View Full Details of St Anne'sMy mother stayed here for a 2 week respite with the option of ongoing care here! As soon as we walked though the door it was homely and welcoming! Her room was clean and spacious even had a little kitchenette so she could have a little bit of independence if she wanted it! The dining room, Day room and tv room are bright and airy, and all in the 1950's style with was lovely! The food looked amazing! The staff went above and beyond to help her settle in and make her feel safe and welcome! I would love to be in a home like this when my time comes! Thank you St Anns for making it so nice for mum and for making a stressful situation into an easy one!
My mother was fortunate to spend the final 2 and a half years of her life in this care home. When you walk through the doors, it feels so different to the archetypal care home. It's light, bright and modern, no unpleasant aromas and a cheerful welcome from all the staff you encounter. It feels like a hotel rather than a residential home. My mother's room was amazing. Ensuite facilities and a small kitchenette which made her feel self contained and safe. She valued her privacy and this was very important in helping her settle and feel at home. She had a choice of eating in the dining room with the other residents or staying in her room. The staff always facilitated her choices and she appreciated their efforts. The food is exemplary and of a high standard. My mother passed away in June and our family are indebted to all the amazing staff at St Annes. They were compassionate, kind, empathetic and cared for us too. It is a great comfort to our family; we shall be eternally grateful.
Dad has been at St Anne's for 18months now and he's very happy here. I can't fault St Anne's- the staff from top to bottom are all amazing. Communication is excellent, care first class, food very good and all cooked on site by wonderful kitchen staff. GP response to requests for Primary care is very good.
Everyone at the home are extremely pleasant. They are patent and kind. They take the time to learn about the resident, family connections etc. They take time to find out their favourite needs, where they like to go, what time they like to go to bed and what time they like to get up. All in all an extremely pleasant atmosphere to be in.
An overwhelming friendly & relaxed atmosphere is evident as soon as enter St Anne's. All staff are friendly & welcoming to visitors & staff alike who respond very positively in the supportive approach throughout the care home.
As a family we have been so pleased with the care and welcome at St. Anne's. We are happy to see how dad has settled, and are truly appreciative of the team, and their kindness.
Very good, Mum was recently admitted to hospital for a period and they commented how good her results were in terms of Mum's conditions, meds etc. On Mum's return, she was lavished with attention which eased her worries about coming back, they are always very attentive and caring.
My mum has dementia and spent time in hospital. She was very anxious about returning. They were brilliant, made her feel welcome and restored her confidence. She is now happy and feels like she is at home.
My Aunty was a resident of St Anne's Care Home and was treated so well, she loved it there. All staff are marvellous and nothing is ever too much to do. Strongly Recommend. 5-star treatment given at all times.
I would like to thank all the staff at St Anne's for the wonderful care and kindness shown to Mum and ourselves over the last 4 years. The difficult last week of her life was full of warmth, care, and kindness from all members of staff. Thank you from all our family.
The staff at St Anne's continue to provide a high standard of compassionate and positive care for Mum who has now been a resident for nearly two years. As her needs have changed over that time they have been responsive in altering her care plan and take a truly person-centred approach. St Anne's is a positive environment both in terms of the high standard of decor and cleanliness but also due to the warm, welcoming and cheerful attitude of the staff. Thank you again for all that you are doing.
We viewed St Anne's when it became necessary to source residential care for my Mother. We were so impressed! Staff - Everybody we encountered was friendly and welcoming. It also struck us that St Anne's is well-staffed. Premises - so clean and well maintained. Careful thought has been given to make it as near to a home from home as possible. My Mother after a difficult start has now settled in and is well cared for. Many thanks.
My mother has been a resident of St Anne's for the last two years and recently celebrated her 100th birthday. St Anne's put on a 100th birthday party for residents and family on the big day and ensured that the occasion was marked in style. A few days later St Anne's provided the upstairs lounge for a small family and friends party which was attended by the local mayor. Both parties were greatly enjoyed by Mum and all who attended. Over the last two years my mum has been looked after with great love and care by all the staff at St Anne's. She greatly enjoys the many activities organised by St Anne's, especially the singing. Our family greatly appreciates the care and kindness Mum is shown. St Anne's is a great place for the residents to live. It is a safe and caring environment.
Excellent time, helped me recuperate after illness.
Amazing care home. Staff could not do enough for my nan and nothing was too much. We celebrated her birthday this month and they went beyond to make her feel special on her day. Honestly, it's the best home and like I said the staff are amazing.
Mum has been here just over a year now and what a difference your care home has made to Mum's and my life. A few early disappointments but once I got used to what you do for Mum overall has been excellent. All the staff are very caring and helpful whenever I visit and most importantly whenever I visit and most important Mum is happy with you all. So thanks for looking after her.
My mother only arrived a couple of weeks ago and was very nervous but was made to feel at ease straight away by the lovely staff. St Anne's has exceeded my expectations the whole service i.e. staff, care, room, food are fab. Thank you to all the staff you are amazing.
St Anne's is a superb care home. I am very grateful that my mother was able to find a home here. The staff are friendly, caring, kind and provide a happy atmosphere. My brother and I have excellent communication with the management and feel included in our mother's care. Her room is clean, bright and comfortable with an interesting view. The management have worked hard to create a stimulating environment. Staff sometimes struggle to keep up with multiple demands in their time but work hard to respond to needs as quickly as possible. Overall - excellent! Many thanks!
A caring home with friendly welcoming staff. Mum receives excellent care and support by all staff.
St Anne's was chosen because of the interaction between carers and residents. It was not just for show! It happens all the time and confirms our choice. My wife has settled in well and being well cared for, a tremendous weight off my mind.
