View Full Details of Driftwood HouseMy mother has been a resident at Driftwood for over 2 years, and she loves living there. The care staff are all wonderful, so kind, patient and efficient, and also very friendly. The food is also of very high quality, with lots of variety and plenty of fruit and vegetables. My sister and I wouldn't want our mum to be anywhere else, and our mum feels the same way. A brilliant place with amazing staff and facilities.
My father was sent to Driftwood House from the hospital at Kings Lynn and I extended his stay because he seemed settled. He has deteriorated quite a bit and I decided to move him closer to me so I could visit easier. He has always been treated well at this home, although he wants to go home, although this is no longer possible. The staff are always friendly and do their best to attend all the dementia patients to the best of their ability. No doubt he will miss all of them.
A fabulous time was had by all at the Mad Hatters tea party today. My brother & I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves & everyone joined in the fun. The staff were brilliant as always, very kind & very caring. Plenty of lovely food, drink & music to enjoy
The staff at Driftwood are so kind and helpful, they do an absolutely brilliant job of looking after my elderly father. There is a lovely, friendly atmosphere and nothing is too much trouble. It's not nice having a parent who needs 24 hour care but it is reassuring to know my father is being cared for so well. I would definitely recommend Driftwood to anyone else in a similar position.
My friend and ex-neighbour has been a resident at Driftwood House for some time now. The staff have looked after him incredibly well. He is treated with respect and the staff enable the residents to make their own decisions as to how they spend their time. The home went into lockdown as soon as Coronavirus hit our country - weeks before it became compulsory- to have the best chance of keeping the residents and staff virus free. This has been proven to be the best way as no resident or member of staff has contracted Covid-19. Visitors are allowed to talk to residents through the window or on the phone so they don't feel so isolated. The staff are always helpful and friendly as is the owner and I can't praise them enough for the care and attention they give to their residents
