Lavendar House take amazing care of my grandma and helps to give us peace of mind as a family that she is well cared for and looked after.
The staff have become like family friends and always greet you with a smile and so friendly.
Lavendar is all about the care and the activities during the
week keep my grandma entertained and she particularly enjoys the crafts.
This is like no other care home.

Mum has settled in really well. The staff are very kind to her and have got to know her sense of humour. She's safe!

Staff are extremely helpful to residents and visitors alike, always smiling and have time to talk to everyone.
Activities at the home are excellent and they always try to include all residents in them.

We visited my brother every day for approximately 2 1/2 weeks and we found him to be well cared for. Visiting from Australia we were not sure what to expect but were pleasantly surprised.

The home is always very clean and the residents all seem happy. They are extremely well fed and entertained.

If only my Nan had agreed to come here earlier. She has been given a new lease of life at the age of 96! The Activities Coordinator is loved by my Nan and she misses him when he is not around. Staff and residents are all friendly. Would be nice to have tea making facilities for visitors, but
otherwise, this place is ace.

Very helpful, exceptionally helpful and caring for my Mother in Law, always there to help. Always been made welcome. Staff very nice and very helpful. Activity Coordinator very good, always doing things with residents.

All staff are exceptional here at Lavender House. Kind, caring, humble and make the effort to connect to all residents on a personal level. My grandmother can be very demanding and sometimes rude and these ladies have always treated her with love and kindness despite this. Anyone who comes to stay
is in amazing hands and can sleep well knowing the very best care is being provided to your family.

The care and compassion shown by all members of the team here at Lavender House is unsurpassed. It was a very traumatic time to move my dad into residential care but from the very first contact, my confidence was built. My dad's care is first class and he actually improved in his health when he came
here. All of the dedicated team are like family. Thank you.

Carers, housekeeping, kitchen staff, activities coordinator and maintenance were exceptionally helpful, caring, attentive to my needs and felt most welcome by everyone. I was so welcomed that I didn't want to leave Lavender House.

My grandad is always clean and tidy, he is always clean shaven. All of the staff at Lavender House know him by name and talk to him. They know his character, his likes and dislikes. The staff at Lavender House always give me an update on how Grandad has been through the week. They advise me if it is
OK to take him out and whether he needs his walker or his wheelchair.
They have patiently persevered with the treatment of his sore legs and done such a great job, they have healed so well. Thanks so much for everything.

The entertainment person is very good.
I have had a good rest after breaking my ankle. The staff looked after me well.
Food is home cooked and excellent.
Residents who are very old need a lot of help. Staff work long hours. Brilliant.

My mother has been well looked after by the staff at Lavender House for the last 5 years.
The areas that exceed expectations are food and activities. The staff have treated my mother with patience and dignity and have also been a huge support to me at times when things have been challenging.

The most wonderful place. If you have to be in a home, this is where you'd want to be. The staff are so cheerful and enthusiastic, even when stressed and tired. Lots of activities including pony visits, music, Bollywood night, 40's singing, trips to the zoo and walks in the park to name a few.

Mother says she is very satisfied. Staff dress her carefully, she has regular showers, hairdresser and nails. Staff always respond to the buzzer. My mother is happy when she goes to bed but finds being woken up at 6 am too early.
