View full details of The Tudors Care HomeTudor Care Home truly feels like a home in every sense of the word. The staff are absolutely wonderful - caring, patient, and genuinely kind. They take the time to know every resident by name, and it's clear that each person is treated as an individual, not just a number. There is always time for a chat, a smile, or a listening ear, which makes such a difference to residents' daily lives. What really stands out is how the residents are given a voice. They are listened to, respected, and encouraged to be involved in decisions about their care and daily routines, which creates a strong sense of dignity and independence. The home itself is spacious yet still feels warm and homely, with a real family atmosphere throughout. There is a good variety of food and drinks available, catering to different tastes and preferences, and mealtimes feel relaxed and social rather than rushed. Overall, Tudor Care Home has a genuine family feeling.
My Mother in Law has recently moved in after breaking her hip and being unable to walk presently. She is looked after at The Tudors by dedicated staff who care for her both day and night. She has settled in really well and is happy. Thank you to all the staff.
After a stroke and being in a bad situation alltogether his overall health mental and bodywise has improved significantly. He is now in such a better place than he was 6 months ago. The staff managers and everyone of The Tudors are just amazing people.
Standards of care to residents have dropped e.g. hearing aid batteries not replaced regularly enough, therefore can't have conversations on visits. No tea or coffee offered around 11 am to residents. For two weeks, there was not a kettle available to make tea or coffee, was told not had time to replace kettle (in this day and age can be ordered and obtained same day if not next day). My sister's having problems with finances. For the last few weeks, no activities have been available for residents.
We went to visit our husband/stepdad today and the atmosphere was lovely, the staff put songs on and the residents had a lovely time singing and dancing , well done to all the staff for such an enjoyable visit !! Keep it up !!
The care home provides a homely environment and my father is well looked after.
Very happy overall. Carers are lovely. Mum seems happy here and Mum's room is always clean.
Mother has been a resident for over 5 years. She is treated well, room always clean and tidy.
I am very pleased with the care at Tudors, my Dad is always clean and good. The rooms are nice and clean and Dad is happy at Tudors.
I could not be happier with the care, love and attention Mum receives. Despite her very challenging behaviour, the staff are always patient and upbeat. Quite frankly, I don't know how they do it. I have complete faith and peace of mind knowing that she is being cared for at Tudors. On top of outstanding care, the food is excellent. Shout out to the kitchen staff!
Always helpful and kind.
I cannot fault Tudor Care Home for the care being provided for my Mum and my family when we come to visit. Care and compassion were beyond my expectations. Thank you for the care towards my mum.
I find The Tudors safe and secure. When visiting you are always greeted with a smile. The management always acknowledges you when they walk through. The carers are excellent if you have a question they will always try and answer if they don't know then they will find out for you. The place is kept warm, with nice chairs for them to sit in and very good food.
The Tudors Care Home is an outstanding home. The carers look after residents especially well. The food is so good and variety is so good. My mother-in-law at first was always wanting to come home with us but soon settled in. She said the carers are lovely, the food is good and her bedroom is lovely. She said she had made lots of friends. The only thing that I think is there is only one toilet for several people.
My father has now been at The Tudors for 12 months. He is 93 years old and needs a lot of looking after. He is of sound mind, but his body is no longer what it was. He struggles to walk or wash himself. The care she has received has been excellent. The staff are always helpful and respectful. My dad is happy which is a great relief to his family.
Staff were always kind and attentive. Mum always felt safe and as family members, we also knew that she was protected throughout Covid. Staff made us feel welcome on visiting and always got Mum ready for us to take her out. Thank you for your care.
I have observed this care facility pre and post-Covid. Today I witnessed how the facility is dealing with the new concept of the resignation culture. My short notice attendance saw all my actions executed in a timely and professional manner by the interim manager. The secret of any success is nothing ever stays the same and it is how you cope and deal with change! Good work Tudors!
The most important thing at The Tudors Care Home is the caring staff. (They, like all care staff, are underpaid). Every time I visit I get a kind welcome as a resident visitor. If I ask anything for my dad, they do their best to help. Caring is one of the most difficult vocations, no one does it for the money. It is a very hard job with lots of abuse, they work from the heart. God bless you all.
Beautiful home, my mother is well looked after and her room is always clean. I have no worries about her being in the home. She has been there for a few years now, the staff are friendly, always smiling, helpful and always keep you in the loop of what’s going on.
My Dad originally went into the Tudors for respite care and as circumstances at home changed, he has remained there permanently. They were so accommodating when he originally went in at very short notice. They pulled out all the stops to get him settled in quickly. All the staff are fantastic and look after Dad as if he was part of their family. The Tudors have a real family feel and are always very welcoming when we visit. I couldn’t be happier with Dad’s care knowing he is safe and being well looked after.
