My parents-in-law have been at St Mary's since March 2025. Both have moderate Alzheimer's and were no longer safe living at home. It was a big adjustment moving from initial respite to permanent residence, both for them and for my husband and his sisters, but it was carefully handled by the home,
and I have only the highest praise for the kind, caring, and helpful staff. Their room is comfortable, they are well cared for and respected, and their social life is better than my own!

I visited St Mary's today with my black labrador Max. The residents, guests and staff were in the main hall along with friends in Azza little visitors. All were having a great time with action songs and rymes. The morning was full of fun and I was so glad that I able to join them. Thank you for a
great time, Stephen and Max.

My parents have been here a month now and we have nothing but praise for St Mary's and all the staff. Everyone has been very helpful in helping them settle and answer all our questions. They have been very accommodating in helping us personalise their room with their own furniture and make the
transition as easy as possible.

Each and every one of the staff at St Mary's are fantastic and I can't praise them enough not just for the outstanding care they are providing to my mum, but also for the time they give me for questions and concerns I might have. The facilities are excellent, as well as the food, activities, overall
home, gardens, and surrounding area. The activities vary considerably and are never the same thing, always fun and entertaining. It's also great that the residents get to go out on a trip in a mini bus every now and then, to the Cathedral or the coast for example. St Mary's under the previous ownership was fine, but with Kingsley it has improved vastly and I have my peace of mind knowing my mum is in good hands and being taken care of. A huge thank you to all at St Mary's.

Put mum in for respite, initial tour was very informative. All the staff were very friendly, facilities are good, lots of activities, although mum is finding it difficult to settle in, the staff are still very patient. So far so good.

Everywhere is clean and staff are pleasant.

A big thank you to all of the staff at St Mary's. You are fantastic!
Your friendly, supportive, caring and fun loving attitude makes visiting and being a resident at the home such a happy experience.
What a wonderful time was had by all with the Elvis impersonator. Staff, residents and family all
joining in. Water fights on hot weekends to soak staff. Visits out and invitations in for lunch on Father's day. My father has only been a resident at St Mary's for a few months and we are so relieved and grateful at how caring, friendly and enthusiastic the staff are and how clean and homely the building is and how beautiful and accessibly the gardens are.
Many thanks

All the staff are so friendly and smiling when we go in, and make us most welcome ,mum looks well cared for, there are lots of activities and stimulation for the residences and for the families to join in as well

Staff remain friendly and hospitable. I like the option to have something to eat alongside Mum. There's always a cup of coffee on offer. Sometimes there is an issue with Mum having stained clothes or needing a change, but this is addressed promptly when highlighted. Overall, Mum's condition is
progressing but she remains in reasonable fettle with a good appetite. Still think it's daft not to have wipeable chairs.

My mother has always been very well looked after and cared for. The staff are kind, empathetic and very caring and professional. Everyone here goes above and beyond to welcome you and it really does have a lovely atmosphere. The care my mother receives is excellent and I feel comfort knowing she is
in safe hands.

The Council have been trying to move my mother to another residential home dye to the costs, all the staff have been very helpful and concerned for my mum's well being and offered help and advice for me in an attempt to prevent the move. Thankfully there is a positive outcome after 7 months of worry
for me and Mum is staying at St Mary's Care Home. Our family is very grateful for all the concern shown by staff and for the managers help and negotiations.

Mum was given a room after hospital discharge on Christmas eve. Having met the manager and deputy prior to this we received outstanding support and help. Mum has been given the care, support and medical help she needs without questions. I cannot praise the staff highly enough for their continued not
only through the Christmas period but also for their valued support, informed and knowing of mum's care. We cannot consider anywhere else to take mum other than here. They are outstanding.

From the initial call to St Mary's Care Home I cannot fault anyone or anything. The care required for my uncle was immediate and St Mary's did everything to accept him swiftly and over the busy Christmas period as well.
The staff, rooms, food and hospitality are all amazing. As a family we can't
rate St Mary's highly enough. Knowing my uncle is safe and cared for is such a relief and knowing we can visit anything is also very reassuring. They offer a very personal service and I would recommend it to anyone.

My mum has been in St Mary's for an initial four-week temporary stay after having been in hospital, after a haemorrhagic stroke for ten weeks. She already had Alzheimer's and the stroke has advanced this condition. Myself and my sister's have been impressed with the care Mum has received from all
the staff at St Mary's from the Manager and admin staff, care workers to the domestic staff. They have all been really nice. Several of the staff have remembered mine and my sister's names too, which is really nice when we visit. There is a really nice, calm atmosphere. Bright, airy, and clean. Nice dining area for residents to have their meals. Overall would recommend to others looking for a nice place for an elderly relative to live if they need to be in a safe place with 24-hour care.

Very nice home & very welcoming. Carers are very attentive & the makeover looks great. Everyone has been so good to us since Mum moved in but special mention to the Hospitality manager, he has made us feel very welcome and one Nurse in particular has been so sweet and caring.
