Living so far away is always a worry but I couldn't wish for better care of my Mum. Recently having to be seen by paramedics, and checked over in A&E, the staff at Highfield kept me constantly updated with phone calls. Mum also has some complicated dietary issues and Highfield do their best to meet
her needs. The home is always spotlessly clean and they arrange a variety of activities for residents. Overall, Mum is very well looked after. Thank you Highfield House.

We moved our friend to Highfield's and could not be happier with the decision.
The staff take time to get to know their residents and adapt the care depending on their needs.
The staff always have time to stop and chat to everyone always saying hello to everyone during their working day.
The
management and staff are kind, attentive and nothing is too much trouble.
There is always entertainment and activities on for those who choose to join in and quiet spaces for those not so keen.
The home home is kept to a very high level of cleanliness and the food options are very good, always seems to be something for everyone.
I cannot recommend this home enough to anyone looking for somewhere to move to or to move a relative into. Nothing is too much trouble and it feels like a real home environment for everybody.

My mum lived at Highfield House for the final months of her life. During this time she was extremely well cared for. In fact I believe the staff went above and beyond in every aspect of her care.
At the end of her life the compassion shown to her was both heart warming and admirable.
She was kept
comfortable and given a truly dignified end to a long life.
Throughout her time at Highfield House I found responses to any questions or concerns I had immediate and effective.
I felt from my first visit that my mum was very safe here which afforded me great comfort.
The kindness and support shown to myself when my mum was in the last few hours of her life was truly remarkable and I shall never forget the good hearts and kind words of the staff.
Hard working conscientious kind management and staff make this place very special.
I will be forever grateful for the care they gave my dear mum.

We have moved our friend to highfield care home recently & we could not ask for better care. All of the staff have a high level of compassion and provide excellent patient care. A special mention to Natalie and Leslie who have made the transition so easy - they are amazing people who give their all
to the home. Would thoroughly recommend Highfield's to anyone looking to find a home for their loved ones. I cannot fault anything at this lovely home.

Highfield is very welcoming to my husband and to me. Two particular members of staff always greet us warmly and spend time catching up before I leave my husband in their very capable hands.
He is always happy to go into Highfield and seems relaxed and calm when I go in to see him or bring him
home.
The staff talk to us and each other and greet us by names. They are always ready to help or solve a problem.
We spent a very happy Open Day last week in the lovely garden with a fashion show presented by residents, stalls of home made goods, a barbecue and an Elvis impersonator.
It is a home with a warm welcome, a 'can do' attitude and a sense of humour!

I have been very pleased with the level of care for my Mum who lived here for four years, she passed away in May this year. My Step-father continues to receive good care here.
I feel the care and all the services with in the home have continued to improve since my parents first moved there four
years ago. Now at a very high standard in comparison.
Certain members of staff have gone beyond the call of duty to improve the care of my parents.
I have found staff easy to approach and engage in any concerns for my parents. I am very happy to recommend this care home.

Our Dad arrived a few weeks ago and has settled in very well right from the first day. He enjoys the meals - especially the breakfasts, and is happy being looked after and helped every day. As a family we feel reassured that he is happy in this new environment and we now have peace of mind about
him and that he has full supervision, help and support night and day. Yesterday it was a pleasure to see him join in and engage in some activities during the afternoon, All the staff are very friendly and helpful and the house and extensive gardens are lovely. We're very happy that Dad is in Highfield House.

All staff are very attentive and caring of the residents. The home has a positive energy which helps all the residents, it's a comfort to know that my uncle has the company of other residents and staff, there are a number of lovely rooms where the residents can socialise, as well as now it's warming
up the lovely garden.

My dad has lived at Highfield House for two and a half years. I have always found the staff to be amazing, so caring and kind, nothing is too much trouble. They look after my dad and all his quirky ways with kindness.
The management are brilliant and always keep me up to date with what's going on
with my Dad, even the small things.
If I have any issues I just call and they go and check on dad or sort out the issue no matter how small.
I feel so lucky that we found this fabulous care home and would 100% recommend the care there to anyone.
Thanks for the continued care for my dad it's really appreciated.
The only reason I have put a 4 for food and drink is that dad loves big Yorkshire puddings and is not keen on the ones at Highfield, but the food is great.

Most of the staff are amazing they care for the residents as they would care for their own family they work super hard and nothing is too much trouble. The food is great and the residents want for nothing. Some teething problems but this is to be expected I guess and they were quickly corrected.
Residents seem happy and they have a great selection of entertainment keeping everyone active and occupied. Super grateful for the carers.

The new manager has tightened up things, and it feels a lot more professional - her experience with dementia is a bonus as is visiting without the need for pre-booking - messaging by phone is swift and reassuring. Always a friendly welcoming atmosphere, clean, nicely decorated, no smells, and a
lovely team of people in all departments. The few I didn't rate highly have left. It would be good to meet the night staff. All staff work long hours and it would be nice to feel they had a little more time to check on frailer residents with dementia - things such as warmth and general comfortability and tidy wardrobes and drawers etc. The tea trolley is always a welcome treat especially the homemade cakes!

My mum is thriving. She has come out of her shell, she has made friends, and has put on weight. She is also enjoying being alive and it's all thanks to you guys. All Really lovely place for her to live in.

I have been continually impressed and reassured by the service and compassion offered by the staff at Highfield.
Mum has been supported and looked after well. She enjoys the food, activities and the facilities in her room.
Any questions I have had as a family member have been answered in full and

Initially, the home has well-kept gardens, frontage and interior. The management are very good, and try to accommodate your requests and new residents. Staff are friendly and hard working. The interior is bright and importantly clean. Each room has ensuite facilities. The home is warm, but not
overheated, which is ideal. There are communal, clean areas for residents and visitors, a courtyard, and well maintained rear garden. I would think Highfields would be one of the best residential homes in the region, overall very good.

The care, kindness and attention to detail in every aspect given from all the staff at Highfield to my mother was outstanding. All staff were all loving, and helpful. Nothing was ever too much to ask of them. They truly are an amazing team.

So much care and love was given to my nan for the short period of time she was there. Nothing was ever too much for the staff at Highfield. They were always so welcoming to me and my family when we visited. Always smiling and happy which was relayed onto all of the residents.

I'm extremely happy with my aunt's care at Highfield. The staff are very helpful and always friendly. I have a very positive relationship with the management and am always kept updated with my aunt's health and situation. The home is very clean and seems a very comfortable environment to be a

The care my mother receives at Highfields is of a high standard. The staff are always friendly and kind and readily spend time with the residents and their visitors.
My mother has been at Highfields for over a year now and regularly tells us she has had a lovely day, whether she has been sitting in
the conservatory looking over the well-kept gardens, or joining in with organised activities.
