My mum lived at Dearne Hall for the last 3 years of her life. She had nothing but praise for all the staff and care, kindness and fun she received. Nothing was too much trouble. Everything she needed or wanted was available for her. The home is very clean and beautiful surroundings. Meals are plentiful
and she enjoyed most of them. There is a varied social programme for the residents, visiting entertainers, arts and crafts, quizzes, and exercise sessions. I can't praise the medical and nursing care given to her, especially during the later stages of her life.

Bethune Court has welcomed my mum into their care facility. Mum has been there a short time but in that time the difference in her is remarkable. At her home she didn't eat, was depressed and lonely. At Bethune Court she is eating three meals a day and joining in with the activities.
I can go back

I had to bring my sister in law as an emergency in Dec 2025. She has always been very houseproud, loved her home and garden. All the staff have been most helpful and kind, which eventually made it easier for her to make the necessary decision to stay here permanently. She loves the staff, the food,
and the garden, and the music sessions with the visiting vocalists. The staff have also supported me through the past 5-6 months with their help and kindness. All good!

Very Happy with the Care Mum is having at Eastlake she has settled much better than expected as she did not want to move initially but has Dementia and was and becoming isolated living at home alone. After three months she has become more sociable, enjoys the musical activities and making new friends.
It gives us great relief to know she is so well looked after, taking her medication correctly, enjoying a variety of meals and is much more comfortable. Highly recommend Eastlake to anyone looking for somewhere for a loved one.

My mum came to Heyberry House in January 2023, following a long stay in hospital due to a fractured hip and sepsis. She was only six stone and could hardly stand up, even with a walker.
The staff at Heyberry have taken exceptional care of my mum in the last three and a half years. She regained her
weight over the next 12 months thanks to the delicious food and was encouraged to socialise in the lounge and to enjoy the lovely garden.
There has been continuity in my mum's care as the staff do not change very much - they know my mum and she knows them, which is very important. They have been respectful, kind and patient with my mum, even when she is expressing her (sometimes very strong) opinions.
Her 90th birthday was very special as we had family in the conservatory and the chefs at Heyberry made my mum a cake, to be shared with everyone living and working there. Since then her mobility has seriously reduced, but my mum continues to receive the highest quality of care. Thank you all

Overall experience is a good one. There's a couple of niggles I do think the food choices could be improved. The laundry system has been poor lost many articles and ended up with other residents clothes. Activities a bit hit and miss. Days out are needed for those that can be taken care of safely or
more exciting activities to keep residents engaged. Staff are amazing very attentive.
Reply from Nicola Pendrey, Manager at Tandy CourtThank you for taking the time to review Tandy Court and we are pleased you rated our staff as excellent. We appreciate your lovely comments regarding our team, which I will pass on. We've recently implemented improvements with our laundry. Our menus are regularly updated and arranged with residents' preferences and dietary requirements, with additional choices from a call order menu always available. We're looking at arranging outings over the next few months. I'm always happy to discuss feedback on all aspects of day-to-day life at Tandy Court.
