Mum has been at Harleston House for 3 1/2 years. Her care has been excellent through out as her condition has declined. All the carers have time to talk to mum so they can address her wishes and needs. Mum is less able to join some of the activities but is still included when she is interested, I am
very happy mum chose to live in Harleston House which has become her home.

Harleston House is a very welcoming and warm home filled with happiness, love and lots of laughter. All the carers and activity coordinators are worth their weight in gold. A lovely, relaxed environment for service users and their families. Highly recommended.

Mum has been in Harleston House for 18 months now. I am one of three sisters, and we are all very happy with the care she receives on a daily basis. The home itself is warm and welcoming with a pretty garden. Mum's room is light and airy and always clean. The staff are lovely and really do care
about the residents. Mum is always clean and in clean clothes every day. The food is very good, and the entertainment and activities are endless. As a family, we feel that mum is receiving the best care she possibly could, outside of the family home, which unfortunately, we are unable to provide 24/7

Overall satisfied , good staff always willing to assist. good atmosphere for residents. Family members are always welcomed. Food and drink are available at all times. Activity staff are always accommodating. There is a a lot going on for the residents to do at all times. Medical issues are addressed
without any problems.

Overall, a very good care home. Mum is safe and happy, which is the most important thing. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The excellent activities and entertainment staff are always upbeat and try to include all residents in activities. I know if I have any concerns I can just ring.

My aunt has been in your care for over a year now. She appears to be happy and content. She is always clean and tidy. The food always looks amazing, and plenty of fluids. The entertainment is brilliant, lots of variety, everyone appears to enjoy it, and all the staff appear to be happy in their
workplace. Well done. Keep it up.

I cannot praise this care home enough. The staff are absolutely wonderful and it gives me great peace of mind knowing my mum is so well looked after. She is genuinely happy there, which means everything to me.
The level of care, kindness, and attention she receives is outstanding, and the
activities are amazing - there is always something engaging going on that keeps her active and smiling. It truly feels like a home, not just a care facility.

I have nothing but positive things to say about this care home. From everything I've seen, the standard of care is excellent and my relative is very well looked after. The staff are kind, attentive, and genuinely amazing, and it's clear they really care about the residents. It's reassuring to know

I have been visiting a friend of a service user for 2 years now and have become very fond of the staff and other service users.
The carers and activities lead are very bright, confident and always very welcoming and extremely caring and professional to our families, friends and service users.
I
enjoy coming in to see my friend and to also have a friendly chat with others.
I have made a couple of friends from just coming into the home also and I always feel so comfortable being around everyone.
The carers work so hard in their jobs and even when sometimes it becomes challenging for them, they don't ever show strain or change character.
I really think this home is one of the most friendliest and brightest homes I've been in.

We are very happy with Harleston House. My father has a very good relationship with all the staff. The staff are so caring and hardworking. Everyone is so kind to hum, nurses, carers, cleaners... everyone! I am so happy we found this residence.

This care home time after time exceeds expectations. Their wish come true and warmth of care initiatives created by their activity manager have been superb. My mother had a visit from a Shetland pony to the home, a group of residents celebrated the handing over of the lamp to start the pre-VE
celebrations. So much so both have created much interest from local papers, radio and tv. If ever there was an award for care home of the year then this one should win it. The staff treat residents as if they were part of their own family. To be honest, I cant praise them enough, thank you Harleston House!

Our overall experience is excellent. Dad has been treated with dignity and is looking better than he has for months. The care and support is wonderful. Staff are respectful and friendly. The management is obviously top class as the home is run so well. Dad's room is lovely. He has a window so he
can see the sky and we were able to put up his pictures and bring his own chair in. Everywhere is clean and well maintained. The food and drink look delicious - it's a long time since Dad has eaten so well. There are plenty of stimulating and fun activities going on daily and participation is not mandatory. Family as so pleased Dad is received the proper care as we discovered that we were unable to provide this.

We really enjoyed our visit to Harleston House and seeing our relative so happy. She joined in with all of the many activities as did we. The singers that came into entertain us were excellent and we all really enjoyed a good sing-along. We stayed for lunch every day and the food was lovely with a
good selection to meet everyone's needs. The staff were so kind and friendly and the whole atmosphere of the home was of caring and kindness. Everything you could wish for your relative.

From our first unscheduled visit to Harleston House and the subsequent stay that my Mum had, the staff were all so friendly, professional and caring. The service we received as a family could not be faulted, and my Mum absolutely loved her respite stay. I have no hesitation in recommending the home
or having my Mum stay again.

My mum has been a resident at Harleston House since September 2023. She arrived with very complex needs and has been treated so beautifully by all the staff and always with dignity and respect. She is treated as an individual with her needs tailored too. Harleston staff have become an extended
family to both my mum and ourselves.

The experience myself and my family have had over the past few years is nothing but brilliant. The staff are great and the management just the same. The people who do the activities are vrey thoughtful and caring towards all residents. I have been contacted and kept up to date of my mum's condition
and welfare to an incredible standard.

My dear friend booked herself into Harleston House for end-of-life care. I visited her on many occasions and witnessed the care, compassion and friendship she received from all staff from the manager to the cleaner. The welcome she received, the peace she found and the love she felt made all the
difference with the standards to her last weeks and days. I could not have been more impressed with the standards of cleanliness and hygiene I found or with the level of personal care my friend received. I was always welcomed into the house (along with my dog) and never made to feel like an imposter or a nuisance to staff as they went about their business in a most professional but caring way. In her last few weeks on this earth - my friend found the family she had craved all her life.

My wife has been a resident at Harleston House after a horrendous 3 months plus in 2 different hospitals and 1 other care home. She is there on 6 week trial. We have just completed week 4 and I hope she can stay there for the future. From management to carers, kitchen staff, cleaners and handyman
and driver. Magnificent.

From the first point of contact, showing me around the care home, to the support given throughout the process of introducing Mum into the home and settling her in, we have been so impressed with the care and friendliness of all staff. They cannot do enough for you, and the only home I contacted
where you didn't need an appointment to visit. Mum's room is spacious, modern and warm; she is allowed privacy and has been gently introducing Mum into activities she would like. She has settled really well and is extremely happy. I would thoroughly recommend Harlston House, and do regularly, for anyone looking for top-class care and staff who get to know you personally. A real home from home! I can return to Australia knowing she's in the best care. Thank you.

My mum has been a resident of Harleston House for almost nine years. Mum is very settled, she is well looked after and has her own lovely room which is kept spotless. If Mum wants she can have a quiet time there or she can go downstairs to sit with others or take part in daily activities which are
different every day. Throughout the years all staff and management have supported and cared for her in a caring and professional manner and they always have time to chat with her. They are also supportive to us as a family and will always be there to listen. I can say without doubt that Harleston House is a five star home that I would recommend to everyone.
