respect for which we will be etenally grateful. 10 stars.

My mum recently passed away. She was in The Hillings about five years. Always well cared for by the staff. Her room was always clean. Staff were friendly and well trained.
We were allowed to visit any time and felt welcome. In the covid years we had visiting in cabin/ window visits, open air for
which we were very grateful.

Cannot speak highly enough of Hillings. My dad spent 2 weeks here for respite! The staff are all wonderful, caring, kind, funny and comitted, from the carers to management. Day one they made dad feel cared for important aswell as family members and put them at ease! Always very informative by
telephone whenever we needed to be updated. I would recommend Hillings highly.

My mum was cared for by caring and compassionate staff, they soon got to know her and her wishes and requests were catered for in a person centred way. Staff were friendly and approachable. The seniors always communicated well informing me of any changes in mums health, willing to give time to us
when we visited. Sadly mum deteriorated soon after becoming a resident, the loving, caring, dedicated staff looked after her excellently. The respect shown when mum died was of the highest class. Well done Hillings staff so professional.

During the short time our mum was a resident at The Hillings her care was excellent. The carers and staff couldn't have done more to help her settle and be comfortable in her new surroundings which she understandably took a while to adjust to. They showed professionalism at all times and clearly
love the job they do. When our mum passed away the care to the family was equally excellent making time to talk to us and supporting us in dealing with our loss.
Thank you to each and every member of the team for what you did for our mum.

My mother was only been in the home a few weeks but the staff have been very caring and settled her in very well. My mother suffers from anxiety + dementia but has told us she feels safe there and that everyone is very nice. That is what we wanted to hear from our mum. She is starting to get
involved in activities which is great as we want her to integrate. Overall we are very happy with the Hillings.

It is almost three years now since my Dad went to the Hillings, at the age of 93, for respite care after a long stay in hospital. Toward the end of the respite time period, he decided he wanted to stay there long term.
Honestly, Dad loves it here and considers it to be his home. There are some
especially warm and kind staff who take care of him and, because I live so far away ( the US ), it is such a comfort to know he is in such good and caring hands.
One of the senior carers is a shining star. She talks to myself and my siblings as if Dad is the only person there and is such an advocate for him. She is amazing.
I'm so very glad that Dad gets to call the Hillings home and I think he is too!!

Dad is very happy at The Hillings. He has lived there for nearly 3 years and has an obvious affection for the kind people who look after him. A big 'thank you' to one staff member in particular who always has time to discuss his care with us and is determined to get him moving again after his recent
hip operation.

I would like to thank The Hillings Care Home for the excellent care they provide for my mother, who has been a resident for over a year.
I particularly like the fact that the property is on one level and has small individual lounges which allows residents and carers the opportunity to develop a
more personal relationship with each other.
The staff are incredibly friendly, compassionate, and professional, and the management team
are always willing to listen and provide thoughtful advice on my mother's care
Our mother is very happy at The Hillings and enjoys the activities, especially the keep-fit sessions and the lively singalongs, whether with the staff or visiting entertainers.

Our resident has been there 3 years + and over time up and down. Staff have clearly got to know her very well and do the best they can to support her. Thank you.

Three Words: Avoid, avoid avoid! If you love and care about your family member, do not put them in this institution. There is no stimulation, everything is a smoke screen even the picture on the website is carefully selected and do not represent the true aesthetics? The basic needs of any resident
are all compromised. A large proportion of the staff do not have a good grasp of English and are difficult to understand, let alone an elderly person with poor hearing which, is one of my main concerns in the event of relating 'accurate' information in emergencies. The incompetence of this home is all down to management who is the biggest gaslighter, she should be a Politician?! This institution is only interested in money which is not invested into the residents for anything! My mother does not even have double glazed windows in her room and she's 95 yrs of age. Previous drafts not noticed for months by management? It is old and dated. The word 'Care' home is questionable?

Excellent staff. Dad is treated with dignity. Dad is very happy, always clean and well presented.
Can't really fault The Hillings. It may not be the newest care home in St Neots but it doesn't have a high turn over of staff and care given is excellent.
Staff take time to find out about each
resident and sit and talk to them.

My mum has now been in The Hillings for about 6 years. Although she has got worse healthwise, her care has been great. I am always kept informed even if she gets a bruise. The staff are all amazing and the head of care is fantastic. Always tells me what is going on with my mum so I can not fault her
or any other staff. I am glad she is at The Hillings.
