I have visited a few times since before Christmas and found the lady I visit happy and content. The staff are all Very helpful and always asking if we need anything x couldn't fault anything during my visits

The manager and staff at York House are always very welcoming when we arrive. The home is clean and very pleasant to look at. The staff are friendly and always offer drinks and snacks. The Christmas Party was exceptional in entertainment, atmosphere and food provided. We were sorry that we could not
accept their invitation to go for Christmas lunch.
Dad looked forward to his stay there over New Year's while we visited family further away than he can now travel.
Dad's respite stays there mean that we get to relax and recharge the batteries knowing that he will be cared for at the highest standard. He always likes to know the next dates that he will be back before he leaves!
A lovely home with lovely people.

Thank you to all the staff who made the Christmas party exceptional from the attentive care from staff and management to the wonderful food and entertainment. They worked so hard on this event making it a real pleasure to attend even down to the amazing decorations, and great costumes worn by staff.

I have visited York House several times with my family to visit an aunt, to a pleasure to go there, staff are very friendly nothing is too much trouble, this nursing home is the best one I have been in.

The home is clean - welcomed when I go there. Food is excellent, outstanding coffee cake when I go to the home. Always fresh and clean.

We visited my aunt along with several other family members to wish her well on her 97th birthday.
On arrival we were offered tea or coffee which was a nice surprise.
We were treated to a wonderful spread of food including savouries and cakes etc by the home/staff and were made to feel very
welcome.
Overall a lovely afternoon spending a few hours with her on her birthday and I'm sure she enjoyed it as much as us.
Everyone involved deserves a big thank you.

Mum's 100th birthday, the spread was incredible and the cake and decorations were beautiful. (Sally you did a fantastic job with the food.)

Our overall experience at York House is very good. The carers are excellent and always available should we need help or advice. The only problem we have is how long we have to wait to be let in however we fully understand this is due to safety reasons.

It was my auntie's 100th birthday and family and friends all attended a little party gathering. The room was decorated very well and service and food was excellent.

Father-In-Law has been in York House for nearly 8 months now, and he really likes it there, and to know he likes being there, and is being looked after very well, gives us peace of mind. Thanks to everyone for all their care.

We are very happy with the care Dad receives. And the extra mile the staff go to help him. I can not fault the home, everyone is friendly and are always willing to help. I'm happy to know Dad's safe and happy.

Today I called in to see my friend & I was very impressed at how soon I was let in by a lovely aldy with a big smile, so always a good start, she took me to my friends room.

I have found York House to be a very caring and considerate home where my friend has fit in lovely and looks physically and is mentally thriving. All staff are really caring and there are many activities to stimulate him. The BBQ for friends and family recently was fantastic and a really lovely
afternoon was had.

Despite ongoing safeguarding issues (now resolved), I am very impressed with the staff, management and care provided at York House. The support, patience and respect shown to my mother during this difficult period has been 1st class. Residents here are well cared for by an excellent team and I would
definitively recommend this care home.

My wife said the care home was nice, staff caring but a bit rushed. Entertainment was unpleasantly loud for her.

I visit my friend on a regular basis and I have always been made welcome with a cup of coffee and biscuit. I have found the premises clean, the resident happy and well cared for. My friend is very happy and content living here.
