Dad moved in to Uvedale Hall at the end of July after a number of weeks in hospital. It has been a huge adjustment for him, but the staff are nothing short of amazing. They are all so caring and supportive. Uvedale Hall has a real homely atmosphere and the whole team treat the residents like family. I can't express after a difficult time, what a relief it is to know that dad in such a lovely place receiving the very best of care.

My mum has now been a resident at Uvedale Hall for about 3 years now. The manager who is there now and was also there at the beginning of Mum's stay is fantastic. She has been great with mum and equally good with us as relatives. Her staff are always helpful, polite, and best of all, very, very patient! Couldn't fault my mum's care at all. The home has a lovely atmosphere, warm and friendly.

Dad has been a resident at Uvedale Hall for nearly a year now and we could not wish for better care. Nothing is ever too much trouble for the staff and there is a lovely family atmosphere. Dad has settled in well and is very happy there. The manager and her team have achieved a real home from home, caring and cheerful care home. We could not have chosen better, thank you.

I was very impressed with the atmosphere at Uvedale Hall. The staff were very friendly and my aunt is very happy there. The rooms were very clean and were an inviting place to enjoy. My aunt really likes all the staff and appreciates the care she is given. She enjoys being able to attend the garden and feed the birds from her room.

Mum has been at Uvedale Hall now for 18 months, and we couldn't be happier. The accommodation is lovely and homely, and the program of activities is first class, but what really makes it special is the fantastic team of people that work there. Everyone is so helpful, dedicated and upbeat. In what can be difficult times for families, they really take a weight off your shoulders.

Today - 1st of July we had a care plan review for my Dad. This was with the manager, deputy manager and senior. This was absolutely brilliant so informative and I could suggest things about Dad's care too. Really helped me & Dad. Thank you all at Uvedale Hall and the manager. Such a good idea to do this review for Dad.

My mum came to Uvedale Hall as we loved the home from home feel it has. Whilst mum was there we couldn't fault the love and care she received. I have no hesitation in recommending Uvedale to anyone looking for care.

From start to finish as a family we were impressed with the care of our mum. Sadly mum had to go into hospital and unable to return due to her needs. But would and have recommended Uvedale Hall to anyone looking for a care home for a loved family member. From the management to carers & other staff most helpful caring and an understanding ear to talk to and listen to your concerns. Only wish she was able to return.

I have completed my mum's care place review today. All involved now have a clear picture of what a daily routine of events looks like. Thus, allowing for the very best of support in care for Mum, a deeper understanding for staff as to how small improvements make a big difference. Adjustments have been efficiently recorded for staff to access and follow through. Regular contact and discussions to continue, enabling relevant care.

I attended mums care plan review today. I found the process very helpful and the care manager explained everything in great detail and was also to answer any queries I had. Whenever I visit Mum she is always well dressed. clean & tidy and I know she is well looked after by the team at Uvedale Hall. I always ask her how she is - does she have any feedback and her reply is I have no grumbles! What is there to grumble about this home is amazing everything you want is provided.

Overall I have found Uvedale Hall good in lots of places, excellent in others. My friend was in Uvedale for 16 months and she always praised the food and the staff. I did find items in her drawers that were not hers. The staff seemed to try to make life as pleasant as possible.The activities seemed to be at a high level and varied. With encouragement to join in. There is also an attempt to get the community to join in.

Dad is very well looked after, the staff are so friendly and kind, they are like family to him. He was recently very ill, some of the staff returned in the evening as they were worried about him - some after a 12 hour shift, we are so impressed and grateful. Dad also very much enjoys the entertainment in the afternoon which is quite exceptional including live music, quizzes, crafts, games and his favourite bingo. How they think of things which the guests can do is amazing, we never new dad was so good at painting. Also he really enjoys the food, must mention that. Many thanks to all staff at Uvedale.

My friend is always happy with her care, the carers are always friendly and helpful on my weekly visits. I think the fact that my friend arranges all her visits for the mornings because she doesn't want to miss the activities speaks volumes, they are organised by a staff member full of enthusiasm, who engages the residents brilliantly.

The outstanding factor is the amazing care provided by all the staff. The facility is perfect for Mum. Her family and friends are so happy to have Mum safe and cared for. Thank you Uvedale Hall!

Mum moved permanently into Uvedale in November 2020, after a few weeks respite care. We cannot praise Uvedale highly enough, there is a wonderful family atmosphere, very caring, and lots of fun. The Manager and her team go out of their way to make residents and visitors welcome. There are delicious homemade meals, wonderful birthday cakes, teatime treats. Standards of cleanliness are excellent, the building and grounds are beautiful, lovingly maintained and so relaxing, it really is a home from home. They really get to know the residents and Mum settled in very quickly. You can visit whenever you want to. There are activities in the afternoons, craft, gentle exercise, games. Families are invited to parties which are great fun. I must also mention the standard of detail on administering medication is outstanding. If mum is struggling with one of her medications, they speak to the GP and find solutions. We feel so lucky to have found Uvedale. Thank you all very much.

Excellent home, staff very caring. The cleanliness and food are excellent. Residents all appear very well cared for. Great attention to detail, especially around holidays with brilliant decorations. Would highly recommend Uvedale Hall.

My grandma moved into Uvedale earlier this year, and I cannot fault anything. As soon as you step into the home, it’s such a warm, welcoming place, and the team are always so lovely and friendly, which made Grandma feel at ease and settle in very quickly when moving here. We recently came along to the Uvedale Christmas party, and it was so heartwarming to see all the residents take part and smile away with the team, family and friends, taking part in the raffle, singling along to Christmas songs, an amazing buffet by the lovely chef and the local pop chorus choir. I cannot recommend Uvedale Hall highly enough, as how my grandma and other residents are so truly loved and cared for by every single person in the team.
