Anchor’s St Anne's, in Saltash, is a purpose-built home supporting up to 33 older people to live a comfortable lifestyle, as well as providing dementia care. It was rated Outstanding by the CQC in their most recent report in March 2021 and continues to welcome new residents.

The home is located in a quiet area within a short distance of the River Tamar and the Tamar Bridge. A range of care services is available at St Anne's, including convalescence care, respite care, trial stays and long term care.

Residents can participate in stimulating activities organised by the care team, taking into account individual and group interests. These take place in both the home and the local community.

Each resident’s individual needs are regularly assessed to ensure their care plans meet their lifestyle requirements. Residents are offered menus which are freshly made by a highly trained catering team, using locally sourced produce where possible.

My mother stayed here for a 2 week respite with the option of ongoing care here! As soon as we walked though the door it was homely and welcoming! Her room was clean and spacious even had a little kitchenette so she could have a little bit of independence if she wanted it! The dining room, Day room
and tv room are bright and airy, and all in the 1950's style with was lovely! The food looked amazing! The staff went above and beyond to help her settle in and make her feel safe and welcome! I would love to be in a home like this when my time comes! Thank you St Anns for making it so nice for mum and for making a stressful situation into an easy one!

My mother was fortunate to spend the final 2 and a half years of her life in this care home. When you walk through the doors, it feels so different to the archetypal care home. It's light, bright and modern, no unpleasant aromas and a cheerful welcome from all the staff you encounter. It feels like
a hotel rather than a residential home.
My mother's room was amazing. Ensuite facilities and a small kitchenette which made her feel self contained and safe. She valued her privacy and this was very important in helping her settle and feel at home. She had a choice of eating in the dining room with the other residents or staying in her room. The staff always facilitated her choices and she appreciated their efforts.
The food is exemplary and of a high standard.
My mother passed away in June and our family are indebted to all the amazing staff at St Annes. They were compassionate, kind, empathetic and cared for us too. It is a great comfort to our family; we shall be eternally grateful.

Dad has been at St Anne's for 18months now and he's very happy here. I can't fault St Anne's- the staff from top to bottom are all amazing. Communication is excellent, care first class, food very good and all cooked on site by wonderful kitchen staff.

Everyone at the home are extremely pleasant. They are patent and kind. They take the time to learn about the resident, family connections etc. They take time to find out their favourite needs, where they like to go, what time they like to go to bed and what time they like to get up. Very good, Mum was recently admitted to hospital for a period and they commented how good her results were in terms of Mum's conditions, meds etc.
On Mum's return, she was lavished with attention which eased her worries about coming back, they are always very attentive and caring.

The staff at St Anne's continue to provide a high standard of compassionate and positive care for Mum who has now been a resident for nearly two years. As her needs have changed over that time they have been responsive in altering her care plan and take a truly person-centred approach. St Anne's is

We viewed St Anne's when it became necessary to source residential care for my Mother. We were so impressed!
Staff - Everybody we encountered was friendly and welcoming. It also struck us that St Anne's is well-staffed.
Premises - so clean and well maintained. Careful thought has been given to make
it as near to a home from home as possible.

My mother has been a resident of St Anne's for the last two years and recently celebrated her 100th birthday. St Anne's put on a 100th birthday party for residents and family on the big day and ensured that the occasion was marked in style. A few days later St Anne's provided the upstairs lounge for
a small family and friends party which was attended by the local mayor. Both parties were greatly enjoyed by Mum and all who attended. Over the last two years my mum has been looked after with great love and care by all the staff at St Anne's. She greatly enjoys the many activities organised by St Anne's, especially the singing. Our family greatly appreciates the care and kindness Mum is shown. St Anne's is a great place for the residents to live. It is a safe and caring environment.

Amazing care home. Staff could not do enough for my nan and nothing was too much. We celebrated her birthday this month and they went beyond to make her feel special on her day. Honestly, it's the best home and like I said the staff are amazing.

Mum has been here just over a year now and what a difference your care home has made to Mum's and my life. A few early disappointments but once I got used to what you do for Mum overall has been excellent. All the staff are very caring and helpful whenever I visit and most importantly whenever I visit

St Anne's is a superb care home. I am very grateful that my mother was able to find a home here. The staff are friendly, caring, kind and provide a happy atmosphere. My brother and I have excellent communication with the management and feel included in our mother's care.
Her room is clean, bright and
comfortable with an interesting view. The management have worked hard to create a stimulating environment. Staff sometimes struggle to keep up with multiple demands in their time but work hard to respond to needs as quickly as possible. Overall - excellent! Many thanks!
