Mum is currently a resident here and we decided to go away together for a few days. The staff supported mum by having all the clothes she needed packed and explained thoroughly in great detail about her medication to be taken and when while she was away. Great care and consideration was taken and is taken . Staff have a positive attitide, are kind and take time to talk about mum when I visit.

The wonderful staff of Driftwood House have been caring for my mother for just over three years and she is very happy there. Her room is comfortable and well-equipped, and all the staff are competent, friendly and very caring. Meals are well presented, nutritious and varied, with close attention paid to Mum's food preferences. The staff take an interest in my mother and go out of their way to spend time with her and keep her company. She would not want to live anywhere else, and we are very happy indeed that she is being so well cared for there.

For several years my late mother lived at this care home, she was treated with genuine kindness, patience, and dignity. The staff consistently showed her compassion, taking the time to understand her needs and making her feel valued every single day.
What always stood out most was the friendliness of the staff. Their ability to stay positive, calm, and reassuring made such a difference-not only to her, but to us as a family.

Overall, my mother received good, reliable, and thoughtful care throughout her many years there. The new improvements being introduced are a wonderful step forward and will only make the environment even better-more modern, more comfortable, and even more homely for the residents and their families. I am deeply grateful for everything the team did for my mother, especially in her final days, and I would not hesitate to recommend this care home.

My mother moved in to driftwood house in June 2025, originally just for 6weeks until a permanent place was found but she became so settled and happy there we decided to make her stay permanent. We definitely don't regret this decision as the staff are very professional and absolutely lovely, their attitude and dedication towards the residents is excellent, the house is clean and the other residents also seem very happy.

My mother has been a resident at Driftwood for over 2 years, and she loves living there. The care staff are all wonderful, so kind, patient and efficient, and also very friendly.
The food is also of very high quality, with lots of variety and plenty of fruit and vegetables.
My sister and I wouldn't want our mum to be anywhere else, and our mum feels the same way.

A brilliant place with amazing staff and facilities.

My father was sent to Driftwood House from the hospital at Kings Lynn and I extended his stay because he seemed settled. He has deteriorated quite a bit and I decided to move him closer to me so I could visit easier. He has always been treated well at this home, although he wants to go home, although this is no longer possible. The staff are always friendly and do their best to attend all the dementia patients to the best of their ability. No doubt he will miss all of them.

The staff at Driftwood are so kind and helpful, they do an absolutely brilliant job of looking after my elderly father. There is a lovely, friendly atmosphere and nothing is too much trouble. It's not nice having a parent who needs 24 hour care but it is reassuring to know my father is being cared for so well. I would definitely recommend Driftwood to anyone else in a similar position.

Overall Experience

My friend and ex-neighbour has been a resident at Driftwood House for some time now. The staff have looked after him incredibly well. He is treated with respect and the staff enable the residents to make their own decisions as to how they spend their time. The home went into lockdown as soon as Coronavirus hit our country - weeks before it became compulsory- to have the best chance of keeping the residents and staff virus free. This has been proven to be the best way as no resident or member of staff has contracted Covid-19. Visitors are allowed to talk to residents through the window or on the phone so they don't feel so isolated. The staff are always helpful and friendly as is the owner and I can't praise them enough for the care and attention they give to their residents
