My Dad has dementia and is cared for by the excellent staff & management. They have activities almost every day both on site and off site. My Mum and I visit as often as we can and always observe care and compassion from all the staff.

We are very happy for dad to be a resident and know he is well looked after.

We would not hesitate recommending this excellent care home to anyone with a a relative who is seeking a great place for their loved one to be cared for.

My dearest neighbour was in Redlands care home from April 2025 until the end of February 2026. Throughout this time he was treated with wonderful care dignity and respect. At times his care was challenging for the staff and regular discussions with management helped deal with this. Special thanks to the housekeeping staff for spending time with him, listening to his stories, looking through his photos and accommodating his wishes by always taking a sweet or chocolate. The difficult times in his final days highlighted what a wonderful care home, management and staffing team they are. The compassion and love they showed was amazing to him, me and his family. Special thanks to Rachel and John who washed him after he passed away and to John who made sure he left the home as the dapper chap he always was, suited, booted, clean shaven and holding his favourite chocolate bar. Thank you from the bottom of my heart

My mum went into Redlands after losing her mobility following a series of falls. She was treated with such care and kindness by the wonderful staff and management. The home was always clean, bright and cheerful and I was always made to feel welcome when I visited. Thank you all for caring for her so well.

Following a series of falls, my Mum moved to Redlands House for two weeks respite care, in the hope we might be able to break the cycle she had found herself in. Mum was really well cared for, with staff found to be friendly, approachable and really helpful, facilities clean and very well presented and the room spacious and well maintained. Mum made the decision to try independent living at the end of the respite care - and I'm happy to say that no further falls have happened in the two weeks since she has left. I put this down to the excellent care and treatment my Mum received at Redlands House which has allowed her to get her strength back. I really do recommend Redlands House and thank them for helping my Mum.

After several falls and a stay in hospital my mother was not strong enough to return to her home. We decided a 2 week stay at Redlands House was perfect. The manager and assistant manager were extremely helpful and the warmth of their personality is what made mums stay easier for us all to bear. Very clean rooms, well decorated, fantastic staff, respectful attitude to difficult circumstances. Thank you.

I was immediately phoned on my wife's transfer from hospital and made welcome on my first visit when I was reassorted about the care she would be given. That reassurance proved correct. All the staff seemed very kind and attentive to her needs and they got her to eat (which she failed to do in hospital). I have the comfort of feeling that she is in good hands.

My grandad was admitted to Relands House on a temporary basis for assessment for a six-week period. When he was admitted he had very limited mobility, was very anxious and had lost his ability to recall his long-term memory. When we visited after two weeks, he was walking with his walking frame with confidence, chatting with confidence and told us all about his routine at Redlands and the activities he'd been doing. Thank you to all at Redlands House for this amazing change in him.

My husband has been in the home for 3 months. The home was recommended to me and I felt that it was very homely. I have watched the staff interacting with the residents and the care they take.
The manager's door is always open and I feel very welcome there.

My husband loves the food and seems to be settled which is a great relief to me as I struggled to cope with his Alzheimers at home.
