I have been at the above home 4 months and at first was cross with my family for bringing me here. But there has been a big change. I find the staff here are top notch. I can have a laugh with them and being the age I am can be grumpy. I would like to think that all my age group feel the same if not I don't know what they want. Thank you girls for your care.

Review of Beechfield Lodge from L C (Daughter of Resident) published on 21 August 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
After a recent illness my mother needed care home support which was quite a worry for the family.
However, the staff at Beechfield Lodge have made the transition a very caring and welcoming experience for the whole family.
Their commitment to the residents and extended family are outstanding and I feel my mother is safe and well cared for emotionally, mentally and physically.

Many thanks to super team.

Review of St Anne's from Lorraine B (Daughter of Resident) published on 21 August 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
I really didn't want to put my mum in a care home so when it had to happen I chose St Anne's.
I honestly think this is the perfect place for my lovely mum for many reasons .
The staff are absolutely fantastic very caring and knowledgeable and give well over 100% to mums needs
The home is beautifully kept and is like a hotel , the food is amazing honestly.
The activities are always fun running once in the morning then in the afternoon every day is different so mum is always entertained.
I would recommend St Anne's for a caring Space to live and be well
Cared for.
The staff here really do go above and beyond and it's such a comfort to me to know that my mum is safe .
Thank you to all who work there you are all true Angels

Review of Millbeck from Edward S (Friend of Resident) published on 20 August 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

My friend lives at Millbeck Care Home and receives excellent care. He really enjoys gardening and growing his own vegetables, which gives him a wonderful sense of purpose and independence. The staff are fabulous - kind, supportive, and always encouraging residents to take part in activities they enjoy. The care home is continuously ongoing with projects of improvements the latest project of the garden make over is magnificent i believe the care home were support by a local college who wanted to show there appreciation to millbeck care home on supporting there student on placement to develop health and social care skills & knowledge, I always feel a sense of warmth when visiting my friend I would highly recommend Millbeck care home.

Review of Ridgemount from S P (Daughter of Resident) published on 20 August 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
The nursing staff and receptionists are so kind and work so hard, I do think they are short staffed my mum would like to go out in the garden but she'sand I don't like when they swap staff from other wards the clients need to build a rapport with nursing staff having different staff confuses them.

The rooms are a little dated and my mums room gets these horrible flies every few weeks it does get dealt with but it is a health and safety issue only been out there maybe 3 times in 2 years

Review of Silk Court from Tiphaine D (Daughter of Resident) published on 20 August 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

The staff are extremely professional friendly and caring. The care home is very clean and well kept. It is welcoming and I feel my mum is in a very safe and caring environment. the staff who care for her directly do a wonderful job. I really think the care home could do with a full time or at least part time activity/occupational therapist/specialist rather than rely on the caring staff who are already very busy and doing an amazing job. Someone who would run daily meaningful physical and entertaining activities and liven up the atmosphere for residents and staff.

Reply from Renae Dixon, Home Manager at Silk Court

Thank you for taking the time to review Silk Court. We are delighted you rate our staff, support and overall experience as excellent, and I will pass on your kind comments. We agree that meaningful activities are important to residents wellbeing, and our programme is tailored to their interests and abilities. We appreciate your suggestion regarding additional activity and will take this on board.

Review of Israel Sieff Court from Janice C (Daughter of Resident) published on 19 August 2026 Submitted via Postal Card
Overall Experience

Israel Sieff is a very friendly and welcoming home. It is clean and well kept. Staff work very hard to make residents feel 'at home, away from home'. Staff are friendly, pleasant, helpful, considerate and compassionate. I know my mum is in good hands and is well looked after.

Review of Hatfield House from Lyn B (Daughter of Resident) published on 19 August 2026 Submitted via Postal Card
Overall Experience

My mum went into care 8 months ago, following a diagnosis of dementia. She was also physically unwell. The staff at the home were amazing. I am convinced that without all the input my mum wouldn't be here now. From Laura on reception, care staff, laundry, caterers and cleaners, they all show empathy, kindness, patience and total care. My only concern for everyone in the home is the heat. The staff do their utmost to care even though I have seen them wilting. I am sure air con would be of great benefit through these prolonged hot summers. Praise to all the staff.

Seems Nice Enough. Staff very Helpful and always ready to answer any questions,

Bit of a muddle with laundry. Had some clothing that didn't belong to him, and slippers going missing but this was sorted out quickly.
